Tonight was the second time we have gone there. The first time was excellent. Unfortunately this time was a disappointment. Eventhough we had the same waitress both times, we had a totally different experience this time. Tonight I was completely dissatisfied with both the service and the food. Tonight I ordered the Chimichurri steak. I ordered medium rare and it was barely cooked at all and the spicey fries were so over salted they were hardly edible. Not once did Tiffany come back to check on us. When we were done she came and cleared our plates and eventhough I barely ate half of my meal and my wife still had some left overs she didn't ask us if we wanted a box. To be honest I would have said no anyway, because I wouldn't have given that steak to my dog. Not only was it way under cooked, the Chimichurri sauce was too sour and disgusting. I did give it 2 stars and that was mostly because I enjoyed this place on my first visit. Im not sure if I will give it a 3rd try or not. I understand people have different taste, but the service killed it for me tonight. Not only was it subpar during dinner after Tiffany dropped off the check she didn't come back for it for quite awhile. The atmosphere and service were great. It was super busy when we went on a Thursday night but the server was upfront with us about the wait times for food and drinks. The music was a little bit loud for my liking. We had a party of 6 and we ordered 2 apps and 6 meals. The poutine tots were absolutely not what I expected and disappointing, it's tater tots with gravy and a cheese sauce separate and both on the side. The nachos on the other hand were amazing!! The meals were hit or miss. My buffalo chicken flatbread was soso, way too many scallions on it. The stroganoff was good but too many onions. The salmon was good. I think that with time it could get better if they try the food before it goes out. Nobody wants that many onions on their food haha! read more

In my first visit to the 110 grill I had no complaints and it was great, so great I decided to go again a few weeks later. I had set up a reservation a day in advance and when I got there I was told there was no room for my party, 20 minutes later our only option was to share a table with another party despite our reservation. After being seated, there was no acknowledgement of the wrongful treatment. Later when we received our food, one person in my group pointed out that the food was very cold and when the waitress was told, she took it back to the kitchen, and less than 5 minutes later returned with the exact same plate of food warmed a bit more. Again, there was very little acknowledgement for what had occurred. Overall a mixture of food and service and no compensation for these events is reason for why I won't be returning anytime soon. read more

Stopped in for a late dinner with my son. Did not expect top notch food as I am not a fan of chains. Food was as expected- okay but nothing special. I had a philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries, my son had a meatloaf and mashed potato dinner with broccoli. Everything was fine but nothing to write home about. Amazing food only surpassed by the fantastic customer service. We were in town for a business trip and had the good Fortune to find this place for lunch - what a treat. Our server Kylie warmly greeted us and explained that the entire menu was made from scratch on their kitchen, and that all of the produce and seafood was delivered fresh almost daily and of the highest quality. True story. The Bang Bang shrimp were delectible and the tomatoe soup and grilled cheese sandwich were the best I've had in my life - and I truly mean it. Absolutely delicious. Kylie's service was superb and only added to the fantastic experience, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience before our big meeting. We were there tonight with 12 people. Had a wonderful experience. As soon as we sat down our waiter Sean quickly took our drinks orders. Explained questions about the menu. I had the Lobster Risotto. Delish. Others had burgers, steak, chicken. They had no complaints. Very nice experience since was a very busy night. Great service. read more

I thought by the amount of cars in the parking lot....this place would be wonderful, WRONG....this place is, first, a chain and second not the best food I ever had and third the prices are a little high considering...downtown Exeter, NH has places better and cheaper....I had steak tips (not that many) --small amount of fries and really the beverage if there was booze like I ordered, sure didn't taste any....this place was disappointing to say the least.... read more

April 26, 2019 This would normally be a 5-star rating ...we are very disappointed in the recent change of your Happy Hour (HH) offerings. We have been a regular (HH) customer at your location in Stratham, NH since it has opened. We come a couple of times a week. We love the exciting and vibrant atmosphere of your restaurant. We love that it is LOCAL because we do support local businesses. And, the food is great! What we don't like is that we noticed approximately 2 weeks ago that you changed/scaled down your HH specials and offerings. We were very disappointed in the limited beer selections and foods. We asked management and the bar staff why the change and they couldn't give us a satisfactory answer, but instead the "proper" canned answer they were instructed to say. The bar was not as busy as usual and the staff was not happy with the reduction in patrons. I understand all restaurants and businesses have to make money, but in this case, I feel that such a drastic change in your HH may be detrimental to the business. HH is usually an in-between part of the day where restaurants struggle how to generate income while keeping the staffing "busy". Well, we can tell you firsthand, along with the other patrons that were there, that not only are we the patrons not happy, but the staffing did not like the change. For this reason, you have just lost not only our business but the business of many other patrons that we would regularly come with or meet there. Please consider bringing back your regular HH. read more

My mom and I ate here last week and we had great service! Jennifer K was awesome and so helpful. The restaurant was super busy that night and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Over priced, and the food is really not that good. Couldn't get my salad order correct, brought my tuna after I had to ask. Later I looked at the menu and realized there were no beets in my beet salad. ( I think I missed it because of the no tuna thing)ugh! read more

This was a hard review for me to write as I was torn. A 3.5 option would be perfect, but I'll bullet point the our experience and let you decide. We had a reservation for a Saturday night for 6 of us. It was a Birthday so we had asked if we could bring a cake. We got a firm NO, you can buy cake of our menu. Most places will allow you this but will charge a serving fee which is totally within reason. We arrived about 10 min early for the 7:30 reservation. they were slammed and told us 15 min behind schedule which turned into 40 min. The hostess was less than kind and really could use better communication skills. They will call you on your cell phone when your table is ready, great idea, but maybe they should tell you?? Once seated, our waiter Sean was outstanding. My girlfriend ordered a beer only to find out they were out, her second choice was also out, but third time was a charm. The food we good and fairly priced. We all liked the atmosphere there. Maybe things will get better as they had only been open a month or so. read more

We went to the 110 Grill for lunch and had a very enjoyable meal. Nice atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. I had the Cure burger - fried egg, smashed tater tots, bacon- messy but really good. My husband had the steak tips which he said were very good. The only issue was that he asked for medium well on the steak tips but they were rare. Back I went today with my son. I ordered fried clams for 23.00. I recieved about a dozen. I bit into my 3rd clam and had to reach for a napkin for disposal. When the waitress came by I spoke with her. She scooped it up and took it away. A person from management came by all apologies and asked if I wanted something else. Even made a suggestion. I went for the bbq chicken salad as I was nibbling on my sons. Which was delicious. The waitress Rebecca was awesome. Later she came with the bill which was 15.26. My meal was not on there. I would have gladly paid for my salad. The balance of my gift card was 55.00 and some change. I give it to the waitress writing on the check a big thank you and told her we were all set. Good food and attractive interior and bar area. Families descend en masse late afternoon which, for the unsuspecting (like us), resulted in a wait. 90 minutes later, at a more civilized dinner hour, the crowds had thinned out. We enjoyed our meals, the service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. My only complaint was my Beefeater martini was billed as a Hendrick's. Our waiter explained that "Beefeater martini straight up with a twist" was just a generic phrase! Well, er, OK. We paid the up charge without further ado and left a good tip--and trusted that further training in cocktail service would take care of things in the future. This was our first time at this relatively new establishment and I should have known better. Yes it has a clean and attractive decor. Yes the staff is friendly and competent. Yes the cocktails were well crafted and the bar staff were just fine. Problem is they just cannot cook beef. My wife's sirloin tips with whiskey glaze was flavorful but served only lukewarm. Sides of Brussels sprouts and broccoli were also barely warm. My steak (the strip) was ordered medium and was served raw in the middle. I did receive a comped Wedge salad but of course my wife was ready for dessert by the time the unsatisfactory replacement arrived. The replacement steak was not the same cut of meat despite the mangers claim that is was and I refused to eat it. The bill was not adjusted until I continued to protest. I still paid close to 100 dollars (I tipped the staff on the total as the problem was not their fault) for a very forgettable experience. I guess this is a great place for people who like a undercooked,overpriced food in a relatively upscale, chain restaurant setting. However, if you are actually a fan of properly cooked food that is served hot, there are far, far better local options in the area. We are not planing on returning. read more

If you like fat laden chain restaurant food, this place in Stratham is for you! You get junk food on nice plates under pendent lighting in a middle age hipster setting. They advertise as "Modern American Cuisine" - and they got that right. Fat hamburgers on giant buns, greasy chicken wings. The cooks have not met a sauce they don't like. Pulled pork and Mac & Cheese with onion rings, drizzled in bbq AND ranch sauce! Lest you be worried, all this is made in a "rich cheese sauce". That sounds healthy! Everything is cheese laden, fried or coated in who knows what. One has to wonder if they named it the 110 Grill because you will gain 110 pounds or blood pressure points eating here. Its like the menu was written by Elaine from Seinfeld when she worked for Mr. Peterman: not just wine, but "approachable wines". The meal doesn't come with bread, instead it is: "accompanied" by bread. The fish is not wild caught...but "oceanic raised" , a handy marketing term for ocean water cages. The food here is heart attack city to the point of comical. We watched the cooks spoon three giant ladles of thick blue cheese dressing onto a wedge salad. So nice of them to include some lettuce with that blue cheese! The "vegetarian" stir fry was a limp mass of greasy noodles with a few carrot shavings and some wilted green detritus formerly known in their past life as snap peas. If there were any onions in the onion soup I couldn't find them under the two inch layer of congealed, glue like cheese. Save yourself a few years of your life and eat elsewhere. read more

I have been to many restaurants but never have I ever been so disappointed. Went for dinner tonight hostess was very friendly and seated us right away. Then we waited, people that came after us were already being served and we still waited for someone just to acknowledge us. We had 4 waitresses walk by. 2 stopped at tables next to us. But none even looked in our direction. My husband was going to give them a couple more minutes then we were to leave but I insisted we stay. I finally had enough and went to the hostess counter to ask for a waitress to serve us. That is when we finally got service. Not good service, just service. We ordered drinks then had to wait for the bread. Guess they were baking it from scratch. Ordered our meal, never saw the waitress again until she brought us the check. Even though we wanted dessert. Were never asked if we wanted refills or dessert just the tab. Paid it, and we left to go to popovers in Epping to enjoy coffee and dessert. Which by the way was great. Service and dessert.. A group of us from Exeter Hospital thought we'd try out this new restaurant last Thursday, 2/8. The food was great! Our server, Shawn, was fabulous! Very attentive and accommodating. There were originally 6 of us, and we had two other friends join unexpectedly when the rest of us were about 1/2 way thru eating. It didn't frazzle him at all. He was a pleasure and even offered us all separate checks at the end. Thank you Shawn! The reason I'm giving the restaurant only 3 stars is because of the hostess. She had a horrible, passive aggressive attitude. Made us feel like second class citizens because we didn't have a reservation (it was 4:45pm on a Thursday and the place had a ton of empty tables). Then when she finally told us she had a booth for us in the back, we explained to her we needed to settle up at the bar. The hostess said she'd be right back but disappeared & was nowhere to be found for 10 minutes, even tho we went back to the hostess station & asked. Waited & waited. No return hostess, no return bartender, so just went & sat down in the only booth with 6 place settings. Hostess was obviously perturbed, because she had a bad attitude when she brought us the menus. We were pleasant & joking, telling her we figured this was the table because it was the only one that was set for 6. Told her we tried to find her. She didn't make eye contact& deliberately put the menus at the EMPTY places before handing them to the 4 of us who were there (our other friends were parking). Who does that? So petty & passive aggressive. If Shawn hadn't walked up immediately and hadn't been so pleasant, I would have walked out. Told him we never paid our bar tab and to please add it to our bill, but because of the bartender who disappeared could have just as easily not paid for our drinks, but we would never do that. Unfortunately, we won't go back due to the hostess's attitude & will be sure to let the Exeter Hospital staff & providers know of our experience. Wish I had gotten her name. Short, blonde, middle aged. There are plenty of restaurants around. No need to go to one where the person greeting you makes you feel as if she's doing YOU a favor. read more
