Accidentally found this place while going grocery shopping nearby. To my surprise, their Bun Mam was amazing! The portion was huge with full toppings - so much that it felt guilty to have that much seafood in such a cheap price! The broth could be improved if they put more fermented fish paste in it. Every time I do get a chance to eat at 108, I can say the service we get here is exceptional! You'll get a family vibe coming into 108 and that's how you'll feel with the service you'll get from the owner. Usually I would order the Vermicelli with chicken, shrimp and egg rolls. Back again for take out and really enjoyed my meal! The restaurant was fairly empty dropping by around 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, a handful of tables eating in. I know competition for Vietnamese food is tough in the Seattle area though this place is consistently delicious, service is friendly and helpful, food is ready very quickly, prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. 7 years later, this is still my ULTIMATE favorite spot for Vietnamese food. I just adore the owners as well. They seems to remember everyone :) My favorite dish here will always be the Banh Canh (Vietnamese Udon or Tapoica Noodles). Every time I bring a coworker or someone from out of town here, I insist they try this dish. Something about the broth here is different from the very few other restaurants that makes it. My other favorites are the Bun Bo Hue, Bun Rieu, Bun Mang Vit (Spicy Beef Noodle, Crab Noodle, and Duck and Bamboo Noodle). I've had so so so many dishes here - except for the pho somehow. Hahah. But overall, in the last 7 years, I don't think I've gotten anything that didn't blow my mind. read more

On my first visit, I ordered Bun Bo Hue. When it arrived, I could instantly smell the broth. It smelled rich and full of umami. The slight aroma of the shrimp paste made me eager to taste the broth. It was everything I imagined and more. It was one of the most satisfying bun bo hue broths I have ever had. The soup was filled with meat and had my favorite, pork hock. On my second visit, I ordered the Special Rice or Egg Noodle soup with egg noodles. The broth was light, but savory & so satisfying. Again plenty of meat and the noodles were perfect. On my last visit, went back to the bun Bo hue because it's just one of faves & also ordered fresh spring rolls with grilled pork. The rolls are huge & a great value for the money. The broth was just as delicious but my noodles were lack luster. They were broken and not cooked as much as I prefer them to be. On my visits, service has always been good. The people are nice and friendly. I did notice that some foods come out quickly like pho where as some of the other soups can take up to 20 minutes or so. We LOVE to come here. At first we would order online on rainy days, but my friend who lived in Vietnam realized the food was much like when he was there, we had to go and meet the owner. Being from Houston, I am particularly picky when it comes to pho and the Seattle area's pho scene definitely leaves something to be desired. However, 108 has probably been my favorite spot so far in the area for great pho. Broth is rich and packed with all the right notes and flavors and a generous serving and selection of different meats for the combination pho. Noodles were the right texture and not overcooked like so many of the pho places I've tried. This is definitely more of a mom and pop type of shop and the interior or service isn't anything to rave about, but if you're looking for a solid bowl of pho, you should definitely swing by the next time you're in the Kent area or stopping by IKEA. read more

I wanted to try something different and the reviews and pictures on Yelp looked yummy. I called in a to go order consisting of a fresh shrimp roll and fresh pork roll and the special fried rice. I asked them to add some broccoli also. When I walked in everything looked good all the Vietnamese decorations and things like that. The person who I paid said there were three items, and he may have said what they were but I guess I assumed that the order was correct. I didn't actually eat the food for a couple of hours. When I did open it to eat, I found the shrimp rolls and pork rolls, and I also found what I think is called the combination rice dish.. so not quite what I ordered, but it tasted pretty good. When we walked in, there was a smell of cigarette as if i walked into a smoking portion of the casino but it eventually went away. It was delicious but since they garnished it with Cilantro, it was overpowering the beef stew flavor. Service was ok. There's a bit of a language barrier since we actually said no mint or basil on our spring roll but it still got added on there which is not too big of a deal. Honestly, this is the only place I go to to eat Com Tam Dac Biet and be satisfied with it! The prawn is huge and absolutely delicious. I love to eat the head of the prawn. The nuoc mam is really good, especially adding spice to it. I've also tried their BBH, Goi vit, and banh canh and they were all really good too. This place has been around as far I know. I finally get a chance to give this a try. Price maybe a bit higher but I see good amount of meats in my Pho where other places have been skimming and slipping since the Covid to save a few bucks. I get it but I rather they increase the price than give me few food because it is not the same. The broth for both the Pho and the Bun Bo Hue are great. Not the cleanest inside but the folks were friendly. We ordered bun bo hue, a pho w/flank and brisket, and banh xeo. It didn't take long for us to wait for our food. All portion sizes were decent and we had leftovers. I haven't had banh xeo in quite some time - theirs was alright. It was crisp but bland and pretty greasy. I thought it is typically served with more lettuce but it was minimal here. The pho broth tasted different from what we are used to and I can't quite put my finger on it. It was good but didn't taste like pho... My husband wasn't a huge fan of their bun bo hue and noted it was okay. We gave it a try but weren't huge fans so will likely opt elsewhere. I have not been to the restaurant but have ordered ubereats here twice, and let me tell you; their food is good! We had the canh chua, ca kho, and it tasted like momma's cooking. Bo tai chanh and bo la lot is also very goood. Salted pepper squid and stir fried lemongrass tofu tasted amazing with white rice. I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner. I often come here for lunch with my co-worker. This place serves Bun Rieu (crab soup) and Banh Canh (Vietnamese Cake Soup), and I've only tried Bun Rieu. The soup was tasty but only needed a bit of shrimp paste sauce to make it more flavorful. I also tried Com Tam Dat Biet, which is broken rice special combo.
