    Dirt marks on every side.

Beware ordering online. I purchased a new adidas clear festival bag and received a clearly used bag in the mail.

    Jessica was amazing!

At the west side store they didn't have the products I needed and the ones they did have were drenched in dust and priced about 40 percent higher than competitors. There's no lighting in part of the store and the counters at the front looked like a salvation army with their disorganization. In short, they don't answer the phone, the people across the company don't know what inventory they have and feed you disinformation and their store was dirty and overpriced compared even to the chain stores. Would strongly avoid.

I get it - but still disappointing. Next 3 pairs were low end options I tried because the sales lady was nice enough to pull them. I asked to try two specific well rated skates (Bauer Supreme's, Vapor 2X)but was told they didn't carry them in my size (11's) and if I wanted them the manager would need to order direct from Bauer and have me pay up front. No thanks. Went to Pure Hockey a few days later. They had a far better selection and I felt like I was talking to people who knew their stuff. It was a better experience by far and that really surprised me.

Backcountry uses DoorDash for "last-mile" delivery in the city, but their security standards are nonexistent. In my case, the driver dropped my package in an unsecure, open area and failed to ring the doorbell or knock. Despite the fact that I worked from home on the day specifically to ensure I was present for deliveries, the package was stolen by a porch pirate before I even saw the notification. When I contacted customer service, they were completely dismissive. They refused to offer a reorder or investigate the delivery failure, essentially stating that their responsibility ends the moment the package touches the ground--regardless of where or how it was left. If you live in an urban area where package theft is a concern, do not trust this company with your money online. Their "completed delivery" policy offers zero protection against negligent couriers. Unless you can buy it in-store and walk out with it, I recommend taking your business to a retailer with more accountable shipping practices.

I've done some…read morepretty big art shows over the years--Sedona Art Show, Tubac Art Festival, Fourth Street Avenue in Tucson.... All of them had high booth fees, sure, but not one of them was $2,500. And every single one offered perks: free coffee, donuts, water, lunch--something that showed they valued the artists. They gave us nothing, not even the cute bag the customers get. And by the way, there is admission for the customers to get in. I think it was $25. This event packed in over 600 vendors, and while I originally thought being accepted meant they loved my designs and the show was fully juried, I found out they were still letting people apply the week before. That was disappointing, to say the least. I did well with the customers who actually made it back to the very last row--those who found me truly appreciated my work. Their comments were exactly what I hoped for. But here's my honest question for those who do this show every year: why? There's simply no way to justify a $2,500 booth fee plus all the extra expenses like parking, hotel, very pricey food costs. So I'm left wondering... is this show more about status than sales? A "Look, I'm in the One of a Kind Show!" kind of thing? I felt scammed and quite embarrassed that I did the show!

Also got a rug with a Chicago manhole cover printed on it. So many choices from skin care, jewelry, candles, clothing. You name it, it's probably at one of a kind show. Lots of price points too. We are usually able to snag street parking close by. Easy access to enter & restrooms available.
