One of the better brewery options in Fort Collins and they keep evolving with improvements in all aspects of their operation. Great space inside and out. One of the better breweries to go to on nice days with lots of outdoor seating. The staff is great and very helpful with making beer decisions as they have a lot of choices. One of the best things is they have two beer menus. One is traditional German style and the other is American craft styles. They truly offer something for everyone and frequently update with new choices. Great place for large groups! They do an excellent job of scheduling food trucks just about every day and keep the variety going instead of the same ones on the same days all the time which is more common in Fort Collins. Definitely should be one of the places you visit if in Fort Collins specifically to check out breweries and also a great place for local regulars as they offer so much variety. read more

Good beer and an outdoor area that's good for kids. We've been there a few times and there's always been a food truck out front.

We had a friend visiting from the east and decided to head to Ft Collins on a day when the Rams were out of town. We thought we'd try to stay away from the larger breweries in town for a change. We were all very impressed with Zwei. The taproom was nice, lots of space to sit. Unfortunately I was the DD so I only sampled a couple of tasters but they were great! Very astounding German style beers. The young lady doing the draws in the taproom was impressive with her knowledge of beer and all that goes into making it. A truly excellent brewery. Lots of subtle toasty flavors in the pills. Session beers with subtlety, not designed to win awards but to be enjoyed. In a town filled with breweries, it's unfortunate to see one that will disrespect customers based on the opinion of one regular. I believe his name was Andy. We went out for the evening to watch the Clemson game and were pleasantly surprised to see that Zwei had the game on when we stopped by. After watching half the game with the table next to us (8 of us total), Andy came in and changed the TV to what he wanted to watch. Apparently the bartenders just give him the remote to do what he wants. After we mentioned that we were watching the game, I was rudely questioned on whether I was from South Carolina and told that nobody wants to watch that game anyways. Because of the unprofessionalism of the staff, all 8 of us left to watch the game where they actually care about their customers. I used to come here at least once a week, but no more. There're many better options in town. read more

I'm a big fan of this place! While Black Bottle is my north Fort Collins place to meet with clients, this is a great option on the south end of town. The beer is great, always enough seating, and they have an outdoor patio. They are super dog friendly too which is always fun. Good brew - if only they had time for a female patron waiting on an oil change nearby. 1st time in. A man walks in a good 5 minutes after me- obviously joining a group of regulars. I stood at bar (only 12 people in the entire place) trying to get bartenders attention, man walks in to join his group of 'regulars' and gets served immediately. Went here after cross country skiing one day and was pleased. Nice relaxing atmosphere where you can grab a board game and play at your table (order all drinks at the bar), most tables there were playing a game. We got the weissbier and todd's stout and tasted the chocolate banana (dopplebock?). They were all pretty good beers, not amazing but still plenty good about them. The weissbier had an unappealing smell to it, similar to what I've smelt when making a peach wine before but I didn't mind that much. As someone who really enjoys craft brewing/breweries and the craft culture I thought something was lacking though. I asked what the name meant (two brothers) and tried to get some info about if they were German or why they brewed this style, etc and the bartenders either didn't know or had no interest in talking about it (and it wasn't being too busy that was prohibiting them from talking). This is discouraging coming from a craft brewer that has supposably been winning awards since 2001. Being part of the craft movement they should be selling the why they make the beer as much as the beer itself. I suggest having some signs or a pamphlet that customers can read if they want. But if you as a customer are not interested in that aspect then it won't matter. We will be back for sure. read more

Fantastic brews in a south Fort Collins location! Just what was needed! The staff is quick and friendly and the 3 beers I've samples (so far!) were all excellent! This town can be picky - we have so many great beers! But Zwei should have no problem competing. I hope other local restaurants start carrying/offering ZB brews! The atmosphere is great, especially when the weather affords the ability to open the big garage doors. The wood tables and benches are gorgeous. I suggest the sampler ... And the Dunkel is my personal favorite brew. Food is available from the Taps food truck outside. read more

I stopped by this place while on a business trip to Fort Collins. My goal was to have 1 beer, since I was trying to hit a couple of other breweries that day. So I tried the Hefeweizen and it was solid. I asked the bartender to pick out his best IPA and give me a sample. He comes over with 4 samples and says he couldn't pick a favorite. Talk about great customer service. All of them were great. Next time I'm in Fort Collins, I'll be stopping back in for more. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon because a friend's band was playing on the patio. There's limited seating, but the beer is good enough to make you stop caring... I did a sampler set and specially enjoyed the Helles (golden) and the Dunkel (amber). That's saying a lot because I tend to prefer darker beers; however, it was a hot day and the lighter brews were very refreshing. OK so why four stars instead of five? Scant parking and limited seating -- but, again, Zwei's beers more than make up for those minor hassles. Prost! read more

So disappointing. Hoping that there was going to be a brewery on the south part of town to enjoy finally. Unfortunately, they close very early and start cleaning while people are still ordering. Bleaching the floors while drinking your beer not only ruins the beer (which may have been ok otherwise), but burns the eyes. Bummed. read more

Was here in either October or November of '16... saw the short fat dude with the backwards cap leave PUKE on the ground for about 45 minutes without cleaning it up. Someone had barfed in between the 2 bathrooms and rather than mop it up he just propped up a yellow folding sign and went about his business. Other customers had to warn my group so that no one made the mistake of stepping in it. WHACK. Not to mention, his overall service was seriously the worst I have EVER seen in any service industry. It was my second time there, but I wouldn't go back as long as short, fat dude still works there. read more

One of my favorite breweries in town, these guys could teach Prost a thing or two about great German beer. I have been consistently impressed with their traditional releases and find myself stopping by on my drive home for a shift beer about every other week. They have been expanding their more typical American craft brews, such as the always popular IPAs, etc, but if you're not drinking the Helles Lager, Pilsner, and Dortmunder Export, then you're not seeing the best these guys have to offer. Our first experience at Zwei Brewing was really above average by a lot. The beer-tender guy who happens to be tall and have a great beard was super nice and recommended several great beers that we ordered in our beer flight. In addition, the options for seating were great! If you would like to sit outside, inside, inside with open windows; they have it. You can just relax and enjoy a beer or play board games they have set aside for guests, or play ping pong. I believe I also saw a few tvs playing different sport channels. Overall- it was great for my wife and I; but also seemed like a place that had something for everyone. read more

Finally a fun & flexible space to meet up with friends and sample some of the best craft brews in Northern Colorado. Made my first visit last Friday night and it was buzzing with conversation from the mostly filled up space. However, it did not feel too loud or cramped. The interior is well-lit & easy to move around. TAPS food truck has delicious pub fare at reasonable prices. Highly recommend for a low key get together with friends or catching a beer at happy hour after work. read more
