Very authentic Sichuan hot pot, with fresh ingredients and no pre-prepared dishes, highly recommended.

Handcrafted by a true Chongqing native, each hot pot base uses pure beef tallow simmered with over thirty spices for three hours--rich in CLA, oleic acid, and vitamins A, D, E, K--authentic, healthy, and flame-resistant.

The best and most authentic Sichuan hotpot in Atlanta! ! ! ! Super delicious. The ingredients feel delicious.

Delicious hot pot. It's perfect when the weather cools down. The food is fresh. The hot pot base tastes just like the one you'd find in Sichuan, China. I love it.

Wow!!!! 10/10 hot pot experience! The owner Alina was so hospitable and attentive, she made me feel right at home! The broth was so rich and flavorful, the meat and veggies were so fresh and tasty, it was amazing! I will most certainly be back but next time I'm bringing friends!

Before coming, you should definitely expect VERY typical Chinese service, meaning if you want something, you have to go and ask or just get it yourself. It's not offensive to them and it's also what they expect of you, rather than the American tableside service of waiters coming up to check on you every few minutes. With that being said, it's not unusual to look up and have trouble finding the employees (there was really only 1 main person who was both hosting, taking orders, and serving while I was there). It would also help to have a Chinese speaker to better explain what you want/need. The broths weren't as flavorful as I was hoping, but I have yet to find a truly flavorful location in Georgia (I come from the SGV in Cali, so IYKYK). However, they have a VERY vast selection of sauces, so it made the food taste good regardless of the broth flavor. Another hack for any situation where you have bland broth is to go to the sauces and make some broth base to throw into your broth--it'll amp up the flavor too. People do that all the time at Din Tai Fung in China. The mala broth with level 2 out of 5 spice level was barely spicy (couldn't taste it), so ramp it up for 3 or more, especially if you are used to actual mala broth (those of you who are accustomed to Chongqing level spice...go up to 5, you won't break a sweat). I do eat fairly spicy though, so if you're spiced out by kimchi then you should stick with 1 or 2. 3 or 4 is probably the usual Szechuan spice level in GA and 5 is probably a little more than that. The meats aren't the best quality--they're not particularly soft and flavor is rather bland (I couldn't tell what was beef, pork, or lamb!), but it's not awful. The fresh fish paste and shrimp paste are quite good, and the veggies are nice and clean. They don't give a whole lot at a time though, so if you're big eaters, plan to hunt down the employees and order often. Overall, this place is the best I've had in Georgia so far, but not by much, and a far, far cry from Cali. If anyone knows of any other AYCE chinese hot pot places in GA, let me know! I'm still on the hunt!

FOR THE AREA...its nice! Actually very great in my opinion because the authentic chinese hot pot options are not toooo vast in this area. For the experience and everything, i wouldnt say it's anything "special" .. just standard and authentic. There was a sauce bar and everything, but i noticed their chili oil had tons of whole chillies in it, which is pretty cool. We had a table for 4, and they sat us in the center. Water was leaking from the roof... they just told us to scoot over. We felt kinda weird by that since they were not busy at all and didn't suggest us to be moved. So needless to say, typical chinese service. But what can you expect anyways. My problem was more with the broth too. Mushroom & Spicy broth was chosen, Spicy broth was pretty good, but the mushroom was lacking any drop of flavor.. i dont know if it is me or what but i just have had a lot better.

At the end of the meal, so yummy!

The shrimp were delicious and prepared just like I'm used to. This dish is lightly battered fried shrimp with a soy sauce bases sauce with red pepper and black pepper spices. It also features other sautéed veggies like green peppers and onions. The shrimp were spiced nicely, but also had the flavor of black pepper coming through. A lot of places don't get that right. The perfect mix of that spice red pepper heat and hint of black pepper are exactly why I love about this dish. The shrimp were fried perfectly and the veggies deliciously sauted. The Haemul Jjampong was a flavor and spice bomb. The broth was so flavorful and had a great essence of the seafood in it (squid, mussels, abalone). This soup is also for people not afraid of the spice...it was SPICY, but no so much that it was unenjoyable. The spice complemented the flavor and I loved it. The take-home of the leftovers was just as good the next day! If I had to say anything that they might think of changing, would be the addition of kimchi to the banchan. The banchan was ddanmuji (pickled radish, raw white onions, marinated white onion slivers, and soy marinated peanuts). A little plate mat kimchi to wrap around the Jjampong noodles would be perfection.

My husband really enjoyed his jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle). To be honest it wasn't all the rave. it was decent but we definitely had better. However, it wasn't horrible either. The sweet fried pork was probably our least favorite dish. It wasn't bad! but it was just very basic. I like when restaurants use the mochi type of batter to make it more crispy yet chewy. They do have a big menu so I hope to stop by and try their other dishes.
