    Nam Tok
    Dominic O.

Solid 4.5. Docking half a star since the fried tofu was a miss. The breading did not seem consistent with traditional asian fried tofu. For the mains, my girlfriend and I shared the Nam Tok and Basil Chicken w/ Fried Egg which were both fantastic. We ordered each in Medium which was on the upper end of my american chinese tolerance. Given the choice of breading for the Tofu, i am inclined to believe this would be the same on subsequent visits, not a one off mistake. If you're in the area and craving thai, definitely check it out.

Thai iced tea was sooooooo good!

This could be my new fav thai restaurant. Everything I tried was delicious and the servers were very nice. It wasn't busy when I went. The Thai ice tea was soooooo good! Not a lot of setting for large parties but that don't bother me!

This has been our "home" thai restaurant for 3+ years. The owner is super friendly, and her dishes are so so good. Not only is everything very authentic, the food stays consistent with flavor & portions. Price is average for your typical thai restaurant, has indoor seating. I cannot believe the rating is 4.2!? If you just come here & order pad thai you are missing out on more amazing thai dishes that the chef here makes (such as the boat noodle, & personal favorite the pad kra pao).

    Basil Chicken With Fried Egg

Food: I absolutely loved my dish, the flavor of the basil really made an entrance. The ground chicken was moist and flavored so well! And a fried egg completed the meal. I forgot what dry noodle dish the bf had, but he finished it so must have been delicious. If you have never had Thai ice tea, get it here. Probably one of the better ones I've had. Service: the lady serving us was so sweet, food came out promptly and fast. Ambiance: a nice lush little indoor garden, it's perfect for a meal and to catch up.

    Nam khao tod

Amazing and authentic Thai food!! The best dish here for me is the dry noodles. Huge portions for the price. The meat stuff they added in there seems to be homemade and rare to find in the area. The fermented pork salad (nam khao tod) was so gooddd not as spicy as I want it to be but still flavorful and crispy. The service was great! She's checking up on us and accommodate our requests for food. The dish was around $19 per dish not sure how much the salad though. There was no price on the menu. The shop is cute and small but not too hard to find! I recommend this place for anyone that looking for authentic thai noodles shop coming from a Thai person

    Chicken Panang curry.

I still really like this place. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but once you get inside the staff makes up for it. I really like how the Panang is heavy with peanut flavor. I'm still not convinced it's the greatest Thai restaurant but it's pretty dam good.

At home, a little of everything in one plate!

My second time here, I decided to dine inside. I had remembered the great experience last time, taking home several entries and making several meals out of that one to-go order. But this time I had one dish in mind - Chicken Larb! If you've never had Larb before, put it on your bucket list. It is a meat, coriander seed, peanut, roasted rice, peanut, cilantro, and chili-pepper "MINCE". Thats right, it is a mixture, the consistency of mince-meat... in a lettuce leaf or cabbage wrap. You may have to read that twice to get it. Or, see the pictures below. What I had today was possibly the best I've ever had - only mine is better. Just on the flavor and quality alone, this was a 5-Star meal! ... and it's only $13.99

    Curry with tofu

Ended up here on a whim when the Chinese place I wanted to go to wasn't open on Christmas. I went with yellow curry made with tofu and some spring rolls and the counter part got some sort of salmon curry. Service was super quick; we were quoted 15 min, but it was less than that. Kinda makes me wonder if it was a heat-and-eat kind of moment, because if that's the case I could have gone to the frozen section in the grocery store. Containers kept the heat in well and things were still very hot by the time I got back up on East Hill. Visually speaking, the curry was very plain looking. Very beige with no real discernable herbs or spices. That being said, the flavours are definitely in there and the taste was quite good. Well, my tofu curry was good, the salmon curry was hated and thrown into the garbage. Seems like the texture was weird? Either way, I was surprised he ordered the curry so it might have been a personal preference kind of thing, Greatest Thai place in the area? Nope. All things considered it's quite good, much closer than my favourite Thai place, so there's a chance I'll come here again.

A cozy mom and pop shop! Loved the atmosphere. Felt like I was dining in a home. We were all too hungry to take pictures since we went with the little ones in the family. But the food was delicious! Everything tasted like it was home made. Absolutely loved it. Their nam kao is hands down the best I've ever had. It was super fresh and crispy. Their papaya salad was bomb diggity. Left there satisfied! If you come in large groups, it can be a bit crowded since it's a smaller dining area. BUT, they make it work. Can't wait to come back for their nam kao & papaya salad!

Food wise it's a 4. Comfortable atmosphere and delicious food. Yet service was dissapointing. One of those feelings were you sense that they'd rather not have you there. Probably they wanted to close early or be out as soon as they could.

    Rice? Burnt spices? Wtf
    B S.

Meh. It's alright. The atmosphere of the actual establishment makes a bigger impression than the actual food and flavor. We ordered in tonight and received some pretty burnt rice. My husband tried to ensure me that it was "flavor"... honey, I was born at night but not last night. There's no way in hell that BURNT equates to "flavor/seasonings". I've eaten in and ordered out at this place and all times I've been severely under satisfied. The swimming Rama was like half a cup or sorry cut chicken and a cup of spinach. At these prices? No thanks honey. The peanut sauce was very thick almost like they burned the roué. Wtf. Definitely WONT be dinning here again. Regardless of the cool inside decor or not.

Thai Boat Noodle Beef and Pork
    Vance L.

Always try to come here whenever we're down south! Always get their Thai Boat Noodles! It's not for everyone but it's quite authentic as you know if there's Thai patrons that come here all the time. It's a casual place where you can pop in for a quick bowl and be satisfied. The service is quick and the food comes out real fast and fresh! Have taken it to go before and still quite good when you heat it up! They usually separate the noodles so it doesn't get soggy but if you have the time to stop and eat it here then it's the best. We got a side of crackling pork rinds/chips with it to dip in the soup too.

I've had this spot pinned on my Google Maps for the longest time but just never had the opportunity to make the drive there. This place was easy to miss if you don't look carefully so I'm glad I saw this recommended by a Seattle foodie I follow on instagram. We ordered the spicy braised beef noodles and steamed dumplings to share since we weren't that hungry. The braised beef noodles BLEW ME AWAY. The broth was so rich and savory, my mom commented that it tasted better than the one at din tai fung (we are frequent visitors & I agree) and the noodles were chewy (I love thick noodles!!). The dumplings were very juicy and flavorful but nothing too special. Service was prompt and servers were really friendly. There were so many other dishes on the menu featuring traditional Chinese dishes that looked delicious and so I do want to come back to try those when I am hungry! Definitely a hidden gem for good Asian food :)

The lamb buns were great. Unlike most buns or patties or quiche which usually have ground lamb, these had tiny cubes, along with potatoes. Just needed some hot sauce to unlock flavors for me. The lamb soup with noodles was light and super flavorful. Great for a winter afternoon. Service was nice. There were a few people picking up at the time we entered, but nobody else dining in. When one of the servers came with our cold waters, we placed our food order right away with her. We got two orders of the Pork Patty Spring Rolls, a Kids Meatball Pho, a Combination Pho, a Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl and a Vietnamese Pancake. After about 5 minutes, we got the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. Every single time we order them, they taste so good!!! Hits the spot whenever we visit this restaurant. Probably our favorite dish, actually. After we devoured the Spring Rolls, our entrees came out - Combination Pho and the Kids Meatball Pho. Then a few minutes later, the Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl came out. I normally like to pour some Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce into my Noodle Bowl along with the sauce it originally comes with. Mixing everything in all of that makes it that much more flavorful for me! Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the food and the service. The added crispy crunch on the inside makes these next level with the dark Romaine and just enough noodles to not overwhelm them like other places. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.
