Great little restaurant. Nice employees. Pretty decor. Yummy food! Mongolian Beef was good. I prefer thinner strips with the beef cooked crisp. Egg drop soup has a fantastic flavor. The tomatoes are a strange addition. Sesame balls were very good. I'll be back for hot pot!

HOT POT TOP 3 Forget "Breakfast at Tiffany's," when you can have "Hot Pot at Tiffany's." Luxury hot pot atmosphere with the best lunch price value for what you get at AYCE all-you-can-eat for $20. I actually get their hotpot lunch menu at least once a week, like clockwork. Because it's just that good. What makes this hot pot special: Large cooked kitchen menu AUCE included in hot pot price. Including rare items, like; braised tea eggs, sichuan shredded potato, gyoza, Taiwanese style pop chicken nuggets, and more. Unlimited chicken wings, made fresh. And, the wet lemon pepper slaps. Meat portions are so large that I order half portion. Sauce buffet bar here is the best in Georgia. Super clean, refilled often, and even has amazing peppercorn oil 花椒油. Want my sauce recipe? Luxurious and cute interior space, filled with white marble and Tiffany blue tableware. Their house pickles are on the buffet and are super addictive. I eat about 3 large bowls per visit. My only complaint here is that the broths are very mild in flavor and meats aren't the highest quality --- but the value, price, cooked items selection, and sauce bar makes up for it. The beautiful Tiffany blue plating and white marble decor here reminds me of the late and lovely hotpot place in Taiwan, Jiu Zhai Shi Guo 九寨十鍋-中山旗艦店. This is the Buford location only. Other locations don't appear to have all you can eat hot pot. I still need to try their dim sum menu.

What a wonderful place to eat at!!! Been wanting to try this place for a long time now and boy let me tell you was it worth it!! All you can eat price is pretty decent for dinner $29.99. You can choose anything on the menu and from their dim sum menu also. It is such a cute place to dine in. Our server was wonderful and everything came out pretty fast including all the fried food. We definitely be back!!

OK, it's our first time eating here and I was completely blown away. The food is so hot and fresh. The food comes out pretty fast and it's reasonably priced. They have a sauce bar where you can pick up to 10 different sauces to add to your dish. I was very impressed with the staff as well. This is just a really clean restaurant that has great atmosphere.

Oh... my.... goodness. I've been personally eyeing this Hotpot/Bar restaurant for the longest time. Located conveniently in front of Sam's Club in Buford, this place is genuinely a hidden gem!! Every entree and appetizer we ordered came out FRESH and HOT!!! Not only that, all of the vegetables and ingredients were so fresh that it was sparkling. This place has earned an EXTREMELY SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART!!! They even gave us free ice cream. UGH, I have so much love for this place. 1000000/10

We got here right as they open first thing in the morning at 11. They offer AYCE Chinese style hot pot. They have the most affordable price all around. $20 for lunch on weekdays and $30 for dinner and weekends. This place is decorated with a Chinese Japanese Asian theme, with pretty cherry blossoms all over. This restaurant is brand new and so it's very clean. In fact when we walked in you can smell how fresh and clean it still is. It's a single building in the middle of the Sam's Club parking lot in Buford. I love all the large windows all around the building give it an air of openness. They have a mini sauce station to make your own sauce. Thought we came early and the service would be bad, but we were greeted right away at the door and he found us the best spot in the restaurant. The waiter was very accommodating and nice. Most all you can eat restaurants don't check up on you and rush you to order and leave but he took his time and kept checking to see if we wanted anything else. Because it was still early in the morning there wasn't much to clean after, but the staff went around and continued to wipe down the sauce, bar and the restaurant. They have the same menu for lunch and dinner, however, on the menu, there are a handful of items that are only served during dinner such as crawfish. Which is also all you can eat; there's no limitation on time or the amount of dishes, which was a plus. They had some cooked items too, that you can order from the menu in addition to the hot pot. Such as chicken, wings, dumplings, edamame, braised, fried rice, fried noodles, marinated egg, french fries, ect. Plenty to choose from. You get to choose from six different hot pot broth. We tried them all, and I preferred the golden spicy sour broth and the tummy broth. You could always add some more flavoring to your broth from the sauce station. I thought it was cleaner and more organized than most hot pot places. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely come back.

You have to go!!! We have tried every place at the Mall of Georgia and some are decent. This is phenomenal. Do NOT skip out on this place. Our group tried three different broth (each to our preferences) and we were all thrilled with the flavor. The options are extensive. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated and the staff were polite, professional, and helpful. We will be going nonstop during this cold weather!!

A true "hidden" gem, not sure why it's empty when we come for lunch, $20???? Absolute steal. Amazing selection and delicious. Clean establishment. Hope it doesn't get too crowded in the future.

I was told to come here since this is the 2nd day during their week of the soft opening. This is an AYCE Hot Pot restaurant with a ton of appetizers. This place is located off Hwy 20 in Buford. It's located at the old Del Taco fast food Mexican. Parking is very small and can be tight at busy hours as this isn't a typical Hot Pot sized restaurant. The size is as small as a McDonald's/Arby's. Walking in and finding the front desk to be seated is a bit confusing as this layout it for a fast food restaurant and not a sit down restaurant. The booths are small and seating is very limited. The tables are small so I can see it being a problem with a bunch of Hot Pot food with a crowd of people at your table. We were seated right away and said in an open area along with 2 other parties right next to us. Service was very slow as they were working out the kinks and figuring on what to do since everybody is new. I won't ding them for service at all. The variety for lunch when is priced at only $19.99 was an amazing deal which included all kinds of shrimp. I won't go into detail on what's all about there to eat but will attach the menu on here. One highlight is there are ton of appetizers that you can order that is included in the lunch price. The fried shrimp dumplings, fried pork buns, lotus salad, and fried shrimp were all amazing. I would skip the vegetable fried rice and noodles as it had 0 flavor and looked like a 5 year old had cooked it. The soup bases are okay as I got the Mushroom soup base. Sauce bar is tiny and lacking. The sauce bar ran dry as they just didn't have enough staff to serve everybody. I had to keep reminding them on what they forgot to bring us. I would say, a better ordering system and communication with the server and cook is much needed. One thing I would do away is the metal hot pot spoons. I burned myself many times as I always been used to plastic spoons at hot pot spots. All in all, this is a decent spot with a ton of foods for an awesome price. I will definitely be coming back to try out their dinner menu as there is crawfish! I am sorry I didn't take many photos as I was preoccupied with my little one jumping around.

Otherwise, I was dragged there. The second we walked in (June 2026), we could tell it was different! The staff welcomed us warmly, told us they were new owners and showed us how to order from our devices. No one disappeared until payment was due as we had experienced before. No paper menu checklists so less chance of them "forgetting" to bring out the more expensive selections which were available on an AYCE menu. In the past, I especially disliked the woman who seemed to always be there and who often appeared to be the only server. No one had ever taught her how to smile or be nice. It was so great, we went back less than a week later. It's no pricier than any of the others so as soon as we have enough extra money again, I want to go back.

IYKYK This is many locals favorite Sichuan style hotpot for a reason, even at the dinner price always of unlimited, AYCE = all you can eat of $29. My main complaint is that the crispy pork is not included in the $32. Under new management, Alina, the new owner --- proudly hails from herself and stops by almost every table to say hello. All of the broths here are made from scratch, and the house flavor is spicy beef. However, I visit for the fragrant and numbing golden broth. And, unlike other hotpot restaurants, the sauce bar here has even more complimentary numbing peppercorn oil available 花椒油. Best items here are: Broth... these are the best broth in Georgia. Handmade wontons, you can taste the difference. Fresh shrimp meatball paste, that is served in the faux bamboo with special spatula. Brown sugar rice cakes. Crispy on the outside, warm and chewy interior, covered in brown sugar syrup. Handmade noodles, which are chewy and dusted in flour. How to order: Scan QR code and order unlimited meats and sides, all clearly marked, then they are brought fresh to your table. No buffet here, other than sauce bar.

Each experience is just as enjoyable as the first, and the quality remains consistently impressive. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is also a wide variety of ingredients available to customize your bowl. Since everything is priced by weight, I recommend selecting only as much as you are prepared to eat. Having tried every option on the menu, my top recommendation is the spicy hot pot beef broth. It is extremely flavorful, though customers should be mindful when choosing their spice level, as even the medium option can be quite spicy. My second favorite is the dry spicy mix, shown in my photo. After experimenting with the different broths, this became my preferred choice. However, it is best suited for those who enjoy a drier style, and the spice level tends to feel more intense compared to the soup-based options. My third choice is the tomato beef broth, which was my least favorite personally. Lastly, the spicy and sour beef broth was acceptable, though it did not particularly appeal to my taste.

For our broth bases, I chose the Mara while my boyfriend picked the Deungchon-- both were flavorful and great choices. While waiting for our hot pots and meat, I checked out the hot bar, which had side dishes like tteokbokki, japchae, fried rice, and more. I had some dishes from the bar as little appetizers, and they were tasty. For meats, we mostly ordered the non-fatty beef, brisket, and rib-eye. The meat quality was good. My boyfriend also ordered a round of clams and mussels. I personally wasn't too interested because they looked a bit unappealing, but he said they were okay. As a quick intermission from the shabu, we both enjoyed the shaved ice dessert. Unfortunately, near the end of our dining experience, while finishing our last plate of meat, my boyfriend noticed something crawling on the table. He lifted the water cup and found an inchworm. We think it may have come from one of the vegetables we grabbed earlier. We notified our server, who simply squished it and asked if we wanted a new cup. We declined and decided to leave. The inchworm incident definitely brought the experience down significantly, even though it happened near the end of our meal, and it honestly made me consider giving this place only two stars. However, I'm hoping it was just an unlucky mistake because I otherwise enjoyed 9292 Shabu and hope they improve their sanitation practices moving forward.
