Unfortunately, after telling the tenant he would contact me to discuss what he suspected the problem was (after talking to the tenant and receiving pictures), he did not contact me. After a four days I sent him a follow up text. No response until 10 days later via text. His reason was he was "out". He stated he was now catching up with calls and messages. He did not have his notes and said he confused us with someone else. I ended up going with another company that returned my call within one day and was flexible about when they could fit me in (2 days at my request) and fixed my problem within an hour. Then later it wouldn't open at all, I suspected that a part had broken but wasn't sure which part exactly. Started looking for someone to repair it since I don't know anything about garage doors, and I saw the positive reviews for Zach so decided to "Request a Quote" via his business website. I put in the request early Sunday morning, a few hours before his business hours showed open, and I received a call promptly when it was open. I was busy when Zach initially called and missed it, but I was happy to see he left me a polite voice message and email. I called him back a few hours later, and he answered right away and luckily he just finished a job and was in my area, so he was was able to stop by soon to check out the garage. Zach quickly identified the issue - I needed to have the springs changed (pair of torsion springs). He let me know he had the parts with him, so he could work on it right away if I was interested, otherwise I could contact him later if I would like to move forward. I really liked his thorough explanation and professional/respectful demeanor, so I decided to do the repair right away. They were very thoughtful and asked me if I would like to move out the car inside the garage just in case, to make sure the car is safe during the repair; and they skillfully manually opened the garage door for me (which I was unable to do the previous day and I think the attempts were why the door wouldn't open at all later). One day I was closing our garage door and the cable broke and the garage door just fell. Searched for garage door repair businesses on yelp and called this place (because there were a lot of good reviews) late in the afternoon and Zach answered the phone stating he was on his last job for the day, but if it was an emergency he would come that day. I thought that was really nice of him but I told him I could wait and he came the next morning. Initially we planned to fix the garage opener but I asked him if he could tell how old it was (we recently moved in and didn't know when the previous owner installed it) It was from 2001. He stated he could fix it, or he brought a new garage opener with him just in case. I chose to install a brand new one since the other one was so old. It took about an hour for the installation, plus he added more springs, balanced the door, closed a little gap in the middle of the door, and added a few screws that he said were missing. He even reprogrammed an extra universal remote control we had for our previous opener and installed a keypad outside of the garage. The door opens/closes way smoother and more quiet. He did a lot of extra things for us. Very nice, works fast, and does a good job. I definitely give 5 stars and recommend to anyone who needs garage door repair. read more

Called one afternoon because my garage door wasn't balanced, and I felt like my motor was straining to open the door. Although he (Zach) didn't answer my initial call, he sent a text just a few minutes later saying he was on a job, but if I left a message and send some pictures on what was wrong he could try and help out.
