Ordered through DoorDash and our Cesar Salad was missing. The Berry salad was soggy and wilted and did not have the chicken that we ordered. The pizza itself was good. We called to see if we could please come pick up our missing salad and the person was very rude and refused. He blamed the issue on DoorDash but I highly doubt our driver went through our salad and picked out all the chicken lol. Wont order from here again. read more

High expectations after reading the reviews! Not so impressed. I would give the pizza 1 star. We ordered crispy and extra sauce like we always had growing up in Texas but no no one seems capable of that. The crust was sogggy, not crispy at all. The dough is like a real thin tortilla or something-just strange tasting. The sauce has a strange sweet/tang flavor like a bottle marinara with alcohol added. We didn't care for that at all. The salad I would give a 31/2-4 star. We mixed our own with all the greens and an egg and jicama with ginger dressing. The big salad could use two eggs and not just one small one for the price. But the main draw in a pizza joint is the pizza. I would not come back for the pizza but might pick up a salad if I am in the area. When average the rating, I get 2.5 but there are halfsies on Yelp so I average down since it is a pizza restaurant and the pizza was not good, but is expensive. For $30.00 I need pizza I can eat and a good salad. read more

Heard about this place at Colinas Crossing from a friend of mine who lives in the area. I was in town for business and was looking for a good pizza before heading to to the airport. The restaurant is in a retail store section off Highway 71 with plenty of parking and easy access. I was greeted by Eric when I came in and he handed me a menu to make it easy to figure out what I wanted. I ordered the MEAT'ZZA and a Karbach Blonde beer (local Austin brewery). I was looking for a new place to eat decided to try out this new pizza salad location and I can't say enough positive things about this place. The gentleman who took my order and help me decide what pizza would suit my craving was stellar. The beverages that they offer bottled canned and on tap was a good selection the pineapple pizza was sweet and spicy not overwhelming in flavors everything paired perfectly fine together with the garlic mozzarella cheesy bread was phenomenal I highly recommend this location to anybody who needs a fair priced meal that's for filling and will leave your taste buds partying for more read more

Pizza was thin crust so good from that angle but extremely oily and very little cheese...I had ordered two different pizzas and the vegetarian one was very salty as well. The avo salad lacked any flavor at all... it tasted like Mayo had been used as the dressing... really fatty taste on the fresh veggies and no taste ie what I expect from a good light dressing. I had added chicken for a fee onto the other salad and at first I was going to complain that they missed adding it while still charging for it. Then I noticed some of the 1.5 cm cubes of mozzarella were actually cubes of chicken. There were probably 5 cubes of chicken for the fee I was charged. How about adding hot grilled chicken in its original form on top of the salad so we can see it instead of 5 cubes of chicken. There is a lot of potential here but I will not be ordering again. read more

This is a fresh new spot here in Lakeway - having been tired of the same old spots and minimal options, ZZA was a pleasant surprise. Super clean, plenty of options and a friendly staff. I got the Postrio pizza, which was fantastic- fresh ingredients, good ratios of meat, cheese and sauce. The crust is thin and crispy. My wife got the Avogoddess- which she loved- high quality, fresh ingredients and a generous portion. The owners were helpful and took the time to explain the menu, provide suggestions and answer questions. I hadn't planned on eating the whole thing but before I knew it, I looked down and my plate was empty. We found a new spot and can't wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu! read more

Visiting family in Dripping Springs and decided to yelp the closest place to get a great salad. Zza Pizza & Salad popped up at the top of the list so we decided to take the short 15 min drive over to Bee Cave and I'm so glad we did. The pizzas (flatbreads) were delicious!! Among the favorites in our group were the Pizza Meat'zza, the Postrio & the Thai Dye. They are quite large and all were piled high with toppings. We also really enjoyed the Cesar Salad which is a fun twist on a traditional Caesar Salad with the addition of cojita, lime & tajin. A bit of a kick but SO good! The restaurant is very clean, staff friendly and the food was prepared very quickly. Overall, we were very happy to stopped by! Definitely worth the trip! read more

Been waiting for my chance to go to this place since they opened. Raised in St. Louis so getting a pizza that reminds me of home is rare. Finally made it in early October. Late afternoon so no wait. When I ordered the pizza with provel cheese the man behind the counter immediately knew where I was from. Great pizza! Great service! Very clean and well run. Enjoyed all our pizzas here. It is the equivalent of our flatbread pizza here in SoCal. For a takeout, I thought that it had high quality ingredients and great tomato sauce. Way better than Blaze and Pieology that we find at home. The salads were very fresh as well. We had the berry salad...was a hit with the whole family. I'm a frequent visitor to Austin, and eat here at least once each visit. Up to now, I've had their terrific salads. Due to illness, I required lots of protein. They made me a bowl of chicken & egg, which was sooooo helpful. Today I had the pepperoni pizza. It was perfection. The crust was crunchy. The sauce was just right, not too spicy or bland. I love ZZA Pizza on Hwy 71. I started getting takeout during Covid and still grab a salad or pizza regularly. The salads are fresh and tasty and large and the their flatbread pizzas are unique and delicious. The crust is light and crispy and the toppings fresh and not overdone. We ordered online and were quoted 20 minutes until ready for pickup. Arrived to the location and waited a half hour to pick up two pizzas. Upon arriving home we discovered they gave us two completely different pizzas than we ordered. The pizza itself was okay at best. The sauce was overly tangy with a weird skunk to it and the dough was way too soft. Save your money and head further down the road to another pizza place. read more

Had ZZA for the first time ever. Granted this was an Uber Eats order, so a little delay between when it was made and when we got to eat it. Poke Bowl was surprisingly good. Great add and smart to include it on the menu. Tons of greens and the spicy sauce was really good. Tuna tasted fresh. Edemamae was good (not sure how to spell it). Pizza was good, not amazing, but good. We were boring with our order and it just had meat on it. Some of their fancier concoctions are probably tastier. The cheese garlic bread was gooey goodness. Obsessed with this place. Seriously - obsessed. When ZZA first opened, I admittedly thought, "Ugh, not another pizza place..." However, when my husband wanted to give it a try, I was pleasantly surprised with their fresh take. We have limited options out here, and were tired of the same old. ZZA has personal sized pizzas, mostly specialty ones (all with GF options), and salads. I can honestly say the salads are by far the best salads in our area. We order just salads to go at least once a week. The pizzas are also delish, and just the right size to fill you up without getting too full. Everything comes at a great price, and is way healthier with cleaner ingredients than your average pizza spot. Unfortunately, we've not been in the dining room yet due to Covid-19, but I highly recommend the food and encourage people to give ZZA some well deserved support during these difficult times. This place is awesome! My daughter and I visit Zza Pizza almost every week after her swim meets. Their pizza options are so creative with many interesting combinations but you can definitely get your favorite traditional toppings too. My favorite is the Thai Pizza. If you're looking for healthier options, they also have great salads that are always fresh and crisp. They have a great online ordering system with curbside pickup and are being super safe during COVID. 2 thumbs up from this happy customer. read more

This is my family's new favorite pizza spot. My kids love the pizza and they are just the right size for everyone in the family. And for the healthy eater in our family (wife), they have a nice variety of salads versus most other pizza places. Heck, I was surprised they had prosecco for purchase which was such a coincidence because my wife was asking for it the first time I went in. Not a prosecco fan?
