One of the worst massage I've ever received. I booked a 90 minute full body massage and what I got was basically a pat down. The massage itself had no pressure. Even when I asked for more pressure, it started out with some then reverted back to nothing. It was all movement and no thought nor technique. Didn't do anything when discovering a knot in my body. There was lots of light slapping on the legs and lifting to let it drop back to the bed to indicate when a massage is over. But it wasn't because she did it several times. She also moved my bed while I was on it for whatever reason. Did not receive a head/scalp massage nor temple/face massage. Avoid trying out this location. I get a lot of shoulder pain so when I really want that area focused on I get the specific treatment and other times I just get the full body and you really can't go wrong with either. This was my first visit to 12 Hours Massage and I am SO GLAD I came here! 12 Hours Massage is so close to my home that I could walk here. It is so CONVENIENTLY close and is located next to the 24 Hour Fitness. It was easy to book an appointment online! There was an option to select "Therapist A" or "Therapist B," and since it didn't specify the difference, I just selected Therapist A. The waiting area feels clean and open. This business prefers cash and you are expected to pay prior to your service. This didn't bother me at all, but some people might be annoyed if you're not expecting it. I was shown to my therapy room promptly. I scheduled a 90-minute massage for myself. It was $90 and was worth every.single.penny! My massage started right on time and it was fabulous! I have fibromyalgia and I hurt all over all the time! I also have a bad shoulder. This massage alleviated so much of my pain (albeit, temporarily) but it felt like heaven to not feel pain! I believe the ownership changed as it used to be a man that oversaw all appointments/scheduling. The customer service was horrible. I got questioned by the front office lady for my tip when it was 20% of the entire massage cost. That was pretty rude in my opinion and definitely ruined the experience for me. I will not be coming back here ever again. Maybe they should pay their therapists more so they aren't so heavily reliant on more than 20% for a tip - which is actually 15-20%. Updated response to owner: yes this is the correct business and your front desk receptionist did question the amount of the tip for a 2 hour massage when it was 20%. I read through your reviews and it doesn't look like this is the first time it happened. I would suggest you check with your front desk team as they are questioning tip amounts in a very rude way. We stopped by last night, their last night before closing for the shutdown. The owner is super nice and definitely runs a clean and efficient studio. Checks temperatures, takes survey, makes sure patrons wear masks the whole time. I do like that given the current circumstances - better safe than sorry. I appreciate that I could call and get appointments booked same day at a convenient time. The prices are very reasonable too. They have a membership program with a one time fee that gets you discounts on future massages. The room was clean and it looked like they have separate rooms for everyone - I came with my boyfriend but we were split in two separate rooms. The music is pleasant piano pop hits, not your typical 'zen' music (I recognized almost all of the songs). Prices are arguably the best around here while still maintaining high-quality. Sue gave me an absolutely amazing 60 min body massage and a 60 min foot massage (back to back). The most relaxing massage for 2 hours at $110? unheard of! I asked her for a medium to soft massage because I just wanted to relax and her pressure was perfect. I left feeling like I was floating. Most times I try places, I leave super sore or hurting but Sue had the perfect soft pressure for me. The receptionist was very rude. After the massage, I was paying and giving a decent tip. The receptionist pulled the paper away from me and told me to give a higher tip. I am entitled to give the tip amount as I see fit and I have never been interrupted during my payment to be pressured to give more. I was extremely offended and will not be returning. The massage itself was average. I was still giving a good tip but the receptionist was so rude and pushy that we will definitely not be returning. I'm torn. I've been here twice now, and both times were good overall. Both times involved different ladies, and the first time was last year. The first massage, was a lot deeper, and seemed to have more intention. I left noodly, and overall very zen. The most recent, it felt like the lady noticed the extreme problem area (traps) and just glazed over it to rub all over. I don't know if it was because there was a language barrier, if it wasn't her favorite to do, if it was because I was the first of the day, or if it was because I was just an hour. She asked if it was my first time, I told her no, that I had been last year, and she said oh, and said she was gonna put hot stones, and there was this whole back and forth of whether I was okay with this free hot stones thing, when I kept agreeing that it was okay - because she didn't understand "yes" "okay." And when it came to it, the stones were rubbed across my back for maybe two passes each pair. So, again, this place was good enough to return. Even despite the price going up. I just needed to update for those who, like me, have taken the pandemic seriously. It has been over a year since I've had a massage and my body is wrecked. I'm recently fully vaccinated (yay science!) and, after speaking to Mike (owner) about the safety precautions they are taking, I decided to book a massage late on a Thursday night. The massage was even better than I remembered. I came in as one giant human knot and left like a bowl of noodles. I feel so much better. I wish I remembered her name but honestly, you can't go wrong. They are all great. I observed all of the safety measures listed: Everyone wears masks (customers must wear masks too -- don't be a jerk about it, have some respect for hardworking people and just wear your forking mask), surfaces are sanitized, linens are washed and rooms are cleaned after every customer. And there are plenty of rooms so there is no worry about crowding. I don't know about ventilation but they always keep the back door open and the air always feels fresh in there. I felt comfortable and safe at 12 Hours. If you're feeling like it's time to start getting back out there, this is a great place to go. And you deserve it. Go get yourself a massage! read more

Worst massage I've ever had in my life. I've actually never had an experience so disappointing. My masseuse started with extremely light pressure on my back. I thought maybe she was starting off soft so I let her ease into it. About five minutes in, I gently asked if she could use more pressure and give a stronger massage, as I wanted to make my preference clear. She responded with "stronger massage is $10 more" which immediately had me fired up because I absolutely hate being nickel and dimed. Nowhere did it say this up front when paying, nor does it say online. I felt completely bamboozled. I started to assert that I should be able to ask for a stronger massage especially if the current one felt like light tapping, she then called the manager in to confirm, regular massage is $60, strong massage is $70. So I reluctantly agreed although I didn't really. I was already naked in the bed ten minutes into the massage. Well now my masseuse is just repeatedly digging her thumb in the same spot on my neck and it felt extremely tender and painful. I asked her to please use gliding motions instead of digging, she said you asked for strong, this is strong! I said this just really doesn't feel good at all... so they switched masseuses for me. By the time the next one came in, there was only about 30 minutes left. She came in with poor technique and poor pressure as well but was so sweet so I asked her to please just do 30 mins on just my feet. She did a very mid job. I had received a massage a couple months ago and it was actually pretty decent so I went back. This time it was horrible. It was so loud the entire time from the 24 hour fitness kids room that it's all I could hear. It was really disappointing. My therapist pretty much did compressions on the back of my legs for 90 mins. Barley touched any other part of my body. My neck hurts worse now than when I went in and im not relaxed at all. Also the therapist used 1 hand a lot of the time so I'm guessing she was on her phone with the other? I won't be going back unfortunately. Biggest waste of $130 ever. This place is more then 5 stars for the amount I paid and the small touches that came with it. My masseuse was Angela, I let her know where my trouble areas were and then she began. Now most places you go it's just your back half done for an hour and that's it. But not here. She did my back, arms, glutes, legs and feet and then to top it off rubbed me down with a hot towel and then had me flip to my front and she did my head, face, sinuses, temples, my breast plate, arms, thighs, knees, feet. The works! Then again also rubbed me down with ANOTHER hot towel! I honestly felt so good after I left, and when I exited the room she had a glass of water for me and I gave her a generous tip for such a peaceful and relaxing session. She had a strong deep touch and got so many of my trouble areas, I am able to move and breathe it's so nice and refreshing!! Definitely will be back and can't wait to tell my roommates and my best friend about this place. Side note: She was super professional. During the massage some therapists who had finished with there clients were chatting in the hall and she politely and quietly asked them to be quiet as she had a client.
