I stopped into Don's NY Pizza for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating. I ordered two oversized slices, one cheese and one pepperoni. The pizza was above average. The pepperoni had great flavor. Though I did prefer the simplicity and flavor of the cheese pizza. The service was friendly and my order came out quickly, making it an easy lunch spot. I also appreciated being able to see the fresh pizzas displayed behind the counter, which made choosing a slice simple. If you're looking for a casual place with generous portions, good value, and solid New York-style pizza, Don's is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to try one of their specialty slices next time. read more

Absolutely fantastic pizza joint near State Farm Stadium. This family owned small business has been throwing down pizzas at this location since 2016. With authentic pizza and pasta dishes learned in Italy, to hot wings learned in Buffalo, Don's brings us delicious favorites at an affordable price. We routinely frequent this location. This location has the best pizza this side of the valley!! They're New Yorkers and use real cheese which is key to any pizza item. Price is reasonable and the service is mediocre. I definitely recommend them for some delicious food. If you want to order by the slice know the pizza is not freshly made. Twice, they delivered product to the house and it is not right. I called a third time about no wing sauce, I ordered at 5:28pm it is now 7:51pm and they still didn't make it right. I am not picky I just would like to be treated fairly. By the way the pizza tastes great but the drivers are out of control. It is 7:55PM AND STILL NO SAUCE FOR THE WINGS...... This is our go to spot between me and my wife. They have a pretty good special for a large pizza and 20 wings. Pizza is usually good and the crust is usually crispy. There have been some times where the wings have been dry and they don't put enough sauce on them I know prices have been creeping up but the price for a large pizza and wings after tip is about $55 they used to be around $35, so we don't get a chance to eat out there as much read more

This location didn't offer online ordering but they were really kind over the phone. We were one of the last orders of the night and everything came out fresh and hot. The pasta was quite flavorful! The rolls were a hit and fries just needed a sprinkle of salt. Pizza itself was alright. Mozzarella sticks were super yummy. Had ordered a calzone and got all the way home to realize it was missing. They didn't know how to credit or adjust the transaction and offered for me to drive back the next day - but it was too far. Family ordered pick up for our Friday night, we got a medium half and half, some wings and some garlic knots. The pizza was fantastic, the knots were great and the wings were perfect, also the ranch was soo good. It was super clean when we walked in. I work at a small company about a mile north of this excellent pizza place. We have roughly 40 staff at our location and I purchase salads and 4-5 large pizza's every couple months from Don's. Excellent pizza and at a great price. Salad's are large and very good. They have a two large slice and drink special for $8 or so. Should be priced at $10 to $12. Outstanding value. Almost no downside at Don's... Really solid shop, easily a 5. read more

My partner and I are from NY so finding comparable pizza in Phoenix has been a challenge. Don's is the closest thing to legit NY pizza in the Valley! Stopped by today for a quick lunch, wanted to try the Special. Not many customers at 1:30, so I was helped immediately. Chose the slice, salad and it came with a drink, all for $7.75, hellova deal. The salad was great, lots of different bits of things all tasty. The pepperoni slice was a little over cooked but considering it had probably been sitting for awhile, it was a good slice of NY style pizza. Nothing was really outstanding, but it was a solid, good, reasonably priced lunch. I imagine that the pizza is better the first time it is cooked and not reheated, so I give it an A read more

New old fashioned pizza joint. Tucked on the side of a Home Depot (also a first for me. I've only seen HD stores as true stand alone buildings and there are a few other storefronts under the same roof, on the left on the building) The full menu easily satisfied my foursome. Pricing was ideal from my POV. $50 and change for an 18" pizza, 20 BBQ wings and a large garden salad. I was so excited to try this after the mixed reviews ! YES THE PIZZA IS REALLY SOGGY AND GREASY. For some folks that's good authentic pizza but idk lol . The pizza lacked sauce, heavy on the cheese and they didn't bake it long (- after I specified well done because of reviews ) The wings were good but also on the soggy side (asked for those well done too ‍) They seem like an old head New Yorker stuck in how they make their pizza. But also the special was supposed to be $20.95 and we ended up paying $31.67 So overall in between them not listening to my order , everything being soggy and the price difference I'm not satisfied. Everything looked really nice presentation-wise. Next time, I'd probably ask for the syrup on the side with the French toast and skip the bacon on the egg sandwich. My husband called and complained about the pizza we ordered. It was a large pepperoni with extra cheese. We did not get the extra cheese and barely any pepperoni on it and it was not hot! Instead of the Manager listening to my husband he argued with him and did not want to take care of the issue. It looked like it was a leftover pizza that you would use for single slices . So far I like this pizza the best since moving here. I've lived in NY and visited Italy. I've ordered from here a few times. I had the pepperoni and the supreme. Positive: They have the good sausage not the Italian sausage most pizza places have. Negatives: It's just a little too greasy. Wings aren't that good. Taste like the frozen ones.
