I made my appointment for that specific time and left a $30.00 deposit. She messaged me saying that she will refund my money but only received 25.00 because they charge a fee. I think it's time someone write an honest review. I got my eyelashes done here about 2 months ago. My hairstylist gets hers done here so I thought I'd try it. First impression is the shop is messy and ghetto. I've had my lashes done before and they took about 3 hours. Zuly's only takes 1.5 hours because they do not isolate the lashes at all which is horrible for the health of your lashes. This sucks because when your eyes are closed and you can't see what's going on you trust they know what they're doing but they don't. Like a dummy I went back for a fill 2 weeks later and the girl had her boobs all over my forehead and did a terrible job. I took my lashes off after that. She offered to curl my hair when styling and I said no because I wanted to see the cut. She didn't let me see while she worked not until she was completely done. She curled it anyway. Do not get lash extensions here! I came to this salon because a friend of mine and I wanted to try lash extensions. She had previously gotten them done at a location that she enjoyed but she heard this salon was having a promotion. I do not know how much they normally charge for lash extensions but the promotion when I went was $45. I should've ran when I heard the price because I've heard that extensions are normally around the $100 range, but I thought it was a reasonable price. Upon getting there the salon is hot. There's no AC in here. No one greets you when you get there. It took about 30 minutes to get helped even with an appointment. I let it pass because it was a Friday and I know many clients want services. When I was called to start my appointment I was seated in a chair that rocks back. It wasn't the most comfortable. I sat for about an hour. The eye pads placed under your eyes are just sticky and there was nothing soothing about them. I told the person doing my lashes that I wanted something natural. She said she would mix the lengths to make it look natural. Once she was done, I looked in the mirror and thought they looked super fake and felt fake but it could've just been because it was my first time. I did not ask if the lashes were synthetic or what the quality was. Come to find out. The hair they use is thick and unnatural. I went a week with my eyes feeling so uncomfortable. I tried brushing them out but I kept getting stuck on glue. When I looked at my lashes closely in the mirror I noticed I had huge clumps of glue buildup. One eye even had one of those cloth fibers stuck in it that would hit my eyeball. I also noticed that I had bunches of fake lashes attached to a single natural lash. Eventually I got so sick of them and was so uncomfortable I had to go get them removed. The other salon I went to to remove my lashes informed me that lashes should be attached individually. She said I had about 5-6 lashes attached to 1 single lash, which is why I was so uncomfortable. My natural lashes were so weighed down that opening and closing my eyelids was so hard. It took so long trying to have these lashes removed because there was so much glue on them. I have lost so much of my natural lashes and it's a shame I trusted a salon with a very low price. You pay for what you get and you'll most likely get the bad service even with a fill price here. I got my lashes done on a Monday and noticed that when I left they looked really dispersed and not "full". Take in mind she only spent like 30 mins on me while other places take longer for some reason which might have been why my lashes didn't get the "full" look.
