Good food I got the combo fried rice from California so this is the best Asian food I had out in Colorado. I recommend 10 out of 10. Plenty of meat.

Not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars because my family and I loved it! The food was well priced, came out quickly, and was delicious! Service was excellent. Inside was very very clean. We will definitely be return customers!

This place is a gem in the GVR town center. You must come visit. They offer take out and dine-in option. We ordered some traditional favorites: lo mein and chicken fried rice. They came with a veggie egg roll each, and wow. So good. The menu was varied and looks like there is something for everyone. Food came out fast and was hot and fresh with great flavors. Service was friendly and prompt. Come check out this place for yourself. It's awesome!!

Having worked across the street for three years I made my way here for lunch a handful of times. Most recently my fiancé, a friend and I chose to grab and early dinner here to nurse our hangovers. PROs: ++ Everything was super tasty! The Beef Lo Mein and General Tso's Chicken were my favorites! Great flavor! ++ Portions are large and everything is served up family style. Def makes it easier for sharing amongst the table. ++ Perfectly fried Crab Cheese Wontons! ++ Prices are on-point! Averaging $10 per person with plenty of leftovers! CONs: -- Service is on the slower side for sure. -- Decor is very minimal which makes it feel a little awkward. -- They don't check back with you table, so if you need more water or something else make sure to ask. Blue Bay Asian Cafe is def an "A-OK" in my book! Given that it is one of the better Asian restaurants near me, I'm sure I'll be making my way back.

Carts rotate and display their options to you frequently as you enjoy your meal. So tou can order plates as quickly as you finish them. I recommend the pork buns and pork ribs. My favorite this time around were the leek dumplings with a side of noodles. We finished off with a coconut bun that wasn't too sweet. It was the perfect finish to the meal with ample amounts of tea. Use the kiosk up front to reserve your spot!

Here unfortunately looks to be pre made by some factory somewhere and not freshly made? From picture, you can see the skin stick to the tin container and thus the soup has all leaked out. The beef with flat noodles was also a bit disappointing in that the beef has no texture as in they used too much baking soda in overly tenderizing the meat. The noodles also seemed thinner than the ones I'm more used to back home in Texas. Overall, it was just an ok place, which was a disappointment since I drove my mom from ft collins just to have some dim sum with here for the weekend I'm here visiting.

The restaurant is pretty large, exceptionally clean and quiet enough to have a conversation. We loved our entire experience and cannot wait to come back, so we've already planned our next visit! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helped answer a few questions we had about different dishes. We had about a 20 minute wait for our table, so we grabbed a couple cocktails at the bar first. I had the Harmony in Beijing and my girlfriend had the Oolong Old Fashion. Both were really refreshing and a great way to start dinner. One thing we really liked was the ordering style. Once you're seated, you just keep picking out small plates you want to try, just like a lot of dumpling shops in China and Japan. It honestly brought back memories from my trips over there. The atmosphere and decor was beautiful and felt authentic without trying too hard. Our favorites were the Spicy Cucumber Salad, Spicy Green Beans, Beef & Vermicelli Dumplings, Hot Sea Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, Pork & Chive Dumplings, and the Crab Rangoons. Everything was fresh and came out pretty quick. We also ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, but I only had one bite because we bought it to give to a homeless woman we met at the park near where we were staying. The biggest downside is the price. It's very, very expensive for what you get. Dumplings that were basically the same size and quality as ones I ate all over Japan for $4-$7 were over $14 here. A pretty small plate of stir fried green beans being around $20 was kinda hard to justify. The only dishes we really didn't care for were the Chinese Style Broccoli, which was pretty plain and lacked flavor, and the Pork & Mushroom Dumplings. They tasted good, but they were dry enough that I probably wouldn't order them again. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back, but probably only for a special occasion. The food and experience were great, but the pricing keeps it from being a place we'd visit regularly or for a casual night out.

My group of 7 shared the roasted pork, pork and duck barbecue. I'm not a fan of duck so it would not be fair for me to write anything about it, but those who loved duck meat said that this place serve wonderful barbecue duck. As for the pork, both roasted and barbecue, they were so good. We had a little bit of white rice to eat with the meat, but really, you don't need the extra rice in order to eat these two types of pork meats. Since both styles of the pork were prepared differently, I cannot say one is better than the other: they were both delicious. The crunchiness and the flavorful from the roasted pork, as well as the aroma and the soft chewy from the barbecue pork, brings this dining experience to the next level. We also ordered the yu stir fry choy sum in garlic, the combination fried rice, and salt and pepper shrimp. I highly recommend the yu choy and shrimp dishes. I would skip the fried rice and get their beef chow fun, which is exactly what my other group of 6 did. In addition to what were mentioned above, they ordered Chinese broccoli, daikon and beef in clay pot, Taishan five spice duck, salted fish & chicken fried rice. Everyone enjoyed their food and dining experience here. Conversations were easily understood and heard. When asked what their favorite dish was, all of us said we liked everything, but when pressed to give one special dish, several folks mentioned the roasted pork, the clay pot, and the salt and pepper shrimp. Service here was excellent. The manager was very accommodating to our large group of diners, coming back and making sure we are doing fine as he refilled our water glasses. If you are looking for legit Chinese barbecue pork and duck, you don't need to look further: it's here at Happy Cafe BBQ. Enjoy!
