Last visited a WHILE ago, so when I saw their April Fools post for 2025, Pizza Ice-cream sounded weird enough to try! It was $1 per scoop and the donations went towards an event for local veterans. Who could say no to that?? Lines were long, it was refreshing to see so many members of the community trying this ice cream and donating to the cause. It was cold but worth it. I got 3 scoops for my family and I and a store made cotton candy stick ice cream they had available for myself for just incase. Pizza ice cream was icky to me, but from the crowd watching, and my family's reaction, the taste and likeability was extremely mixed. The cotton candy bar was a refresher for after. And refresh it did! It was very yummy, and with their amazing customer service, and yummy flavors they have available, I WILL be back. read more

Family owned, family operated amazing gem in the village of Hamburg. Remind you of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Even has the chairs like Carvels used to have when we were kids. Okay SO GOOD. We stopped here after dinner, there's a reason there's always a line. I will absolutely be back. So many different ice cream options and you can't get any better than their home made options like monster mash or pumpkin pie. Stopped here just before Christmas to get some seasonal flavors for home.  Who can resist the sounds of Gingerbread Man and Eggnog, especially knowing that they are homemade?  Well since it was the week of Christmas, they had shortened hours and weren't open until the evening.  I figured I would shoot the owners a message via Facebook to see if there was any possibility of picking up in the afternoon the following day.  They quickly responded and told me to give them a call to see if I could set something up.  I ended up chatting with Randy, one of the owners, who gave me his phone number and told me to give him a call the next day when I was in town and he would make sure he was there.  How nice!  And sure enough, the next day, he had my pints of ice cream ready to go. And let me tell you, the flavors are spot-on.  I was surprised, but the eggnog ended up being my favorite.  I'm not even upset I didn't get actual eggnog this year, because the ice cream made up for it. There's an outdoor patio (of course, there has to be!) as the inside is a little too warm / stuffy on the hotter days. I ordered an "Almond Joy" sundae which was delicious with freshly chopped almonds and nuts and a topping of whipped cream and a cone on top. The vanilla soft-serve it came with was tasty, but all that chocolate syrup they put in there was overkill. I thoroughly enjoyed it though and ate every last bite. My friend ordered a milkshake and although I didn't try it, he assured me it was delightful. If I'm in the area, I'll be back, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to get here. read more

We are lucky to live close enough to walk to Main Street Ice Cream. It is our favorite place to go for ice cream! I love that they have specialty flavors throughout the season. My all time favorite has been carrot cake. They have all the traditional flavors as well as a lot of originals, like Key Lime Pie (another favorite!). They've been doing a great job during Covid keeping everyone safe by using their take out window and maintaining 6 feet distance while waiting in line. When we grabbed some ice cream here I found a huge unique selection of great frosty treats. One thing I didn't try, but stood out to me was the home made blueberry ice cream. I don't know why everyone's so disappointed that they serve Turkey Hill ice cream. They're not claiming to or trying to be an artisan ice cream stand (side note: if you're looking for that, try Lake Effect in Lockport; also excellent). They serve a great product, are fantastic people, love that their local, and do a few specials like fresh squeezed lemonade slushies (amazing!).
