The absolute WORST company! My husband purchased a large arrangement and received a small one. The company said they would resend the correct arrangement yesterday (6/15/24) but it was never received. The company actually LIED by sending an email stating the flowers were delivered when they weren't. We called and complained and they were sending another arrangement today (6/16/24). Guess what, we never received that arrangement either. They also LIED AGAIN by sending out an email stating the flowers were delivered. Tuner wanted to resend them again. We said absolutely NOT! I scheduled deliver for Mother's Day. The deliver was anywhere from Thursday to a latest delivery date of Sunday (Sunday being Mother's Day). On the last few hours of Sunday my Mom texted a sad face that she still hadn't received them. I message 1800flowers who told me it would be delivered by end of day. It wasn't. The next day they had no idea why and offered to give a 50% discount and redeliver...which is hilarious because they were never delivered in the first place, so not sure how "re" enters the equation. Ordered flowers for my mother/Mother's Day, to be delivered on the Friday before Mother's Day. Well, they weren't delivered on Friday, then when I called the Support Team, was told they were scheduled to be delivered on Saturday, which never happened. At the end of the day, again in touch with their Support team, they offered to reschedule the delivery with another florist for May 15th (3 days past Mother's Day!). At this point I just told them to cancel the order, and that I would never use them to order flowers from again. I ordered and paid $109.99 CAD plus $19.99 CAD service charge the "Fields of Europe Romance" extra large bouquet in a vase which was supposed to include various flowers and at least seven (7) long stem roses. The local florist affiliated to "1800flowers.com" delivered a bouquet with some miserable unopened or wilted flowers including ONLY three (3) small roses! Less than the small bouquet version which was supposed to include four (4) roses. To add insult to injury, the delivery person did not ring the bell and just left the flowers uncovered on my porch while the temperature outside was below freezing and the flowers froze/wilted by the time I opened my door a few hours later. read more

The only solution they have (which was confirmed by two customer reps) was to compensate 50% of the cost and to give you a $20 company credit. So you loose money for someone else's fault. I had the worst possible experience with 1800Flowers in NYC, New York (they refused to give their exact location but they were close to the Bronx)! I ordered flowers for a relative's funeral that were to be delivered to a funeral home one day before funeral services at a church. Everything was fine, until received a voicemail from 1800Flowers at 3:00PM on the day the flowers were to be delivered. I called them back and they said they had to substitute some of the original flowers. I gave them permission to do this. Then, two hours later, I received an email from 1800Flowers saying they couldn't deliver the flowers. I frantically called them to find out what happened and their agent said they couldn't deliver because the funeral home wouldn't accept the flowers. The story sounded fishy, so I contacted the funeral home and they said this wasn't true. So I was left scrambling to find a flower shop still open at 6:00PM that could deliver flowers, this time directly to the church for the funeral. I was not able to find another flower shop that could fulfill my order that late in the day. So, I had to wait until the next day, and I was stuck with 1800Flowers. I called them at 9:00AM and I got yet ANOTHER excuse for not delivering the flowers. They finally admitted that the original flower shop THEY PICKED couldn't fulfill the order because the funeral home was outside their delivery range! They offered to send flowers directly to the church, but couldn't guarantee they'd get there in time for funeral services. I was livid! My relatives received the flowers four hours after the scheduled start time of the funeral services. They sent me a photo of it. The card, which was supposed to go with the flowers, was nothing more than a post-it note pinned to the basket of the flower container with the card's original message. This was a card I payed for and the total cost for the card and the flowers was over $100, TERRIBLE! It looked nothing like the picture on the website. Throughout this entire stressful experience, I received absolutely horrific customer service. Don't use 1800Flowers for a funeral, they're terrible.
