Family owned, family operated amazing gem in the village of Hamburg. Remind you of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Even has the chairs like Carvels used to have when we were kids. The ice cream is delicious. They have many flavors custom novelties and more. We literally drive 40 minutes to come here for the molasses ice cream cookie. The family that owns. This is always friendly. It is clean and a asset to the community. Love the atmosphere of the people the prices are fair and the ice cream taste like ice cream. Five stars.

Love coming to this place to try all the different flavors. I tried the key lime and honey Lavender. Nice sized scoops and decently priced..

Some new additions to the menu, since my previous post include gluten free/ dairy free sandwiches, an oat milk variation which is vegan/ dairy free, Christmas in July flavors and Lavender Honey hard ice cream. This was the perfect way to cool off on a hot and sunny day.

I'm not embarassed to say that I've practically become a regular here. I had to up my review score because this place really does deserve a 5 out of 5. So many different ice cream options and you can't get any better than their home made options like monster mash or pumpkin pie. I also have to give them alot of credit for their home made dairy free options such as almond milk and oatmilk soft serve. I also love the doggy sundae that they offer for the puppers. This ice cream shop is by far the best in Hamburg and will continue to give them my service whenever I have a craving!

Stopped here just before Christmas to get some seasonal flavors for home.  Who can resist the sounds of Gingerbread Man and Eggnog, especially knowing that they are homemade?  Well since it was the week of Christmas, they had shortened hours and weren't open until the evening.  I figured I would shoot the owners a message via Facebook to see if there was any possibility of picking up in the afternoon the following day.  They quickly responded and told me to give them a call to see if I could set something up.  I ended up chatting with Randy, one of the owners, who gave me his phone number and told me to give him a call the next day when I was in town and he would make sure he was there.  How nice!  And sure enough, the next day, he had my pints of ice cream ready to go. And let me tell you, the flavors are spot-on.  I was surprised, but the eggnog ended up being my favorite.  I'm not even upset I didn't get actual eggnog this year, because the ice cream made up for it. Can't wait to try more seasonal flavors.

Enjoyed some ice cream today at Main Street Ice Cream in Hamburg, New York. Nice little shop on Main Street with really friendly service and great ice cream! There is seating inside or out and establishment was very clean. They have soft and hard ice cream and ready to go items and cakes as well. Very nice unexpected treat!

    ice cream cake sundae

I ordered the ice cream cake sundae and got a few bites into it before I remembered to take a picture! It tastes exactly like their ice cream cake. The service was very good and very fast. I love their outdoor seating options, it's great to sit and enjoy their ice cream.

We decided to stop here quickly but I'm so glad we did. They make the ice cream themselves and it took less than 5 minutes for both of our items to be out. They had seating outside as well as inside and you could also order from the outside. Very cute little place to stop by to fill your ice cream craving.

I loved this little place on my visit on the Fourth of July this year and I had to go with their specialty fourth of July ice-cream! My sundae came out super quick and it was colorful and tasty. The staff were very friendly and pricing was good as well. I love their location on Main Street and there are benches nearby to sit and watch people and traffic go by. A great little ice-cream stand and a nice part of summer!

Read about this place online so we packed up the kid and drove 20 minutes to come try it- definitely not disappointed! My son couldn't decide between literally every flavor so we got him a flight and narrowed it down to 4. I had the pretzel cone and it was delicious! We're already planning when to come back!

I'd never before seen sourdough croissants or cheese danishes; there's an abundance of gorgeous loaves/boules for sale. (Cheese fondue supplies! Yes!!). A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.

We went with the Uncle Papi, which can only be described as pizza and a fried chicken sandwich having a beautiful, messy love child. The chicken filet was impressively large, and the Sunday sauce? So good it would absolutely earn a seal of approval from my Italian grandma. The fries were plentiful, and while I regret not testing one of their fun dipping sauces, the house-made blue cheese did not disappoint. We also ordered the Messy Pressy (aka the poutine burger), and it lived up to its name in the best possible way. Delicious, indulgent, and led to a nap on the ride home. Already looking forward to coming back--and possibly making it a personal goal to work my way through every burger and sandwich on the menu. Those brunch burgs are calling my name, and I'm not ignoring them.

When we pulled into the parking lot, it was clear. We weren't the only ones that had heard about the sale. The line for the drive through window was out into the road and blocking traffic on a side street, so we opted to go in. The line inside was bursting the doors at the seams, but we squeezed in. It was around a half hour's wait before we got to the counter and ordered our two Blizzards. Small size, one chocolate brownie and one mint Oreo. I was not expecting such a small cup of ice cream to be $5, but good thing for the sale. The brownie Blizzard was delicious from what little I was given to taste. The Mint Oreo was very poorly mixed, although I tried not to judge given the length of the line and hectic pace of the workers. All the mint flavoring and green food color was left at the bottom of the cup (You can probably see how it's missing color in the photo). The result was a sugary vanilla-like flavor for most of the treat with a slight rush of mint at the end. I'm glad for the experience, I'll say that. And if you need an ice cream treat before the seasonal stands open, DQ is probably one of your few choices.
