WOW ! This dinner tonight was amazing ! I was staying at the Hilton garden inn which is literally a 1-2 min walk from the entrance door. I came in around 4:30-5pm and it wasn't busy which was nice so I sat at the bar and ordered a IPA while I waited for my to go order. I was really craving a wedge salad and THANK GOD I ordered that because omg ! DELICIOUS ! The Wedge Salad I ordered came with blue cheese dressing but I also asked for the Lemon Oregano Vinaigrette. If you get this salad and you want a nice kick ask for jalapeños ! BOMB! The Signature Burger was pretty good I will say I did ask them to add jalapeños to that order as well which gave it a awesome kick as well but I will say the bun was a little hard so each bite was a bit tough. That wasn't a horrible thing but it made the burger less appealing. None the less that doesn't defeat the FLAVOR because it was good ! The only thing I would've changed was the side.. the sweet potato fries although great normally turned out to be very soggy by the time I walked back to my hotel. Next time I would try a different side. They also forgot to add ketchup for my fries in my to go order although that's my fault for not asking before I left. All in all this place was DELICIOUS I will 100% be back to try more on the menu! read more

We went to 110 Grill in Marlboro about 8 years ago and it was delightful. We went to 110 Grill in Stratham a few times and it was Ok to good. Tonight we went to the Portsmouth location and it was very poor. I had the Yellowfin Tuna bowl. It was poorly executed. The Sugar Snap Peas were un trimmed so the undigestible stems were on every pea pod. The Tuna taste was unpleasant. I left 80 % of it on my plate. My wife had the Thai Salmon. The portion was very thin, dry, and scorched on top. She had ordered it done medium. It came overdone. So very disappointing! Came to celebrate our Anniversary, left very disappointed... read more

Service was excellent! She was so friendly. We have never eaten at this chain of restaurants, we don't have any food allergies, but they seem super accommodating if you do. We started with a great French martini, but a small pour. We ordered the calamari, there was more breading than meat. Our entrees came with great timing, my baked cod was good, the fish tacos had too much much breading, and the taco shell fell apart after 1 bite. The pulled pork sandwich tasted great, however lots of extras on it and not much meat. Let's talk Brussels sprouts! They said roasted.... Went to 120 Grill in Portsmouth yesterday. Asked for a table outside for lunch - had to sit outside since I had my dog with me. They are pet friendly. They only had 1 table seated with 10 customers, otherwise restaurant completely empty. Waiter told the bartender he couldn't wait on us outside because of the big party! Really - no one else in the restaurant! Will never go back - never been an issue in the past. No way this place is going to be open much longer if they turn away paying customers. Please Read: I have been coming to this location for many years. DO NOT bother coming to this one, at least for lunch. Past 3 or 4 visits have been kinda rough: super long wait for food, absentee bartender. Yesterday was the final for me. Literally 3 tables and two bar seats and my sandwich took (at least)40 minutes. The few ppl in there were waiting a long time as well. The manager was the only person in the kitchen. Not her fault, just sucks to wait so long for a quick lunch. Criminally understaffed. I was there for about an hour and the bartender was behind the bar a maximum of 6 minutes. Had to flag her down, etc. There was a lady who came in to pick up a large to - go order. When she asked for it, the host/server looked confused. She asked for the manager, and it seems because they did not have a couple of the items, they didn't prepare any of the order, or ya know, try to call them. Their response? I'm the only one in the kitchen. Bottom line, nobody was rude or unprofessional. But paying for someone to prepare your meals and drinks is supposed to take stress away, not add. Ouch, what a poor choice I made for dinner ahead of the Portsmouth holiday parade. In all fairness, Portsmouth was packed and all the restaurants were slammed, but this restaurant was not prepared and should have turned people away. I've never eaten at this chain before and while the food was acceptable, the experience was poor from start to finish. We had a reservation, but had to wait for a table. After taking our order, the server continued to apologize that the kitchen was swamped. Food simply did not come. We really should have left as it was a good 90 minutes before we had our dinner. Unfortunately, this caused us to miss a portion of the parade. Not the end of the world, but reading the other reviews it would appear they have trouble getting food out of the kitchen. They had several large parties (20 or more diners), and the kitchen was focused on them, rather than the diners in the main restaurant. Lots of apologies from the server, and the manager came to ask how everything was when we were leaving. Nothing comped on the check. Loyalty discount applied to the wrong party. We tipped appropriately as the servers were hustling, but when there is no food coming from the kitchen, what can they do? There are so many better dining options in Portsmouth. This chain seems to cater to diners who have food allergies, but they should try harder. Without a doubt, one of the poorest dining experiences I've had at a chain restaurant. I get it, if you have food allergies this may be your place, but if you don't, Portsmouth has great restaurants. Skip this one. read more

Okay the food was great I got the Baked Cod wifey got the Swordfish and we got the Fried Calamari and Banana Peppers as a appetizer in the dining room you have full view of the Chef and he was in there by himself Cheffing it up and shout out to him all the food was cooked to perfection as a matter of fact the only reason this isn't getting 5 stars was truly the wait the Staff was kind and friendly but we sat there for almost 45 minutes before we even got to put our appetizers in he got my drink wrong and the whole ordeal was about a little over a hour and half the appetizer was pretty much served with the food even though we ordered it earlier and separate so 5/5 stars for the chef and food quality but I'd give the wait staff 2 stars honestly the food was so good though and cooked so perfect I'm settling on 4 stars honestly total and as a reference they were not packed at all the servers will avoid eye contact so you almost need to yell to them other than that food was great read more

This was a pick up order. I watched the chef forget my chicken caprese in the oven and the host (maybe manager) call to him to inquire about it. The chef immediately pulled it out, both employees saw the extremely overcooked chicken and they then packaged it up and shipped it out. I had a feeling when we got back to the hotel it was going to be charred. It was. Accidents happen. What bothers me is that two employees saw the state of the chicken and still decided to serve it. We went to the 110 Grill on the night of the Halloween Parade, and not only was the food delicious, but our server, Zoe, truly made our visit outstanding! We were a group of seven on a very busy night, and she managed to get us seated quickly and get our orders in without missing a beat. We shared several appetizers, and thanks to Zoe's great recommendations, our favorites were the Bang Bang Cauliflower, Firecracker Shrimp, and the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. Everything was fantastic. But what really impressed us were the espresso martinis she made for our table. Zoe even brought the shakers over and individually shook each one right at the table -- and they were absolutely delicious! I'm always looking for a new place to try out when I'm home in NH visiting friend's & family. I came here for the 1st time on 06/14/2023 for a later lunch with my friend Tammy to meet our friend Jen. We were greeted by the hostess once she was back to the stand & she had asked us if we had any food allergies before seating us, which we we were seated @ a table. Our waitress was Ashlee who was really good. I got a nice tall Truly on draft which is a favorite of mine. I went with the grilled cheese & tomato soup along with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. I was a little hestinate on the grilled cheese as it has a goat cheese mixture & I'm not a big fan of goat cheese. Ashlee said we could do light or omit it but I wanted to try it out since there was another cheese in there & thought that would cut out the sour taste that goat cheese has. I was able to taste the goat cheese, it was OK but if I got it again I would omit it. I wish the bread was more buttery, crispy. The tomato soup was my favorite, it was delicious! The garlic mashed potatoes were not good @ all, they had NO taste to them whatsoever even when I put butter & pepper on them. I brought my leftover potatoes home to my Mom & she thought the same thing. I gave my leftover tomato soup to my Mom's boyfriend who really liked it. My friend's had the steak & cheese sandwich and the crab cake sandwich on special that they both enjoyed. I tried my friend's sweet potatoes fries that were tasty. I wish they had more food options on their menu. I like how they ask you if you have any food allergies, even Ashlee had asked too. She even came back to check on our food & offered separate checks. She checked off all the boxes of a great waitress. Not sure I would come back as I didn't really find a lot of things on their menu that I was interested in. I stopped in for lunch on a Monday after my chiropractor appointment next door at Seacoast Spine & SPorts (highly recommend). I'd posted in a foodie FB page asking for recommendations on mac & cheese made with cavatappi pasta, so 110 Grill was brought to my attention. The mac & cheese with pulled pork is a whopping 2300+ cal, so I ended up getting just a side to try. The sauce is nice and thick, but to me it taste more like a bechamel and not super cheesy. That's not my preference so I'm glad I got the side and not a full order of it. When I had sat down at the bar since I was dining alone, I overheard the bartender recommending the steak salad to someone else, so that's what I went with alongside my mac. I love that 110 Grill lists the caloric values on the menu and offers a gluten-free menu, it makes things a lot easier for those who are conscious of their intake. The steak salad was absolutely amazing - the blend of bacon, balsamic, and bleu cheese were delicious. My steak came out perfectly medium. I have a feeling I'll be craving this salad in the near future. They have a fun loyalty program where you can earn birthday treats and free apps, and on Mondays you earn double the points! It's an open kitchen mind you so I can see the kitchen is putting up incomplete orders completely out of ticket order. What a great experience when visiting downtown Portsmouth! The service was great, and the food was delicious! So happy to see they had an extensive gluten-free menu. Even got to enjoy gluten-free fig and prosciutto flatbread with goat cheese and arugula, which was incredible! Even my non-gluten-free husband loved it. Also had the chopped kale salad, which was fantastic and the dressing was perfect. Husband enjoyed the non-gluten-free creamy tomato soup and grilled cheese,made with goat cheese & American cheese. I've been to several 110 grills, and specifically this location about 10x. The Portsmouth 110 grill is fabulous and a haven for anyone with Celiac or a gluten intolerance. The food is always consistent, the staff is always helpful and attentive to all food allergy needs. They have plenty of indoor seating including booths, high tops and low tops as well as a big bar area with TVs. If you sit at the booths close to the kitchen you can see the staff working and prepping meals which is always a hit for the little ones. Though there is plenty of seating, this place is popular and does get crowded so be warned. ** VERY GF FRIENDLY with separate kitchen area for GF food. Managers deliver all food for customers with allergies and they have designated gluten free food picks to place in your food to designate it GF as well. read more

Came on the recommendation of a friend for dinner on a weeknight. Place was surprisingly empty and I claimed an open spot at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and took extra time to make sure I didn't have any food allergies. Ended up ordering the Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese with Onion Straws. It was Amazing! The pork was nice and tender and the homemade BBQ and ranch were a nice compliment without being overwhelming. The onion straws were crispy and plentiful. I ordered the grilled salmon with freshly steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the sirloin tip salad with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. All was excellent. The salmon was cooked just right--not rare or overdone and my wife reported the same for the luscious looking, thick slices of sirloin in her salad. A word about 110 Grill's garlic mashed potatoes: It was easy to tell that these were fresh, not packaged as small bits of potato are mixed in with the otherwise smooth and creamy texture. Garlic flavor is not overpowering but is perfectly complimentary to any main course entree. Discerning guests are sure to particularly savor every morsel of this surprising, anything but ordinary, side dish. Staff was warm, friendly, courteous and attentive. Pride is definitely on tap here at 110 Grill. I highly recommend this restaurant which is one of a relatively small regional chain. We had just arrived in Portsmouth, NH on our way to Maine. We saw that this place had outside seating and asked if our dog could be in the patio. The waitress said yes, no problem. So we went to get the dog, but the person sitting us asked if the dog was a service animal. I said no but the waitress said we could have her in the patio. He changed his mind and said it would be okay and "I won't tell anyone." We would have been okay leaving her in the car as it was a cool evening and the car was only a few steps away that we could clearly see. After he said for the second time that it was okay, we brought the dog to quietly sit under the table as she normally does in these situations. It was nice that they finally let the dog sit with us outside. She's well behaved and we wouldn't bring her to restaurants if she wasn't. 110 Grill has a very nice outside patio not only with tables and chairs for dinner but a large seating area with couches surrounding a fire pit. The parking lot was quiet with few cars and traffic so it made for a pleasant evening. I ordered the swordfish from the "Off the Hook" section of the menu. This is not to be confused with the Cuban swordfish which was also on the menu. I usually get salmon but thought I would try swordfish for a change. It was nice but I think salmon would still be my "fish of choice" next time. It seemed slightly dry so I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be as I've never had swordfish before. I liked that I got a choice of two sides and I went with broccoli and brussel sprouts. I thought the brussel sprouts were very good. I ate every last bite. The husband ordered the 110 Meatloaf. It is a mixture of ground beef, pork and veal with a smoky glaze served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Then topped with crispy onion strings and sirracha ketchup. Stopped in late on a Weds night. Both food and service were very good. Started with an espresso martini and a pistachio martini (on their specials menu), and both tasted great. Then ordered a shrimp risotto and their Cuban sandwich. Excellent! Would highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be going again when we're back in Portsmouth read more
