Anyway, I have had a stream of bad luck with my windshield in the past few months. I first cracked it when a small rock hit my windshield and SafeLite came to fix it the first time around. THEN fast forward a few months later to this week and a HUGE rock hit my windshield on the highway and cracked it from top to bottom. Obviously I had to get it replaced. I called Wilberto and he responded right away! I was able to get my windshield replaced in TWO DAYS. That's insane!! Safe Lite didn't have an opening for two weeks and I had to drive to Tampa this weekend and needed help ASAP. I'm so glad I found Wilberto because WL Auto Glass is so close to me with fantastic service! They do offer coming to your house, but since I live in an apartment complex I had to drop my car off. For my car to recalibrate my windshield sensors you need like 50 feet of space which obviously a complex doesn't have. I dropped it off and it was done in less than 2 hours. I am extremely pleased. My old windshield had tint and Wilberto doesn't do it, but he referred me to a place nearby as well and provided instructions to me not to wash my windshield or remove the stickers for the next 24 hours. God forbid if my windshield ever gets cracked again I know who to call!!

The young man that took my information was told that I needed brakes, shocks, and flushing of all fluids which would cost well over a thousand dollars. I refused and said just fix the mount please. It was about 20 min later, the manager came over and said that I needed brakes and the shocks were all 90% gone front and back. I refused again and said just fix the mount. The 3rd time, the manager took me to the service department. The mechanic had all the wheels off, and the manager then said, "Legally maam I have to show you the brakes and that you badly need brakes. I cannot be legally liable if you get in an accident." He scared me so bad, that I said just do the front ones. He said he would take $100 off if I had all of them done. I said ok if it's really that bad. He then gave me a bill of $900.00 with an itemized list of all the things wrong with this car. I then took my car to another establishment to see if in fact I do need shocks. The new establishment (Mr. Carburetor) on Pipken, said absolutely not. Your shocks are fine. Does Mavis in Lakeland do this to everyone that is a senior. Scare them to death to do mechanical work? Jumped it, barely stayed running, sounded terrible. I said maybe its tbe ECU unit. Boss said " I don't think its your ECU" So, I ordered an ECU. When it shipped to me I took ot up there and changed it out, jumped my car, it fired right up. Here a week later...my car is spitting sputtering, misfiring...gotta be either spark plugs or fuel injectors. But I just had that done I THINK.
