I've placed two order with 1-800 over the past few months and neither of them went as hoped. Order #1 I purchased a large bouquet in a vase and what was sent was a small one. They agreed to discount the order lieu of sending the proper size. Order #2 My order was to be delivered on a specific day and I paid to have it delivered between 9-12. I was notified that it had been delivered - when it actually had not. It took me two calls to get this issue resolved and then the flowers ended up being delivered late. I will never use this service again as I find them unreliable. I don't want my money back every time something goes wrong. I dont want things to go wrong when it comes to sending flowers. read more

I was utterly disgusted on the delivery, it was left in a pile of snow, roses were droopy and it was in a plain glass vase which is not what i paid for. No knock on the door, nothing. Within the first day the roses were dying. Today they are totally dead. Didn't even make it to Valentine's day which I might add, I received an email saying it was going to arrive on Valentine's day. Everything was ruined. I'll never order from this place again. I got a FULL REFUND as I should. Worst company to buy flowers from! If you have a local flower company that can deliver to that special person or just deliver in general.... use them! My girlfriend isn't at the same office everyday and today I had an order to the specific office that she was at. They said they would be delivered tomorrow instead of today! After about 2 hours of calling back and forth they delivered them to her.. Luckily she remembered the name of the local flower shop they used to deliver the flowers so in the future I will use them to order them. I called and requested a full refund and after an hour of waiting for a supervisor, I got the refund. I'm still waiting for it to go back to my bank account. 1 star is too nice. Terrible experience. I ordered a fruit bouquet for my mother's birthday and the bouquet never arrived. I was never notified. When I called in, I was advised there was "still 5 hours remaining in the day for the delivery". It was never delivered. I called back the next day and was promised that the delivery would go out that day. It didn't and I wasn't notified. A few days passed and still no delivery or any communication. I called back and was advised they could give me a partial refund and have it resent. Over a week later and still no delivery or any notification. I called back and was advised they could send a fruit basket but they couldn't give me a refund. That was the only solution...a big basket of fruit that I could have prepared myself from my local grocery store. I'm in disbelief that a company that prides themselves on connecting with loves ones, doesn't want to assist me with a gift for my mother's birthday after they made multiple errors. This is not my first experience having issues with 1-800-Flowers or their affiliates. But this will be my last. I will not overpay for arrangements from any of the affiliate companies if this is their policy/procedure on correcting their mistakes. Wasn't even close to the original picture portrayed and normally I wouldn't even mind if I wasn't paying $97 for a relatively small arrangement. 1800 Flowers needs to be shut down. On four occasions, they failed to deliver my mother's flowers. They did it on Mother Day & her Birthday recently. The CEO of 1800 flowers has cunning & manipulative business practices as well. When you call, you get an automated message from an "American CEO" but the entire customer service center is filled with foreign workers that work 24 hours a day. They offshored these jobs overseas. They pay the workers less and they' know English isn't their primary language so its easier for them to give robotic responses. This also makes it easier for them to tell you what they think you want to hear. As of result of this, you place an order to be delivered on a certain day, 1800 flowers is not reliable. As a matter of fact, the CEO of this company is running an inept business and anyone considering getting anything for loved ones, find another service. On 3 occassions out of approximately 5 (that's 60%), the flowers delivered were wilted and, quite honestly, embarrassing. 800 Flowers did give me a partial refund, but the birthday for my recipient was spoiled. And only one arrived the day of the service and I was on the phone with customer service for almost 4 hours (DURING HER SERVICE) and they couldn't even tell me where the second flower was. I received an email at 3pm that the birthday flowers I ordered for a friend were delivered on Saturday but they never were. When I called 1-800-FLOWERS, I was told to wait until 8 pm for delivery, at 11pm still no flowers. When I called back on Sunday, I was told they couldn't be delivered until Monday, NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! Our daughter moved to Colorado from NJ and my husband wanted to send her a fruit bouquet for Valentine's Day I placed the order 2/6/25 to be delivered 2/12/25, I figured they would be super busy so I would have it delivered to her job a couple days early. I was tracking the order, called several times and was assured it would be there before 4. The order did not arrive, I called again and they said 4:30, still didn't arrive. She waited until 5:30, as I am arguing with them on the phone, and they tell me their policy is they deliver to businesses until 6. I again told them when I placed the order and when I called I was assured they could deliver it by 4. They finally deliver it on 2/12 but didn't deliver it to my daughter since she was gone and her office was closed. I called again, they tell me they will send out a replacement 2/13 which I agreed to but told them I needed it to be delivered by 3:30 and again they assured me it would be there and again the same thing happened. I had a conversation through text and over the phone and was fed nothing but empty promises. Valentine's Day was totally sabotaged by this company. I placed my $500.00 order 3 days in advance just to be sure it would be delivered on time which was supposed to be TODAY FEB 14TH by 1 p.m . I confirmed this by speaking with a representative as soon as I placed the order. Not only was the order NOT delivered but no one knows when it WILL BE. At this point, it's not about the money, it's about today's planned memory that I'll NEVER get back. When consumers such as myself choose a company to spend their hard earned money with, we expect quality merch as well as quality service, which I received neither. The only thing this company did was IMMEDIATELY remove funds from my account without hesitation, however as of this time right now at 10:30 pm, THEY STILL CANNOT TELL ME WHERE MY ORDER IS OR WHEN IT WILL BE DELIVERED! Paid $100 to get this bouquet delivered the same day. Instead of large yellow roses, baby roses were included. I contacted them and they said it will be redelivered but only the next day. The next day nothing was delivered but I received a message that marked everything as complete order. I contacted them again and they said it will be redelivered and I will received an upgraded, larger bouquet with more flowers. The next day came a bouquet had like 4 flowers and the decorative flowers around it were already dying.
