We don't order from here anymore unless we're desperate. There used to be a nice old lady taking our orders, and now it's some young girl who couldn't give two poops about anything. I am not sure if they had staffing issues or if this is their normal way of operating, but when we were there, there was a girl working the register and I believe she was the waitress, and busser, and doing all front of house work. I say "I believe" because even with nobody in line, we were not brought drinks until I approached the register and asked. We had to ask for silverware, and chopsticks. The service was not good, at all. Also, me and my teenage son were offered to buy drugs by a man as we walked in. The food was good, and I would eat it again. Food was decent, service was meh. I called in for a takeout order and the girl who took my order did not confirm my order, ask for my name or number, or give me a total $ before she hung up. I assumed it got cut off and called again to let them know I wanted to make sure they got my order that I just put in, but another woman picked up. There must have been some miscommunication because they called back later to ask if I called more than once which I said yes, because I wasn't sure they got it the first time. And then when I got there, the cashier told me to make sure that I let them know if I ever call in twice, which I did, because they ended making double my order. So it was all bad communication but the sesame chicken was worth it at least. The drunken noodles were ehhh. Would I order again? Drunken noodles with chicken was okay but bland. Salt and Pepper Calamari is a fried calamari drenched in sauce. Their version of "spicy" is adding a bunch of jalepeno instead of making the sauce spicy. Cream Cheese "crab" wontons are good, just expect the usual 1/2 tablespoon crab inside each. Better off going to King Soopers Hot and Sour soup was way too thick. Do not get it "extra spicy" as it was AWFUL. I don't know if it was the soup or the spice level but it is inedible. Easy parking. The place was pretty empty for lunch. This is the kind of place that you can hear them cooking your food while you wait. I order the Shrimp Mee Hoon lunch special. The Egg Drop Soup was delicious, but it comes with Tofu for those with food allergies. The noodles were pretty good, but considering the thickness of the noodles the sauce was a little heavy. I found Zume on UberEats and ordered take-out on a late week day night. I ordered: (1) Drunken noodles with Chicken 8.5/10 -This was pretty comparable to Chow Fun at a Chinese restruant. There are some jalpenos in her that gave just the right amount of kick for me. The noodles were soft and chewy. Chicken wasn't dry!! (2) Sesame chicken (medium spicy) 8/10 -The medium spicy version of this could be spicy for some, so if you don't like spicy food, I recommend getting the mild version. I enjoyed this entree but if I were to critique it, the breading was a bit thick and the chicken was a little dry. The sauce it comes in is pretty wet so the chicken seems more soggy than crispy. (3) Tahu XO Sauce 7/10 -Got this with fried tofu. The bell peppers in this entree has a pretty strong flavor profile, but I didn't mind since I like peppers. The spices used for this dish tasted more typical Chinese but I just didn't like the texture of the tofu (personal preference). The friend I went with thought this entree tasted the best, so it might differ according to what you like. Overall, this place is a solid take-out place if you are craving some Asian fusion/Chinese food!! Will be ordering from here again. read more

Excellent Chinese food in a nice nice place to stop if you fly into the Denver airport and are heading towards the mountains. Friendly server and staff has been friendly in the past. Nice menu. The egg drop soup is among the best I've had anywhere. Dishes are reasonably priced and good size. We had a yellow curry with chicken that was delicious. The beef and broccoli had lots of broccoli and lots of beef it was also delicious. I had chicken satay Which was a nice portion in good value and the sauce was delicious. Food came out hot and fast. This place has really good food and used to have great customer service but I don't like businesses that get over on people by working the system. For example, if I order takeout, don't charge me for things that you wouldn't charge me for if I was to eat there. Like condiments you'd normally bring to the table with no extra charge. You never know what you'll get in a strip-mall restaurant. I have found some true gems and some not-so-great options. Zume Asian Cuisine is small but clean inside with simple 2-top and 4-top tables. Parking is plentiful. The food was... okay. We had a takeout order of Chicken Pad Thai (medium spice), a Chicken Vietnamese Noodle bowl, and the Vietnamese eggrolls. The Chicken Pad Thai was very (temperature) hot and had good flavor. The medium spice had very little heat and more of a sweet flavor. The Vietnamese Noodle Bowl was a big disappointment. They do not have a description of the dish on their online menu, but I expected more than noodles, chicken, lettuce, and fish sauce. Sprouts, mint, cilantro, carrots, peanuts, lime... none of these items were included. Maybe an oversight on our order, but definitely a bummer. I didn't care for the eggrolls. They had a strange flavor, in my opinion. When ordering online, our two entrees showed a $1 Convenience Fee on each dish. Why? I am not sure. There is an option to "uncheck" the $1 fee, which I did for both entrees before adding the dishes to the cart. When finalizing our order there was another $1 convenience fee on the total bill, which was not something that could be removed. I understand costs are continually rising for restaurants, but just add a fee to the food cost, please. A convenience fee, which you are allowed to uncheck, feels like a "gotcha" fee if you don't notice and uncheck the box. I likely won't return. read more

My co-worker introduced me to this hidden gem one day when we worked together. I choose the Panang with Chicken. It was one of the best Panang's in Denver, CO and I am pretty picky about Panang. When he bought me my check, because he seen I was done, I asked for a "To Go container for both the rice and panang, along with a bit more rice. Again, I was disturbing his conversation on the phone. I go up to pay cash and ASK for a bag to put my leftovers. Again, I was a disturbance. He laid my change on the counter and laid the bag too and sat down. No way did he offer and pack it for me, because his conversation was much more important. Some menu prices have increased by them marking the new price with a black sharpie. If you increase your prices, I will guess the same reasoning as other businesses, covid, supply chain issues, etc., again taking a guess. I did not leave a tip and here's why.... I had a craving for Chinese food. I've deployed to Aurora, Colorado. So I checked Yelp to see what Chinese spots were near me. So ZUME ASIAN CUISINE came up so I decided to order from them #1 it was close by #2 they delivered. I ordered my fav dish, Mongolian Beef & I ordered some veggie spring rolls that per the owner are made homemade and healthy. The owner was also nice enough to give me 3 crab regoon to try. The owner had a very pleasant voice and I was her first order for the day as they open at 4:00 pm. Well, I'm pleased to say that the Mongolian beef was banging and delicious and I requested it to be spicy and they were spot on. The homemade spring rolls prepared by the owner were absolutely scrumptious and they weren't greasy but perfect crunch. The crab regoon yummy to my tummy, they were like dollops in my mouth. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight. We ordered delivery and our food arrived 5-10 minutes early. The delivery man was extremely courteous. I rested two orders of summer rolls (they come 2 to an order). They were filled with lots of rice noodles, lettuce, and shrimp. These were probably the biggest summer rolls I have ever had. I , also, liked that the shrimp was salted perfectly. My husband got the general tso chicken. That was Amy least favorite thing we ordered. The chicken seemed a little dry. My kids and I enjoy this restaurant. It is a small family owned company. They are a busy restaurant and their service is the same as most smaller Asian restaurants. Their food is good. I always order spring rolls and a soup called Tom kha with a side of fried rice. My kids gets the chicken satay, a side of fried rice and chicken pad Thai. My hubby has gotten several different dishes with beef or seafood and he has liked them. This is a good neighborhood restaurant and worth the visit. There was also zucchini in my drunken noodles and that wasn't listed either under the description of the dish.
