The engine in my son's 2012 Hyundai locked up a couple of weeks ago, so my son had it towed to Complete Auto. It was going to cost between somewhere in the range of $4,000-$6,000 to replace the engine, and he still has a small loan on the car. The team at Complete auto (Nick & Matt) did some searching and found that there was a technical service bulletin (TSA) on his year and make of vehicle that addressed the engine failure. Long story short, they suggested that we have it towed to a Hyundai dealership to see if they would warranty it, and...THEY DID! Complete Auto "could" have not told us about the service bulletin and possibly had a big pay day. It's very hard to find that level of honesty in ANY business these days. They might not always be the cheapest, but they have my business and recommendation because of their quality work, honesty, over-all value, and willingness to help people out in any way possible. Since they joined the CARSTAR franchise they are dishonest and don't complete their work properly and in a timely manner. I will never go there again. My last experience was terrible. It took months to complete the work and they added new damage and problems to my car. I had two cars with hail damage at the same time. I took my other car to another local family owned shop and it was done perfectly in two days. I would avoid any franchised body shop. They just care about money and not the customer.

It was repaired so well even my colleagues at work could not tell it was repaired. The paint quality and the finishing was perfect. They even cleaned it from the inside better than I do myself which was not expected but highly appreciate it. These guys stripped every fastener in the wheel and rotor assemblies on my vehicle. They over…read moretorqued the wheels down to the point where my 1400 ft-lb electric impact could not take off the overtightened lug nuts. Additionally, the overtightened lug nuts warped my rotors. I had to go back and ask this shop to reinstall the wheels correctly. And finally, I now need an extractor kit just to replace the front rotors since the retainer screws are stripped. thx (i had recently replaced the retainer screws by hand, so I knew they were in good condition before this shop mangled them) And finally, they are way overpriced for this sort of service.

The adjuster said that he had dealt with this with ONLY this company on many occasions and wished we would have never brought it there! But I read the bottom and it said a storage fee would be charged if you did not pick up your vehicle within three days after completion of work! No work was done!!!! Sounds like a scam to me! When I told him I would be leaving a negative review he told me that if I did he would sue me! Well I am pursuing options to let the authorities know about their scam to insurance companies!

Then he started tailgating me and was literally about a foot from my rear bumper, the traffic in front of me slowed down and I got rear-ended. I got out of my vehicle to talk to the driver and he told me I slammed on my brakes on purpose. Then while the car waited for the cop to arrive he started scrambling. He didn't even have his tow hooks properly secured he started hooking up his tow hooks properly because that could have caused damage to some other vehicle, or even worse if someone was on the motorcycle they could have gotten hit by these big hooks. He had a female with him. We parked on the shoulder I walked up to the tow truck to take a picture of the company name and the female started yelling at me to get into my car. Then she told the state trooper how I grabbed the door handle I was trying to get into the tow truck which is a complete lie. I don't understand if you are an operator of a tow truck why you wouldn't keep your distance from other vehicles and you would tailgate so close.
