Wow, I had heard 007 was good but that was an understatement. It is phenomenal. I actually forgot that I had ordered this once via Door dash when they were still in the west size bazaar and loved it. We ordered quite a lot, but the dim sum lover, black bean eggs, and pork bao buns were our favorites. I really like the corn dim sum. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back very soon! Id recommend doing takeout as the inside isn't super inviting or comfortable. When we arrived we had planned to eat in and then opted to order pickup instead. This review is for takeout only. When I learned a new Chinese place has come to Hamburg I was ridiculously overjoyed. Better yet - it was on Uber eats so I didn't even have to leave my house! Well, it turned out to be disappointing. I placed an order around 6pm on a Sunday night and the order was delivered around 7:10pm. I decided to try the assorted Bao buns (6 kinds), the fried pork dumplings, the pork rib bowl, and the "lo mai fan" - sticky rice with shiitake mushrooms and chicken. The assorted buns - all the salty ones were good. I think there was the regular pork meat bun, the char siu (Chinese bbq) pork bun, and I think a chicken one? The sweet ones (black sesame, white bean, red bean) were just OK - honestly comparable to frozen ones I get from the Asian supermarket. The lo mai fan was gross. As someone who grew up in Asia and is used to the REAL lo mai fan dim sum dish - there's just something about the leaf it's supposed to be wrapped in that gives it that extra flavor, and the perfectly seasoning mushrooms and chicken and whatever else that's stuffed in them. This one came with just a ball of lo mai fan (sticky rice) with a layer of shiitake mushrooms then a layer of thickly sliced chicken breast. It also came with these deep fried wontons? I'm not sure what they were but I think there was pork in them. The pork rib bowl was ok. The flavor wasn't bad but for the cost - there was very little meat. It also came with some of those deep fried wontons. Lastly, the fried pork dumplings - maybe they would have tasted better fresh, but everything was basically cold and soggy by the time the food got here so I think everything just tasted that much worse than what I was expecting. I know it's not really the restaurant's fault for the food being cold, even though the restaurant is literally a 5-7min drive from my house. But honestly, I'm not sure that the food would have been that good even if they were all fresh and hot. That, on top of the ridiculous prices ($60 BEFORE Uber eats fees and tips) just isn't worth my time, money, and calories. read more

We stopped by the West Side Bazaar to try out a few international foods for a Yelp Elite event. The sample at this location was a black bean paste bun. 007 Chinese specializes in Dim Sum. We ordered a few more items as well; Char Siu Bao (Pork Buns) and Pork Shumai. We ordered a total of 6 buns and the Shumai for around $20. The buns were large and flavorful but they needed a sauce or hot oil. We did ask for something but all they gave us was a bottle of siracha. The hot sauce did help but I was craving Chinese hot oil. That would've given the buns the kick that they needed. The Pork Shumai was the best I've had in a while, so I highly suggest ordering it. I will definitely try a few more items the next time we stop by! read more

We were so sad to hear about the fire at West Side Bazaar. However, it was wonderful news when 007 was able to find space in Hamburg. The southtowns was missing an authentic dim sum experience and 007 will not disappoint. I happened to be in the area around mid day so it was the perfect time to grab some lunch. We have been trying to get dinner but every time we check the dinner pick up slots are full, a great problem for a restaurant to have. The online ordering process was easy and seamless. I received a text when my order was ready. Upon entering the facility they have a few small tables for dine in but the place is small so a lot of their business will be take out. I ordered the Shu mai, char Shu pork and steamed dim sum. Everything was delicious, fresh and hand made. It was better than you could ever hope for, nyc or Toronto quality and authentic. If you never had a steamed bun or a handmade dumpling or dim sum wrapper I highly recommend that you come and try some. I look forward to trying more menu items. Tried the new 007 Chinese Food place in Hamburg! Got the mango Bubble Tea..idk the difference between Bubble and Boba but these are chewy and not the kind that pop. It's yummy sweet and flavorful! Really enjoyed the Shu Mai and also got the Ha Gow which was ok. For dessert I got the black bean paste in the sesame seeds and they are as always delicious. They were super busy but cranking out the food. Overall I think $33 was pricey for the amount of food but will go back to try the bao buns! read more

Lo. Mai. Fan. - Where have you been my whole life?! My fiancé and I decided to try some food at West Side Bazaar after our hike. I've read multiple positive reviews that the lo mai fan at 007 is one of the best dishes at WSB. I finally got to try it today and I wholeheartedly agree!! This is one of the best things I've had in my entire life. The chicken and mushroom complements the sticky rice SO WELL. I highly recommend it! Coming from out of town this place was a little hard to find. It's located in the West Side Bazaar. The shumai were the stars here. Good sized and the taste is authentic! We sampled several of his dishes as part of a special event: -Shumai (dumpling) -Hagow (dumpling) -Char Siu Bao (bbq pork in dough) -Shrimp pockets -Lo Mei Fan (sticky rice) -Chicken Dim Sum Soup Everything was delicious, but I especially enjoyed the chicken dim sum soup. I loved the balance between sweet and savory between the chicken, apricots, and plum. The shrimp pockets were also extremely tasty. Traveling the country in search of dim sum restaurants we decided to stop by the "best dim sum in buffalo". Very different from the traditional dim sum restaurants that serve dishes off carts, as the place is located in a small asian style food court. The options are somewhat limited but they have 2 of the main dim sum dishes har gow and shumai. The food is made fresh to order so it comes out hot. Taste is also pretty authentic compared to other dim sum across the country. Overall a good intro to dim sum if you've never had it before, but pretty far from a traditional dim sum experience. read more

Most delicious dimsums in Buffalo. I wouldn't recommend this to vegetarians or non- pork eaters. Most of their stuff has pork. But their chicken sticky rice and shrimp something doesn't and both are amazing. For the rest of us order everything!! They steam it fresh. My personal favorite was their corn-O. Also the shrimp shu mai. The service is very good. They take cards. There are a decent number of tables and they bring the food to you. In the same area there are other authentic restaurants (more like stalls). Try the Japanese one for their ramen. So flavorful and yummy! We did not care for the sambusa from the Ethiopian joint though. Overall if you live in Buffalo and like dimsums you just HAVE to come here to try the amazing dishes. read more

I know you will love this place. In fact I "Dr. No" you will. This food comes "From China With Love", and while I do not recommend shoving your pinky into the ball of rice covered in Sriracha Sauce (you will end up with a "Redfinger"), this mound of tasty love has a thunderous taste. Anything else: Yes, I'd just like to mention how many great things in Buffalo that I would never have found if Alex L hadn't force fed them to me (with a spoon or fork, so don't get any weird ideas, I mean I'd do that too but he wouldn't so shut up please and thanks). How are you gonna repay him: Well I mean I've force-fed him the Ackee Saltfish at Dr. Bird's, the Ribeye Taco at La Divina, the Sinatra at Marco's, and so on, so I'd say we're about even. But can we get on with the review now: Yes sorry. If you haven't noticed, I will pay tribute to the amazing Sticky Coconut Rice (which is under $5, can be shared, and is absolute heaven) which Alex L introduced me to, and which every single person I have brought here has become obsessed with (about 8 people and counting). I will do this tribute by calling on 007 himself to illuminate this review with his License To Thrill. While you can't get a Vodka Martini here, you can get something much, much better. Now back to the 007 references. You should order two of them - after all, "You Only Live Twice." The Queen used to be the only person that knew about this dish, it was "On Her Majesty's Secret Menu", and meant only as a temporary dish. But these days it's been added to the much-lauded Diamond Menu, and the "Diamond Menu Is Forever." It tastes so good that if your friend was dying at the table while you were eating it, you might "Eat And Let Die." The chef here certainly has a golden spoon when it comes to making perfect dishes. I'd love to meet "The Man With The Golden Spoon." I brought a sexy CIA girl here one time, and she quickly became "The Spy Who Loved It." I didn't like Moon Buffet very much on Sheridan (I was not much of a "Moon-rater") but this place on the other hand, is so good, I'd have sex with it. That last comment was "For Your Eyes Only." I'm not sure if the meat used is Octopus or Cat or whatever. Maybe it's a combo, I'll call it "Octopussy." But I don't care and neither will you. You'll start with 2 or 3 of them, and then you'll kill them all within minutes. You'll go from "A Few To A Kill." Your ravenous love of these will scare "The Living Daylights" out of you, but don't worry. I am giving you a license to go ahead and kill this dish. Put it in your mouth. Chew. Swallow. You have a "License To Kill." Be careful not to squirt any of their Chinese mustard packets into your face or you may end up with a "Goldeneye" and it might sting, and not like the Englishman in New York. I keep saying we'll go tomorrow, but we never do, still the dream of going "Tomorrow Never Dies." All I can say is that if the world does not include Coconut Sticky Rice then "The World Is Not Enough." I can die happy after eating this dish, but I won't have a chance to eat it today, so I guess I'll "Die Another Day." I also tried ordering a Clams "Casino Royale" but they don't have it here. No big deal, I'm not going to be all miserable and calculate my "Quantum Of Solace", on the contrary. But if I don't get my sticky rice quota then let the oceans rise and the "Skyfall." A world without Coconut Sticky Rice from 007 is probably the most horrifying "Spectre" I can imagine. read more

A lot of dim sum choices. I tried the pork rib. The dark egg is a Duck Egg inside with Preserved Duck Egg, Shrimp, and Pork. The sweet pea dumpling all three dishes were delicious. The black bean bao was a sweet black bean paste in a doughy bun was a yelp perk that I did enjoy. I remember seeing 007 Chinese Food show up a few times while looking for a new Chinese place to check out. What I didn't know was that it was located inside of the West Side Bazaar which I was about to check out for the very first time! This little stand in the back of the bazaar stands out thanks to some fantastic pictures of buns that pulled me in from the get go. After little thought (the pictures practically ordered for me) I ordered a char siu bao (bun with grilled pork) which was quite possibly one of the single greatest things I have ever eaten. The bun itself was super soft and fluffy while the grilled pork inside was juicy and had so much delicious flavour. I also ordered some "corn-o steamed" which was literally steamed corn the size of a small roll, very tasty. The last thing I ordered was the bacon-o bacon which I didn't realize had shrimp in it until now, go figure? Either way I enjoyed it very much! Overall, this place was absolutely amazing and is definitely going to be a place I come to again and again.....and honesty I went back up and ordered a second bun before I left, so judge me. I ordered the Pork Rib bowl that came with pork fried dumplings. The pork rib was ALL bones, legitimately no meat at all, just bones! Any scrapings of meat were soo tough or fatty, not edible. It's a happy day. Dumplings are back at the West Side Bazaar! They have found a spot at the back end of the Bazaar and it seems to be a family run business. I arrived at 1:30 and they were out of the smaller dumplings I was looking for. I'll be back for those soon. I did get one of the larger "buns" filled with pork. There were a few choices, one vegetable and another been I think. I went with the meat option. It was really good. I say that with a limited frame of reference though. But I'll have it again I'm sure. Served with a very hot dip. Since Joile has left town I've been looking for a place nearby to get dumplings. Eddies on Main makes great ones. But this location is great for me as I'm in the area often. So glad someone has popped up here! It's not often that I say "thank goodness for FB". There is one thing you need you know about this place: YES sticky coconut rice, it is their most popular dish and sticks out as a $5 item as opposed to their other $3 items. It is so worth it. It is one of the tastiest, most savory food items in the entire West Side Bazaar and so friggin delicious I'm salivating now as I think about the dish while posting this review from my phone. The rice melted in my mouth with a perfect blend of spice and sweetness topped with tender chicken and delicious mushrooms...all presented quite beautifully. I would be content to order this again and again and I think 1 is a pretty satisfying meal (but then again there is so much tasty food at the bazaar it's hard not to get something else). I also had a steamed bun with pork, but honestly I'd skip that next time. It wasn't bad, but the sticky rice simply stolen the show. I didn't see any soup dumplings on the menu, but I will look closer next time as I crave those constantly. Just get the sticky rice. You won't regret it. Unless you can't stomach spicy food. Located in my favorite diverse wonderland of the Westside Bazaar! My boyfriend and I were greeted by Hein Saw and saw the fresh dim sum and steamed buns!! We ordered the "Char Siu Pau" in which was a steamed bun with: grilled pork, jicama (Chinese potato), White flour, starch, and yeast..this is the most popular!! The vegetarian steamed bun was my favorite (its vegan too) called: "SAYO PAU" and that steamed bun included: fried jicama (Chinese potato), Mushroom, Carrot, lettuce, and white flour! Both of these steamed buns were fluffy and full of flavor. Like little clouds from heaven above! Also, as we were waiting for our food to arrive, Hein brought us complementary tea and our own tea pot! Think it was a light Oolong tea, can you saw yum and relaxing?! Then our fresh dim sum arrived!! The steamed crab dim sum was delicious and almost reminded me of sushi because it had the seaweed, crab, shrimp, and pork. The "Shumai" steamed dim sum was fantastic as well. That included: wanton phee, fresh carrot, pork, and shrimp. Very light and full of flavor in each bite. I will be back for sure! I have been missing good ethnic foods since I moved to the burbs, and this place is so good. Have had takeout 3x now and have tried at least 12 dishes and everything is so good. This is the place to go for dim sum in Buffalo. Located in the Westside Bazaar, which is currently doing takeout only, as are all other restaurants. While most places make you wait 40 minutes, these guys have amazing dumplings ready in 10! My wife and I order a variety - 8 different dumplings plus a bao bun for each of us, and it's plenty of food for very little money - great value! read more

I'm so psyched when I saw dim sum menu. Unfortunately in a glance mostly it contains shrimp so a couple times we went to west side bazaar I just looked longingly at the stand. Today I was like ok we should looked closely and ordered something that has no shrimp! (I'm sensitive to shrimp, I wasn't always but ever since I came to US 15 years ago I started to develop issue, itched, cramped etc every time I ate a bit much of shrimp). I spotted the pao. Sold. We ordered char siu pao. We also got dark egg dim sum. Which turns out this also contained shrimp. So I tried to just eat the egg part and not much the mixture of dim sum that has shrimp in it. The egg has interesting taste and gelatinous texture. But it was really good. The dim sum part that I nibble is also very good. I wish it had no shrimp! I would eat them all... o well my lost is my bf gain lol. The pao is really awesome too. It was soft not doughy. The inside is pork an jicama. Very flavorful. I could eat and eat, that was how good is pao. I definitely will come back to get it again and I'll try the dumpling and other stuff with no shrimp on it. read more

This delicious place offering low cost dim sum is a small stand towards the back that's part of the West Side Bazaar. I had a steam pork bun, and two different types of dumplings (ha gao and 007 dumplings), which were all tasty. Compared to full dim sum restaurants I've been to there are fewer options (around 24), but still a great variety, focused most heavily on dumpling varieties. They accept credit cards and can do orders to go or eat in. If it gets busy you may have to wait a while, but the cashier will remember exactly who you are, even without a number on your table. It can be hard to fit a big group in the bazaar, so you may want to get it to go if that's your plan. Overall, great service and tasty food, which I would highly recommend. Its a decent place for take out. they offer a good assortment for two to three take out visits you'll then need a break to miss their flavors. The drink I had was clawingly sweet so had to toss. I love Bubble tea especially just straight tea not fruity or trendy flavors and it should be made from a good quality black tea and controlling the level of sweetness by using a simple syrup , of course giant pearls and ice and KAPOW awesome bubble tea. the powders throw the hell out when you can your not helping your business by selling an inferior product , patrons will know when your providing a great product. The dim sum I must say I've eaten at many dim sum restaurants and this doesn't make the top 5. Its still a good place to eat when in Hamburg there's such a limited ethnic restaurant selection. If you're looking for something authentic and delicious this is a low cost option for a Chinese dish most Americans haven't tried. They also have specials and, for those looking for something familiar, really good crab Rangoon. It's always very quick and easy to eat.
