My car took 1 month to be fixed. I took all 3 of my cars there and at first it was great then all of a sudden stuff started breaking that we had never had problems with. My new mechanic told me that there were holes in my oil pan. Tiny holes that someone drilled in! Then the oil plug was bent and only half way in. For a little over 2 years my car had been shaking when I would come to a complete stop & sometimes it was an intense vibration. I used to always take my car to the dealer to get maintenance done. I took it twice to the dealer they never could figure out what it was despite me paying for a diagnostic & spending hundreds of dollars. Then I took it to a local shop who claimed all the work they did would solve the issue & wasted another $700. After these 3 occasions I was hesitant to take it anywhere because it was simply wasting my money & nothing was being resolved. I finally decided give it another shot and to go 123 auto center because my uncle recommended it. I wish I would have came here from the start! Right away I explained the problem & even drove the car with a mechanic so I can explain & demonstrate what the car would do because sometimes it would only shake on very specific occasions. They figured out what was wrong with the car and the issue has since been fixed! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs repairs done. The last time I needed to get my car smog certified I found a coupon for this place. Went there and they got me in within 15 minutes. The car passed, but they also informed me that my BMW valve cover gasket was leaking (which I already knew I had an oil leak), and my rear brake pads were getting low. They quoted me a very reasonable price, but I wasn't comfortable not knowing if they had the experience working on BMWs. Fast forward a year, the oil leak was getting worse, so I went to my regular mechanic and asked them what they would charge me to replace the valve cover gasket. His answer was, we'll checkout the vehicle for $70 and let you know. Based on past experiences with them, I already knew they won't apply that $70 toward the repair because the last time I dealt with them I told them that was absurd - but they already had my car so I had them repair it. Mind you, I've spent thousands of dollars with them. So THIS time, I decided to give 123 a try. I had them replace the valve cover gasket, replace the rear brake pads and rotors and perform an oil and filter change using the best synthetic oil and filter. I received the car back the same day, the price was very reasonable - and it ran great! I've also waited three weeks to write this review as I have been checking for oils leaks in our garage every day since the repair, and I'm happy to report they did a great job on everything and I'm very pleased. Now I have a go to place for smog tests, oil/filter changes and I will always give them first consideration for repairs.... They are a no-nonsense, honest repair and maintenance business. I bought my 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid from Joe at 123 Car Buying about one month ago. I was on my way out to see another car at a dealership in Rancho Cucamonga when I found this car on my Cargurus app, which is a great app, by the way if you're looking to buy a used car. I decided to stop here since it was on the way and never did make it to the other dealership. 123 Car Buying is a small, family owned and operated lot. They had approximately 25 cars on the lot at the time I stopped in. All seemed to be in above average condition, clean and decently priced. The sales person, Joe, who happens to be the owners son in law, was above and beyond helpful and accommodating. He encouraged my friend and I to test drive multiple cars, which we did. I knew I was only interested in the Ford Escape but the service was so good that my friend actually considered trading in her Dodge Magnum for one of he Mercedes she test drove. I explained to Joe and the owner, Ed that I had a budget I absolutely had to stick to and they were more than willing to work with me and make the deal work for everyone. I was shocked at how easy and pleasant the entire process was. There were a few minor issues I had with the car, like a crack in the front window, but Joe and Ed assured me that they would take care of it at no extra cost. I purchased the car and picked it up from the lot a couple days later after they detailed it and replaced the windshield. I am now helping my boyfriend find a new truck and I've contacted 123 Car Buying to see if they can help us find exactly what were looking for at the price we are willing to spend. I originally Took my 88 Ford F-150 in because another shop failed to do their job correctly. Wasting my time and money! 123 auto repair did the opposite of that and offered me excellent service. Gave me the exact break down of what the issue was and also showed me what needed to be replaced. All the repairs were done in a timely matter and everything was done to perfection! The Work was nice and clean and noticeably. I was able to notice a difference Rite away! I can't thank James & Edgar enough for taking care of my truck since originally it came in running horrible. Baby came out of the shop a new truck. Also thanks for taking care of the Nissan Sentra the following week. That lil thing is running great and smooth with the new tune up and added suspension. When I came in to buy a car last year right before coronavirus hit. On the initial visit I got great service. Within a week of my purchasing the RAV4 2006 it started running hot. I called the owner told me to bring it in they thought it was the thermostat. Found out it was a blown head. The owner of the shop was very belligerent rude and he was using words such as you people always trying to get over. I don't know much about Motors meaning that I didn't know that there is two parts upper and lower. Well they did the work but they didn't complete the job. Now after I purchase the car and it was in the shop initially they had to keep it longer because of the coronavirus that shut down a lot of businesses. So in actuality I've actually had my car for less than a year. I need to replace the entire engine that was supposed to be in fixed. No I would not recommend this place because not of the Shady job they did but because of the rude attitude. Also im still paying on my loan. read more
