This place is dope. There's plenty of food options to choose from and the music that night was amazing, we immediately got up and moved towards the Dj outside after we ate. We came in a group and got a bunch of stuff to share, dim sum, boa buns, sushi and cocktails. There was definitely more, but those are the highlights. This place gets packed at night, we were lucky to get tables at 8ish and they were clearing room for a dance floor not long after we ate and went outside to the bar. Probably more 3 1/2 star. So I finally got around to visiting lucky. All my foodie friends had gone and raved so hard about how good the food was here. I ordered the ramen which for the life of me I cannot remember the exact name of it now, shiro something or other. And the pork bao buns. The ramen was good but not great. And the buns were really good but they had very little meat in them. We were a group of 6 and got there around 7 just before it filled up. There isn't a lot of seating and some people were simply just sitting there so going earlier is probably better if you want to really enjoy the food. I tried this place the last time I was in Miami and I'm so glad I did! I love cute, novelty experiences and luckily this went above and beyond that. Not only was this ice cream treat adorable, it was super yummy too! I'm a big fan of matcha anything and the matcha flavor in the ice cream came through without being too strong and the texture was super smooth and creamy. The taiyaki base was also delicious and the red bean paste at the bottom was a nice finishing touch. Sunday nights is an awesome party under Roger Sanchez and run by some amazing people. The sound system is great, a good group of people and bopping house music. Drink prices are a little higher, but they have a good array of beers, sake and liquor drinks. Drinking anywhere in Miami is outrageous, so one or two and I'm good. Day times are also fun and I always stop by with out of town guests. There are five food "stands" specializing in various Asian food. I've had the vegetarian lo mein, veggie dumplings, veggie egg rolls, and black bean sauce noodles. The food is well priced with most veggie dishes under $12. Full flavored and with tons of tofu and vegetables. I can't wait to try rge ramen and more. To finish you off there is an ice cream spot by the door. But in this particular area of Wynwood, it reminds me of a food court at the mall just a little more foreign looking. They have ramen, poke bowls, dim sum and plenty of restaurants to try. We came here just for ice cream though. Everywhere around this market place has plenty of puns to describe their food items or just simple expressions. We went to get the Taiyaki cone which is super popular and filled with red bean. I got the matcha better which was matcha green tea ice cream with rainbow mochi and strawberry syrup. The matcha was super strong in taste and the mochi was alright. The cone wasn't too chewy or dry which was nice but overall a great addition to the area especially during a hot sunny day! This place is a big hit or miss. Usually a hit. There's a couple components to this place: the club, the bar, the food, and record store. I'll start with it as a club: The dancing begins around 10pm outside and 12am inside. It is mostly an outdoor club as they close the inside around 2 AM and only allow people in to use the bathroom. sometimes the music is great and sometimes it's just techno that I can't really dance to, I suggest checking their Instagram to see what DJs are playing that night. There's NO COVER FEE and rarely a line, which is really good if youre just looking for somewhere to dance in wynwood. Be warned though- they pick up all the chairs at 1am and after that, there will be nowhere to sit unless you want to pay for a VIP couch. As a bar: The drinks are average price for Wynwood and honestly not that strong. I typically like anything sweet or something like a Moscow Mule (for reference), they don't really serve many custom drinks for that, but they do have sake. The bar is both inside and outside but they close the inside one along with the entire inside as the night goes on. there is an outside bar but it's usually very crowded and I typically wait about seven minutes to order a drink. Cash is not accepted. the food: i've included pictures of some of the things I eat, but I typically now have a regular. There's a great dumpling spot in there where my favorite is the pork soup dumplings, they're a bit expensive at $7 for 3, but they're delicious! I recommend if only to try for the first time. The thai iced tea is way too sweet though, definitely skip that. The Poke Bowl place ( in the middle) is a bit overpriced but they give a good amount and the ingredients taste very fresh. They are also the last food place to close. The fried rice place is DELICIOUS, i recommend the fried rice or noodles of any kind- very filling. Even the pork buns are good. I dont care for the ramen place very much though. Ice cream place is really good, but they barely add the toppings, the only flavors are vanilla (delicious), matcha (way too strong and bitter), and black sesame. The mini mochi are just gummies- dont bother with it. i HIGHLY recommend getting the fish cone in a cup so it doesnt drip all over you, but u can still enjoy the delicious bean filling. record store: they sell pretty cool t-shirts of 1800 there, and some interesting japanese style drinks. not many records are there in all honesty and they weirdly sell socks too. So I came to 1-800 on my birthday last week, and Wow! I've been longing to come here for so long and it was totally worth it. They have a sushi bar, Fried rice station, Ramen station, Dumplings station, and two bars one inside and outside. The place is super cute I'm obsessed with the decoration and the music was nice as well, shout out to the DJ. We ordered the sushi I believe it was Totoro that comes with mushroom on top and inside I believe it came with cooked Tuna inside (Pictured to the right). I ordered the Salmon shrimp that came with cooked salmon avocado, and fried pieces of shrimp. Both were outstanding and delicious. By the far the best sushi I've had. We also got the fried pork dumplings that were delicious as well! Loved the sauces as well, even though they're an extra charge but totally worth it! Huge, chill, hip spot that is perfect for getting sweet and savory bites to eat (I had the cotton candy soft serve on the fish cone and loved it) - we also tried soup dumplings, fried shrimp balls, duck bao and a shrimp and avocado toast. Duck bao and fried shrimp balls with chili sauce was meh. Avocado toast was the best - my fiance liked the soup dumplings. And as previously mentioned I loved the ice cream. There's inside and outside seating and depending on the time of day, it might be harder to find a place to sit. There's a long bar area in the back where you can order a range of craft beers on draft to regular cocktails. Music is usually played in the open air courtyard--sometimes they have live music, sometimes they have a DJ. One of my favorite things about 1-800-lucky is the tayuki ice cream shop. I would save some room for dessert while you're there. Food: Myumi: has great sushi options and for the most part are reasonably priced. I recommend the crispy shrimp roll. The duck buns are great too-- and you get 4 per order. Service: On a busy day/night, service might be a bit slow but for the most part service is good. During my visit there was a Filipino food stand here and I was able to enjoy some sizzling sisig (pork belly). It was served with a side of garlic fried rice. Would've liked more rice but it ended up being a good portion size. Sat at the bar with a friend and chowed down. I think he had some ramen. We had a couple of beers each and just people watched. Lots going on that night. A birthday and a group of tourists were the main attractions for the night (not sure if they knew). Parking...good luck. And wait times get heavy on weekends especially so plan ahead or have several backups in mind when coming here as they don't do call aheads or reservations. Not sure about group dining though. Honestly I don't get all the raving reviews about this place. Really nothing special. The place is pretty small, it's only about 5 vendors offering very limited selection of items. Prices seem cheap but also portions are pretty small, in order for you to have a meal, you'll have to order a lot of those little dishes. The food is mediocre really, a lot of dishes we're lacking seasoning. We had duck bao buns and they were very underwhelming, duck was cooked nicely but was very bland, no salt whatsoever. Shrimp bao buns were the opposite, very spicy and there was no warning on a menu about spice, also a fried shrimp that is covered in batter had tail shell still on. So expect to bite into a sharp shrimp shell when u take a bite of ur bao bun. We also had dim sum. The dumplings were tasty but they didn't come with any dipping sauce, so they felt a bit dry. The music was nice, but it was loud, I mean night club at 1 am loud. I didn't really get why does it have to be that loud on Sunday at 7 pm. Overall this place might be more appealing to a very young crowd, if you're over 25 - skip it. read more

1-800-Lucky is a gem in Wynwood, Miami. It has some of the best food options and it's perfect setup gives the vibes of food stalls and how they are when traveling and eating in certain parts of Asia. When you first visit 1-800-Lucky you don't have the expectations of getting good there. It's adjacent to a record store and usually has a live DJ playing all the jams while you kick it with your friends. This place is great for groups although it may be a bit on the louder side. They have two bars, one inside and one outside. It does take a minute or two to get attention from the bartenders but it's a pretty lively place at all times. I was craving ramen and hand rolls so I ordered from two different places. The hand rolls were only alright and shaped like egg rolls rather than the normal cone shape. For $7 per hand roll I wouldn't recommend it unless you just wanted to taste something. The ramen I ordered made up for it though. I got a spicy miso ramen and the only downfall was that the pork belly was a bit over cooked making it tougher than it should be to eat. But the noodles were al dente making every bite even better. I wish I wasn't so full (this happens to me everywhere) because I couldn't finish my entire ice cream. So tasty though! read more

The room is small, therefore very noisy. But when you go to this type of place, it is assumed that there will be a noisy atmosphere. There is also open-air where parties are held on weekends. We didn't get on it, but following the video and reviews, the parties are noisy and crowded - and it is awesome! I have already been to similar markets in New York, where they are much larger, there is a wider choice of food, but there are also shops there.
