They charge you a hook and tow fee of a minimum $300, then they charge you a per minute to hook your vehicle. Once picking up your vehicle, you don't know which door of the maze of fake dealerships and tow companies within the building. Then you trip over the 5 potholes to get to the stairway of the building, in which it's not ADA compliant. read more

Driver named Larry ran my car on the curb and scratched the car. After asking for compensation the driver told me there has been previous damage on the vehicle. I called in to the company and the dispatcher would not give any information on how to reach to the manager and even told me the driver Larry was the owner which is a lie. I asked Larry for the pictures taken before towing the car so that way we can compare the damages and still have not received a response. read more

Mother in laws vehicle was towed by Sac P.D. after she was taken by ambulance. We called 1 Stop about removing the vehicle. The vehicle hadn't even arrived at the yard and the guy was questioning what insurance it had. I asked him to just give me the total to remove and he said "give me $400 and the title to the car and we'll settle. I asked if we could tow it the following day, Saturday. Of course they are open but since it's the weekend there is a gate fee as well. He said call tomorrow and we'll get the vehicle out of the yard to tow out. After that they didn't answer our calls and waited for Monday to answer in order to increase the fees. Got the car towed out and at a body shop while we deal with insurance because these guys are SHADY. read more

Terrible customer service. Lied about arrival time and claimed they had only dispatched ten minutes ago when I had a notification that they had been dispatched forty minutes ago. Was supposed to arrive around 12:59 or is now 1:45 and no one has showed up. When I called to check up, the woman on the line said "fine I'll cancel the order" and hung up on me. Hector came to my rescue the other day after my car was vandalized. His kindness and upbeat attitude helped turn an awful situation into one that was somewhat bearable. If i could give them 0 stars, I would. Our Volvo had a flat tire, and we got assigned to 1Stop towing. Hector arrived and started demanding us for more than what he got from Volvo. Volvo tried to contact him, and he hung up on them. We were left stranded 150 miles away from home. I will report a consumer compliant for trying to cheat customers. read more

Hector called me prior to arriving to let me know he was on his way and gave me an ETA. He came promptly and reassured me that his tow truck would be capable of towing our sprinter van which needed to be flatbed towed to avoid further damage to the rear differential. Any concerns I had vanished when he told me exactly where he was securing (by the main frame and not by the engine or subframe etc) the van to the flatbed. He even measured the total height of the van + flatbed to figure out if we would fit under bridges/passes in the freeway and reassured me by letting me know he was going to take an earlier exit via surface streets in order to avoid any bridges just to be completely safe. We arrived safely to the repair shop. Throughout the whole process Hector was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. I would absolutely recommend him again if I am ever need of a tow for the sprinter van . I had called several tow companies prior to Hector and a lot of them let me know they were unable to tow the sprinter due to the size (10 ft tall, 19 ft long) and weight (10,000lb) of the vehicle . How roadside assistance work for insurance companies is like getting an Uber. They outsource the towing company. The job was dispatched to this company & the wait was about 90 minutes. As time progressed, the wait take got shorter & shorter & stopped around the 20 minute mark. Then jumped back to 60 minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt & thought maybe something happened. I continued to check the ETA every 5 mins & it was getting closer & closer. Again it stopped at the 20 min mark. I called the insurance company & they said the towing company noted that they tried calling me and canceled the service. Bull****. I picked up every spam call that came thru, in which I never do. No one from this company called me & If they did, why didn't they leave a voicemail? Anyway just like the other reviewer stated, if your insurance dispatches to this company, get another towing company immediately. They're NOT RELIABLE. And to 1-stop towing, if you're reading this, you suck. What if I was really stranded on the freeway & you did this. If you don't have any compassion on why people need you, get out of this business.
