They don't take you to your doctor's appointments they say they don't know how to use GPS. But the office is down the street. They make it hard to stay clean and recover. Diana Glenn at MFI is absolutely incredible. She helped our son during a difficult time when he was experimenting with vaping. I called the center desperate to find him help and she was quick to open a case and arrange to see my son at his school campus. After several meetings with him she felt he was on the right track and ready to move on without her support. I love dr de Jesus . She's amazing and she actually cares about her patients. The front staff is all nice and friendly. Dont miss your groups because they don't play and they will make your medication unavailable to you so you actually have to put in the work and do what you gotta do. Took my spouse for alcohol treatment. They have inappropriate and poor boundaries. Someone named Terri C. began texting my husband and asking to meet him outside of groups. I tried to file a complaint with management but they refused to take my complaints/concerns. Had to file a complaint with the state and whatever licensing board oversees treatment centers. read more

The level of customer service I received was well above par and expectations! I needed to retrieve documents from 3 years ago and hoped they were still available. Amanda was who I was directed to and she applied world class service and attention to my very urgent matter and I cannot thank her enough. My request was handled in a timely matter and with the highest level of professionalism possible. She also didn't overlook the simple things like smiling and providing undivided attention. Hello, after about a month ago, there have been 0 forms of communication from this facility. I was hoping to have been reached by another family therapist by now as the case is still active. I wish Kitsia would go back and would contact us again to continue our case.. she seemed as the perfect fit for our family. I think this place deserves one star for leaving families that need help out in the water without a raft. We, as a family were really appreciating the sessions we had via telephone with Kitsia during this CV-19 period of time. I have a teenager and it's unfortunate she had to leave the company because I felt we were finally starting to get ahead somewhere with our family therapy sessions. read more

My sister went to MFI for her addiction. It is very difficult to beat the beast, but she did it! She had 2 small children at the time and they were with her. She was successful and has over 9 years in her recovery. This is a very supportive organization! I can't recommend it enough! It is wonderful having my sister back! I found their facility via a Google Search and went in for an evaluation. After admitting myself into their Intensive Outpatient Program, I didn't know what to expect. I was soon relieved to find that the staff were all knowledgeable, kind, and available and the client population was very friendly and represented people of all backgrounds. The facility itself is also very clean and inviting, but honestly it's the people that make it so great. I learned a lot during my 9 weeks of the program, from my awesome lead counselor Lou and from the other members in my group, but the true gift of this facility is what they provided AFTER my treatment was over. MFI keeps you connected to alumni past and present via their Alumni Page on Facebook and their regular Alumni Events. It there that your treatment continues and you form even more connections and friendships that ease you through Recovery. Please read!!!!!!!!! first and foremost I don't want to come out like a negative person so i ask you to look at past feedback that i have gave other businesses. DO NOT visit this place unless you want to be treated unfairly by their Therapist (Kitcia D Haramillo) not only will she not return your calls in a timely matter but she will give you ex spouse a head start on the CO-PARENT sessions that are court orders and labels CO-PARENT what that means is BOTH parents together. She aloud my ex 2 visits prior to seing us both together, what's that means is that she listen to all the nonsense that my ex had to say about me then she saw us both together. Kitcia kept looking at her notes from the previous sessions with my ex. A little bit about me, my ex accused me of DV wen she found out i filed for divorce and was out of the house. Why woman do that? To gain upper hand in the divorce. Let me tell you how court wen for me.....FANTASTIC not only did i win the hearing but she was found inconsistent and with 3 yes!!! 3 different stories. Enough of that you get the picture, my ex is a very difficult person to deal with and with a Therapist like Kitcia to alow her a head start on this CO-PARENT session I can only imagine what their conversation wore and that is very unethical on her behalf. How then Kitcia wen on to lye, in her office I asked her if she had seen my ex prior to this session and she said yes. Then in the reception desk I asked her again and explained how I felt about this session and she wen on to say that she had seen her 2 time! Yes 2 times!!! To conclude STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE that employee people like Kitcia. I did reach out to the derector of the facility and I got a call back from a really nice administrator named Terry Crawford, she sound like a nice caring person. She did assure me that she I was going to investigate and had been keeping me informed on this matter. I also just got of the phone with bbs.ca.gov and I'm in the process of filling a formal complaint but I was just told that this takes months for review. Here is the information to complain if you have wrongfully treated because she is not in the California psychology association it's bbs.ca.gov Thanks for reading and STAY AWAY! A small update for perspective, we now have court because my son showed up at school with scratches on his face from guess who? Yes him mother so the school contacted child social service then they contacted police and now we are going to court. So sad! But the worse part is that there is counselors that are unethical and companies that hire these individuals and keep them employed after such matter! My brother is at their woodcrest location, which is nice, but you have to go to their "family support" meetings EVERY WEEK if you want to be allowed visitation which is ridiculous in my opinion. I get those meetings may help some people, but for those of us who would just like to visit and support our family members in our own way, it's not helpful. read more

Police forced me to come here on a 5150 and I spent a day, Some say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. That is a lie. Staff was friendly unless you are super insane. A guy by the name of Satan was getting restrained by the nurses yelling out I am Satan mixed in with some other obscenities. Another dude was saying he was gonna escape.....but he didn't lol If you are sane it is entertaining but gets old after a bit. I did meet some non insane people and hung out with them and nurses to pass my time. Food was digestible but not 5 star, Entertainment was 5 star however but I think I will stick with watching tv at home! read more

I was a client at MFI in 2006. The courts "made" me go and i refused to participate in any of that "rehab crap!!" But about 2 weeks into my stay in Woodcrest, something happened and I started wanting to be sober. I had one little hic-up where I had to change programs. But even with that I didn't get loaded! it has been over 12 years since I was at MFI and I look back on my time there as time well spent! They are not magicians, but if you want what they have to offer, MFI can work for you too. read more

Woodcrest inpatient was amazing. Infact in and outpatient were amazing however just had an incident with mat service staff. I had missed a few appts and they were about to cut off my prescription for Suboxone which is fine I understood that but what I am mad about is that I hadn't updated my phone number with them so staff took it upon themselves to go through the phone numbers I had written down such as emergency contacts or secondary numbers. Upon calling one of those numbers they asked how to get ahold of me but also released the information about my medication about to be cut off and the fact that I had missed appointments and how many I'd missed. I don't mind that they called the number looking for me but to release that information was not cool. The person who released the info was Aisha Ayesha. again I have no problem with other staff this was a great program but this incident has really put a sour taste in my mouth about how they handled that situation. read more

This place it it! My daughter was in several high $$ facilities in Orange County and their only purpose was to make money, not work with the addict. MFI changed my daughter life and gave her purpose again. I highly recommend. My family is mending and finding happiness again. Let them help your family too! read more

My husband was at mfi on Arlington in Riverside CA, he went in as an out patient for heroin addiction got on medication called Suboxone to help with withdrawal and also takes away urges to use. I would call from time to time for assistance in regards to my husband's progress I was treated awful told that's between you and your husband when in fact we're in this together he even signed a consent for me to know everything with his recovery. And yet I was treated like I was bothering them when I did call. I'm very much involved when it comes to my husband especially for his recovery I'm there with him 3 times a week as much as I could but I been really ill so at times we would have to go to medical appointments in which they ended up dropping my husband gave him one week of this medication and sent him on his way. Without this medication it's like he's kicking again sick throwing up in the bathroom fevers they didn't even wing him off or took into consideration that I am very ill as he would tell them and they would excuse him and then turn around and drop him. Some of the girls up front when I would call for my husband's progress and ask for a nurse would get bothered no one ever called me back but 3 times in the 5 months he was at mfi on Arlington in Riverside. Now we're trying and trying to get help because he needs medication and it's been hard getting any assistance mfi said they can help him in 6 months. So him being in recovery for heroin addiction so fresh and new is very stressful , and they could care less of a possible relapse or of the sickness that comes from being without medication they had him on all this time. So I wouldn't give any starts to mfi on Arlington because if they honestly cared about their patients they wouldn't have dropped my husband when he is trying to stay clean because of a few missed classed due to me has wife having an illness.. read more
