Great new location! I've had their Naengmyun at the other location. This new Suwanee location also has several new menu items that are exclusive to this location, such as the Bibimbap. There are also some soups I believe. The interior is very nice and clean. It's easy to order at the front with the staff and then they hand you a buzzer. Just sit anywhere and you can get water, silverware, etc yourself at the back. And then pick up your food when the buzzer goes off. It's self-serve and minimal staff interaction besides when ordering. I got the bibimbap in the stone bowl. It's a great vegetarian option. There's no meat. I'm very happy they have a good vegetarian dish here. It comes with 2 fried eggs, a variety of veggies and toppings, and a bed of rice. There's also a side of gochujang sauce to add to your own preference. It also comes with a soup and kimchi. The stone bowl here doesn't get the rice as crispy as some other spots. But it's still good and keeps the dish very hot the entire time while eating. I would recommend it if you like bibimbap. I didn't try the Naengmyun here but I'm sure it's good like the other location. Definitely a must try if you're a fan of the other location.

was genuinely delighted to learn that this beloved restaurant had opened a second location in Suwanee--a welcome addition to the area, especially for those who appreciate authentic Korean cuisine. Having already experienced their original location, I walked in with confidence, knowing exactly what I wanted to order. For my meal, I chose the Bibim Naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles)--a personal favorite. The noodles had just the right level of chewiness, and the spicy, slightly sweet sauce was perfectly balanced, offering a refreshing yet satisfying flavor profile. The toppings were fresh, and the presentation was clean and appetizing. Other family members opted for the Mul Naengmyeon (cold noodles in broth), which was equally well-received. The icy broth was flavorful and light, offering a cool and soothing contrast, especially welcome on a warm day. We also shared an order of Jjin Mandu (steamed dumplings), which were plump, well-seasoned, and delicious--making them the perfect complement to our cold noodle dishes. The overall experience was pleasant and familiar, with the same quality and consistency I remembered from the original location. It's exciting to have this restaurant now closer to home, and I'm already looking forward to returning to try more dishes with friends and family. A great spot for anyone craving authentic Korean comfort food in a welcoming setting.

Excellent naengmyun and Korean short rib BBQ quality! The combo was delicious and the taste was great and memorable. I got the mool naengmyun and L.A. Kalbi combo and it cost a little over $20. There are no tips required after the meal as it's a self serve model and the whole process was simple and efficient. This is a new restaurant and I had a hard time finding them on Google as I searched for Sambong Naengmyun Suwanee and the Duluth location showed up in results. To find this location in Google you have to search for "Sambong Suwanee". The ambiance of the restaurant is cool and spacious and relaxed! A few tips, they don't have barley tea but they have like a beef broth ginger soup that goes great as a drink and compliments the naengmyun well and is a great soup/drink to go with spicy dishes. My friend got the bibim naengmyun and short rib combo and said it was not too spicy and that it was also good. I look forward to trying that in a future visit. Overall, I give Sambong Suwanee a 5 star and two thumbs up! Great location right next to Cow Wow Korean BBQ. Thank you!

New location in Suwanee is clean and beautiful. Way more seating than Duluth location with a nicer atmosphere and design! Service was great!

The food came out really quickly and tasted great! The place has a clean and modern vibe with a unique interior design. I also liked that water and utensils are self-serve and everything looked spotless. The background music was calm and not too loud, which made the dining experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

The shrimp were delicious and prepared just like I'm used to. This dish is lightly battered fried shrimp with a soy sauce bases sauce with red pepper and black pepper spices. It also features other sautéed veggies like green peppers and onions. The shrimp were spiced nicely, but also had the flavor of black pepper coming through. A lot of places don't get that right. The perfect mix of that spice red pepper heat and hint of black pepper are exactly why I love about this dish. The shrimp were fried perfectly and the veggies deliciously sauted. The Haemul Jjampong was a flavor and spice bomb. The broth was so flavorful and had a great essence of the seafood in it (squid, mussels, abalone). This soup is also for people not afraid of the spice...it was SPICY, but no so much that it was unenjoyable. The spice complemented the flavor and I loved it. The take-home of the leftovers was just as good the next day! If I had to say anything that they might think of changing, would be the addition of kimchi to the banchan. The banchan was ddanmuji (pickled radish, raw white onions, marinated white onion slivers, and soy marinated peanuts). A little plate mat kimchi to wrap around the Jjampong noodles would be perfection.

But I knew there had to be a catch there was no way it could really be that cheap. When we arrived, my first impression was that the restaurant was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the service was pretty disappointing. The host sat us down without saying a word and simply pointed us to our table. After about five minutes, I finally flagged down a server who was much more helpful and explained how everything worked. The $19.99 option includes a limited selection of meats that you can order unlimited amounts of. If you want anything outside of that list, you'll have to pay more depending on the tier. The brisket and thinly sliced pork belly are self-serve you grab them from the freezer using the designated plates for each type of meat. Everything else has to be ordered through your server. Another catch is that not all of the side dishes are included, and even the rice costs an extra $1.99 per bowl. As for the food, it tasted like any other Korean BBQ spot. It wasn't bad, but nothing really stood out or made the drive worth it for me. I'll stick to the Korean BBQ places closer to home.
