I had a fairly annoying request when I reached out to Ovation AV; I had an existing TV that I wanted removed, have that TV placed into the box for the NEW TV, move the mount position on the new TV so it hangs lower, and hang up the new TV on the existing mount. They were able to come out within 2 days of me making the request for quotes on Yelp. Matt and Joe were both super friendly when they came in, offered to wear the booties that keep the house clean (which I declined), and got right to work. The entire process took a little over an hour. The old TV didn't quite fit in the styrofoam from the new TV's box, so the two of them spent some time cutting it down to size! On top of that, they ensured they vacuumed up the little pieces that inevitably get created when you touch styrofoam. On top of all that work, they came in at a super reasonable price for two people doing over an hour of work.

Liberty Bell came pre-installed with my Elliot home I bought in 2020, so I signed up with them to…read morecontinue service. I have had many issues with their equipment since, from the main panel glitching and not making noise for any alerts, to their sensors being faulty and incorrectly alerting to alarms that are not accurate. I had to eventually manually turn two of my sensors off because they were constantly alerting when I set the alarm for no reason, and they wanted to charge me to have someone come out to fix it. I tried almost 6 years to suck it up and rectify with them, but no more. My final straw was this week when my IQ main Panel started glitching and showing a screen overlapped with Spanish so I could barely use it. I reached out for assistance and was told I could reboot but if that didn't work a replacement would be needed at my own cost because after 1 year of contract the equipment is the responsibility of the homeowner (per their "policies"). So now, not only do I have two sensors not working but a main panel that is unusable unless I pay a good chunk of money for a new one, and am paying $40 monthly for security that is basically useless at this time. Their customer service was dismissive of my complaints and did not care for my concerns. I'm making the switch to a bigger brand company that offers more equipment for half the price and half the monthly price for monitoring, with lifetime equipment guarantee. With the number of options out there for home security, you'd think they'd try a little harder to update "policies" and help retain long time customers.

TW Electric was the company I had come give me a second opinion after another electrician said I needed an urgent panel replacement and wiring that was going to cost me some thousands. Tyler came out within 24 hours of my calling. He assessed the issues and gave me an honest and fair estimate that was compliant but much lower than the original company. And he was able to do the work on the spot! He is not only trustworthy but knowledgable (explains things so they're easy to understand without "mansplaining") but also professional and super friendly. Bright Home Services provides INSTALLATION and set-up of your alarm system. What I liked about their service was that if you purchased your system as a whole upfront (the hardware), you remained on a month to month basis. If you decided you wanted to stop service, you could. This was not the case with other companies. They wanted you to complete your contract or pay 70% of your contract term--which I found a bit odd. Many co-workers and friends also told me that they ended up getting ring, or other self-install set-ups. I am not particularly that tech savvy. Ultimately I think the hardware, can end up being the same price roughly. However, bright home services not only brings the hardware and they install it for you. Then you can keep the hardware. They did work all over my house, were very pleasant, accommodated my work times and when I could be home, installing even later into the evening. When I had a last minute add on, they even came another day and worked through some of the bugs to get it set-up. If I had done myself, I would have just lost my patience and gave up. I am really grateful for their fast, kind service. Look forward to continued service. Also their company offers other higher end smart home functions, as well as solar panels. Pretty cool.
