In the past couple of years, I have had Zzeeks pizza at various birthday parties and other events and I just ordered delivery tonight myself and I have to say, the pizza is great. I'd say about 3/10 times I eat here it's great. The other 7 times there is something wrong. They've forgotten my drinks when they deliver, they ALWAYs forget the ranch that I pay extra for and most recently got rid of broccoli cheddar crust and don't have their slice deal all day. Found this location which actually is pretty far from me, 30 min away, but still the closest one. Pizza was decent, but mainly came for the Angry Mustard wings, which turned out to be pretty good. I ended up getting 4 flavors. Medium, Mega Diablo, AM, and Salt &Pepper. All tasted great w the exception of the Salt & Pepper, was too salty so ended up tossing them out. Mega Diablo surprisingly was my fav. Medium was bomb too. So ended up going back a couple more times for these 2, plus found a good formula for the pizza. Still super long drive but was worth it. This last time, called in and ordered the same as I always did. Was repeated back perfectly. Picked them up as usual, but I always check my food before leaving. Noticed the Medium batch said Mild on them. Wasn't a big deal as mistakes happen, so I went back in to calmly let them know. One guy took it back, talked to a couple ppl and I sat down expecting to wait another 7+ min or so. Was in a hurry, but I'm pretty patient. To my surprise, it was brought back out in less than 2 min. Didn't think much of it as hey maybe a new naked batch came out ready to be sauced. As I walked out, noticed the label still said Mild. Flipped the top open and I see the wings now swimming in what I assume was the medium sauce liberally thrown over the existing mild. Their wings don't even come wet/drenched like this normally. Why not simply remake the order instead of making the issue worse? Whatever this was or wasn't, seems it was worth losing a customer. I can def save on time and gas from here. Would say it was a good run, but that would be giving too much credit. I guess when the order's right thats the limit, bc if it's wrong, you can expect to get the same one back horrifyingly modified. read more

ZZEEKS is so much better than every other slice you have ever had that you won't want any of those box company pies again. Every football Sunday, birthday party or just Friday night cause you don't want to cook you say let's get pizza. You'll want ZZEEKS. Someone will say let's just get Dom¡ñö$ or something. I am giving this three for the neighborhood feel and karaoke. This place is like a second home to Arcadia families. TVs on the tables for the children, so they don't see you drinking your fifth beer. Kids can count at a much earlier age, you know. I don't have kids so this does not pertain to me, but you know who you are. We saw you. Drinking and singing badly in front of the locals while your kids stayed glued to Sponge Bob. The pizza was extremely average. We thought it a mix between Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. But its something to suck up the alcohol after you sing your lungs out to Fall Out Boy. The wings were heavily breaded and not my thing. Kids probably like those , too. Yelp gets you a sack of free grease balls, aka zeppole that will test your stomach acids but taste really good, reminded me of the state fair "we fry everything booth". read more

This is my go-to restaurant for pizza and wings. They have great variety and the food is always excellent. Their ingredients are always fresh. I particularly like the fact that they have old school cupping pepperoni. Wings are also awesome. My favorite is the angry mustard flavor. Just be warned, the "angry" means some kick, but they taste fantastic. I also love that they have their own delivery from their website or app, so I can order without having to pay insane fees on a delivery app. I always try to order when they're doing a community support day. The pizza wasn't that bad just a little cold but for the price of the food I would expect a lot better. I ordered 1 xl pizza and a small gluten free as well as two orders of wings for a total of $90 ! The wings had little to no wing sauce and were extremely small. Called to ask for a new order of wings with more sauce and was met with excuse after excuse and the woman who answered even thought I was trying to cheat them out of free food. I'm not a fan: we have given them three tries ordering through Eat24 - even though we hated the pizza back in February - and yesterday out of an order of $46+, only the boneless wings and salad were edible. The Chicken Philly had less than 3oz of tiny, cubed chicken, hardly any cheese, and was on burnt bread; the entire sandwich took on the scorched flavor. Scott's meatball parmigiana sando had little to no mozzarella (subbed out for provolone on menu) on stale garlic bread with no marinara, and oddly, sautéed mushrooms?! I hate wasting food, but mine went into the trash, Scott was starving and ate his. Jody the owner was prompt to offer to replace the sandwiches, and is very nice; I declined. However, since we've had 2/3 experiences with inedible food, including items we had before which were now bad, we will not order again. I'm not a person who accepts free food, or invites from management to "come back in and we will make it better" instead, we revisit anonymously to have an average customer experience. Being community minded volunteers ourselves, we commend this location for their involvement in charitable endeavors, but consistency, pride in what the kitchen sends out, and good, edible product is paramount in the food service industry. I called them about n they trying to tell me thats how they are.. which I knw thats not true. Keto crust!!! Zzeeks is amazing at accommodating those of us who don't eat the typical diet. They now have a true keto crust with 6 net carbs for the whole crust. It tastes great and gives us keto people the option to have pizza on occasion. They also have a no sugar added sauce that tastes amazing. My boyfriend ordered the broccoli cheddar crust and I had to try it, it was also amazing. I can't recommend Zzeeks enough. *update Today was my first time trying Zzeeks Pizza. I am their newest fan. Slammed on the breaks.... Came here for Eegees... was pleasantly surprised. Booths are large for 8 , have TV playing with kids content. What I like the most, the boss lady is here taking care of her business. This place will get you in and out quickly. Beer wise they have 8 taps and 10+ bottles. This is seriously the only place I get pizza from. In my humble opinion, this is probably the best pizza place in the area for sure. I'm from the east coast so I know what good simple pizza is, and this place has it. I usually get a large pizza with some pepperoni or a variety of meats and it has A) the correct thickness is dough,, B) amazing tasting pizza sauce, C) the right about of cheese, and D) good toppings. I usually but some Franks red hot on there and i basically I'm in my personal heaven. I've tried a few of their apps that are OK, I recently had some tater tots and they were on the salty side but that's the way I like it so no harm, however, I can see other people not liking it. I've reported to management that we had found plastic inside our pizza, of course they had questioned it and said "I would not know where plastic would come from." Uhhh. My kids love their cheese pizza. Today, we ordered the same thing as usual, but as my kids started eating they started screaming and yelling about how spicy it was. As my kids are chugging milk to sooth the burn I called the restaurant to let them know about their nuclear pizza sauce. My husband, daughter, and I went into Zzeeks around 2 o'clock on a Wednesday. We were excited to try it because my husband had worked with Jody when she was the manager of a Dominoes Pizza several years ago. As we entered, we noticed that the tables were filthy. They were covered in grease and crumbs that we had to clean off ourselves, and the restaurant was not at all busy. As we looked over the menu, I heard the manager, Jody Pectol, talking to her crew about how a wing order needed to be perfect for her clients that were coming in to pickup a very large order. When our waiter arrived, my husband and I ordered a dozen salt and pepper wings and our little one ordered the chicken strip meal. When our wings arrived, they were visibly burnt and after tasting one, our observations were confirmed. When we notified the waiter that the wings were burnt, he was very rude. He said, "Maybe the flavor you're tasting is the salt and pepper. We cook all our wings this way. We could put a sauce over them or if you'd like to try us again, you could order them less cooked next time." I told him that I didn't see any option on the menu that stated a "less cooked" option in order for them not to be burned and that putting a sauce over the wings would not change the fact that they were burnt. To which he said, "Oh, it's not something listed on the menu but you could try ordering them less cooked next time." Like I would ever consider a "next time" after this! If they "cook all their wings this way" then why did the manager have to tell the crew specifically not to mess up the wing order for the high-profile client that was coming in? Why did this waiter feel the need to go on and on about how it must be my fault that I am tasting a burnt flavor when all he had to do was offer to remake them or refund us our money? Simply amazing. My family ordered our first Zzeeks delivery in early March 2020. What brought us in was the keto and gluten-free options on the menu. What kept us was the superior pizza quality and exceptional customer service. We order at least once a week and everyone still gets excited when they hear "Zzeeks is on the way!". I was in there and I ordered the Alfredo and the chicken tenders. We got the tenders but was waiting for a long time for the pasta. The workers clearly saw that I was looking and waiting for something else but never asked if I needed help and etc. I went up and asked if they got the Alfredo on the order and the guy up front said " no, no, I asked" and I was taken back by his attitude and left to get other food for my boyfriend. I have been ordering from the Ahwatukee Foothills since they opened and today is the first time I ever got food that was not good. I have tried almost everything over the years, but the Buffalo chicken sandwich is not good. The amount of actual chicken on it was equal to the bacon bits. It may have had enough for half a sandwich, but there is more chicken in 3 of the boneless wings. For the price of the sandwich it is not good. On everything else I give 5 stars. The ex-large extreme pepperoni pizza wasn't what I thought it would be based on the description, while the flavor was good there wasn't much food on it at all. The wings, while cooked and flavored OK, need to be from larger chickens...
