Pretty good pizza-kind of New Yorkish with the this crust and lots of cheese. Pricey though.

I saw a few reviews complaining about the wings, and honestly, I don't get it. Their wings are made with organic, hormone-free chicken, and they're absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and the difference compared to typical frozen wings. I love supporting small businesses, especially ones that put this much effort into their food and customer service. If you're in Buckeye and haven't tried Argentos Pizza yet, you're missing out. Keep up the great work!

I have been looking forward to checking out their pizza…read more The pizza was super fresh and very hot when brought to the table yet, there were chunks of frozen basil on it. Kind of odd. The crust was delish - hard yet the tips were droopy - that's a beautiful job - as a NYer we look for that in a pizza. It was tasty. I did order a cannoli when I ordered my pizza. When we were ready to leave, I went up to get a box and asked if my Canoli was ready and she said "I will make it now" This isn't a sit down order at the table kind of place. From here I was sitting, I was able to watch the gals just chit chatting - I think she forgot. Not a big deal. I ended up taking it to go. Had a bite when we got home, that was yummy. Pizza is tasty would I drive back down to our downtown for it? Probably not. Glad I was able to try it. Like I said "it was tasty"

The food is great, but the people are the reason we keep coming back. Makayla, Jocelyn, and Khya are absolute rockstars. They've taken care of our team through crazy workdays, emergency cases, celebrations, and everything in between. At this point, they're not just servers--they're part-time therapists, life coaches, and friends. They always remember us, make us feel welcome, and somehow know exactly what kind of day we've had before we even sit down. And a huge shoutout to Derek behind the bar for making the best micheladas around. I've had a lot of micheladas, and I always end up comparing them to Derek's. Nobody does them better. What I love most about Tailgaters is that it feels like a place where people genuinely care. Whether we're grabbing a quick lunch, stopping in after a long surgery day, or getting the team together after work, we're always welcomed like regulars. As a business owner, I know how hard it is to find and keep great employees, and Tailgaters has some of the best. Good food is easy to find. Great people are not. The staff here is what makes this place special. One very important request: PLEASE bring back the buffalo chicken dip. Some of us are still grieving that loss. From all of us at the vet hospital across the street, thank you for always taking such great care of us. We're lucky to have you as neighbors. P.S. Give Makayla, Jocelyn, Khya, and Derek a raise. And bring back the buffalo chicken dip.

My wife was out of town so I decided to try Arizona Pizza Company. I was skeptical but the price seemed reasonable so I decided what the heck. The pizza was delivered by Uber Eats and it was still warm which is unusual for them. The pizza was actually delicious. Plenty of toppings, not slopped in sauce and actually cut all the way through. The cheese was really good as well. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

When I gave my name at the counter, the young lady told me they were working on a huge order and that my pizzas would be another three minutes. My order was not ready until 11:37. I understand large orders happen, but customers who place orders in advance should still be valued and accommodated. What disappointed me most was that no effort was made to acknowledge the inconvenience. A simple apology or even offering a soda while I waited would have gone a long way toward good customer service. Instead, the manager seemed focused only on the large order and not the customers who were also waiting. To be honest, I already find the pizzas mediocre, and the only reason I chose AZ Pizza instead of Barro's Pizza was because it was what my coworker wanted. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed that I will not be returning.

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.

World-class pizza in AZ!…read more I have traveled the world and had many Pizzas, and this is hands-down one of the best pizza places I've ever experienced. Tucked away in the Westgate Mall, it's a compact, modern little spot that likely gets buzzing during the lunch hour.
