I needed my new 70" inch TV wall mounted, he seemed very knowledgeable so I asked how soon he could do it. Keep in mind that this was mid-day Saturday that I called, he scheduled me in for Sunday, the next day. He showed up on time. No wires showing, that was the biggest deal for me and he did an excellent job and even reinforced my existing wall mount so it could handle the bigger TV. We had a terrible,unprofessional and extremely concerning experience with Joe . He installed our tv and a few minutes later it fell to the ground and broke and he refuses to fix it. We called him to install a 75 inch tv on a wall mount . He came with his assistant Max who was very professional . However Joe left for a good hour or so in the middle of the job leaving his assistant and my husband and I to just wait around. I wish that is all that happened. When Joe returned he installed the mount for the tv on the wall, my husband asked him to install the mount in the wall studs but Joe said that he knew what he was doing and installed the wall mount and put the tv on it. Then he left again and said his assistant would clean up. Not 10 minutes later after Joe left the wall mount fell off the wall and the tv crashed to the ground at the feet of his assistant. The tv cracked and broke and is completely ruined and the wall is damaged too and needs repair. We called Joe and he said he would come by Monday . On Monday we received this text from Joe: "Does not seem like we're on the same page. I correctly installed the mount to your drywall with hardware rated well over the weight of your tv. I think it would be best for you to complete this project with someone else. " My husband asked him if he would come back and make it right but he refused. He said our drywall was old. Really?? Unbelievable! So now Joe has refused to accept any responsibility for the damage he caused to our wall nor will he replace our 75 " TV. Unethical company , buyer beware. This is in response to Joe's comment below. It is interesting that Joe says that he didn't install the tv. It crashed to the ground at the feet of his assistant 10 minutes after Joe left. We told him we didn't mind if the tv was off center as long as it could be in a wall stud. Joe said it would be fine but obviously it was not . Joe quoted us $400 for the job which we agreed to. It cost us $1000 to replace the tv and we are currently getting estimates for repairing the damage he did to the wall. We took down the other tv and are waiting for it to be professionally installed instead of waiting for that one to crash down too. At this point we are out several hundred dollars and Joe has no insurance or a bond . Photos don't lie but unfortunately some people do. read more

We got a new flat screen TV for Christmas and needed to swap out our 15 year old flat screen. I wanted someone who could do more than just hang a TV in case there were any problems installing my cable/sound system. I chose 1 Stop. I give them three stars since they scheduled us for the next day, arrived on time (with one minute to spare) and hung the TV. That's it! Apparently the connections from my equally old sound system were no longer accepted by the new TV. I'll just have to live with the TV speakers for any apps. No suggestions or solutions offered. Next, the HDMI cable would not reach the new TV. They did not have a extension in the truck. The solution was...Sorry, I can't help you! Get one yourself and see if that works. So I spent the better part of today buying and installing what I needed. Thank God I got the Directv up but I'm not sure it's working properly. Not sure why, but I paid the confirmed price anyway. I had a 86" inch TV mounted on our bedroom wall, with all the wires hidden in the walls for a clean look. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work performed by 1 Stop AV. They sent 2 guys to do the job, which included creating a new outlet behind the TV. I appreciate how quickly they worked, and I did not have to lift a finger. The only reason I am deducting 1 star is because they failed to show up on the day of the appointment, and I had to call and text to get an update after the fact. I understand that appointments can run late, but it would have been nice if they had let me know instead of me wondering what's going on and having to chase up on them myself. read more

We had a relatively complicated setup involving mounting an 85" TV, dismount an old plasma TV which the mount itself was broken, and remount the plasma TV at a new location. Communication was quick and straight forward. Joe et al were very professional. Apparently they have done trade shows / concerts in the past thus have mount / dismount a lot of displays. The dismounting problem I've encountered was quickly resolved by them. Everything including cable concealment was complete without a hitch. We are very happy with the result. Joe and his partner came by to install a Samsung frame tv, and the work performed to wall mount it was fine (therefore not 1 star). They're quick and efficient (30 minutes in and out), but my complaint is with his bait and switch quote. He offered a fair quote similar to others and happened to be available on the same day, so I asked him to come by. I have multiple messages requesting conduit for the wire to be behind my drywall since the Samsung one connect wires are not rated to be in the wall, and he agreed to it through messages twice. I should've been more diligent when they were installing it, but I realized after the installation that he didn't use any conduit. When I followed up with him about it, he said conduit would cost extra and would be a lot more work. After confirming twice over messages, there's no way he didn't understand my original request and instead just did a quicker job that doesn't pass code. I asked him if he could come back, but he said he'd have to charge more. Very disappointed. read more

Don't book these guys. The service tech that came out friendly and respectful, the manager Joe was a nightmare. First off this is an orange county-based company, I requested them to come out to corona right off of the 91 freeway which is barely past Yorba Linda. Unfortunately there were some issues with the studs and the fire block behind my drywall. I don't have x-ray vision, I cannot for-see this and I requested for them to come out the next day again after I purchased a different box that fit right in order to house a one connect unit. Joe wanted to charge me again $125 for a trip fee which is nuts. I respectfully declined and canceled the job all together as nothing had been done. Joe then began to cuss at me and told me "You're going to pull this SHIT." If he would of worked with me or discounted the second trip fee he would still have a loyal customer for many years to come. Unfortunately he now has a bad review and hopefully anyone reading this will stay away from this guy...he is a live wire. I can't wait what excuse he will respond with or maybe even flat out deny cussing at me lol. UPDATE: you say 75% of the install was done? How about this. NOTHING WAS DONE. Just the discovery of a fire block in my drywall ...want pictures? This guy told his worker to cut a recess box in half and shove it in the wall to house our one connect box behind the TV. That was a sloppy suggestion, I am sorry having some courtesy for your customers wishes is too much to ask for you. I can post pictures, nothing was done. But go ahead keep lying man. I had requested for installation of Klipsch home theater system. They did install the system, however, they did not connect the system appropriately, Joe mixed the Dolby to the surround system and in-ceiling speakers never turned on, I redid the entire connect all over again, and it works good now. They also did not calibrate the system correctly, I did this all over again. I usually don't provide negative feedback, however, I called the installer Joe within 5min of them leaving my place to ask them few questions but they never returned my call. I called almost like 10 times but did not hear back from them, hence the review. read more

Booked an opening the next day; they arrived exactly on time, wore the appropriate masks, and promptly got to work. Friendly service, quick, and very fairly priced.
