I always enjoy going to Petite Pump Room when I am back home visiting. The food is great and I love the views from the waterfront. Definitely recommend sitting in the patio area and trying food from the local dishes menu.

Glad I found this amazing spot for breakfast. Went there 2 times during our stay and probably will go a 3rd time before we fly out. Upon entering out where er ou want. There's a nice breeze in the morning. We've tried the French toast, western omelet, 2 egg breakfast, and everything has been delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. Im a coffee lover and enjoyed their coffee. Enjoy a mimosa or piña cola day while there. Its cool to see the sea planes land and take off from there as well. Parking was not an issue. The price for food is very reasonable. Two thumbs up.

On vacation found this spot on Yelp. Food was good. Seat yourself. Able to sit on patio overlooking the water. Service good. Caribbean food authentic but my daughter doesn't eat much of that so thankfully there was a ham and cheese sandwich with fries which she enjoyed.

    Awesome views.

Great local food - reasonable and good service. It's above the ferry dock. Good piña colada. Will definitely go again. Beware: closes a little early.

My family and I ate breakfast here. The food was very delicious the service was quick and the servers were very polite and friendly. We had breakfast on the outside patio and the view of the ocean and the island was absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful scenery from the Petite Pump

What a wonderful find! Beautiful views, excellent meal, lovely wine and even more outstanding service. Inspired joy from the moment we entered the restaurant, from the warm greeting from the proprietor to the engaging smile of our server. Must check this out if you are Charlotte Amalie!

Great views while you wait for the ferry. Attentive and friendly staff. Decent standard bar food, nothing fancy but good after a day of travel and needing something to eat.

Spotted this restaurant while driving around the area and wanted to see what they had to offer. Was greeted promptly and seated on the outside patio. Food options are not limited to just island food, so there's something for everyone. The conch was delicious. The family got the whole snapper and oxtail. Everything was good. Lots of sides included with entrees so you won't leave hungry.

In a place where highly priced restaurant dot the island, The Chicken Fry is a great spot to pick up lunch and dinner (no tables) and fill your beach/work hunger. We had 3 big plate orders of stewed chicken, white rice, and yellow plantains, also comes with a side of beans. The chicken was moist and juicy especially with the savory sauce it was cooked with, the rice wasn't dry, the plantains ripe and well cooked, and the beans were seasoned and spiced just right. Service was friendly, fast even with the constant influx of people coming in. Fresh food was coming from the kitchen even by 745pm. The interior is simple, no frills, and well lit. We parked our car on the street and it took us less than 10 min to get our order. The road may seem sketchy to outsiders especially at nighttime but we had no problems finding the place. Would come back to try more of their food and would recommend! Small plates are around $8-9, and big plates start from around $12. Our big plate with the stewed chicken. Rice, plantains and a side of beans were $12 each. Oxtail big plate is $18 . Cash and credit cards accepted.

The Vessup especially stood out, the cream on top was so smooth and delicious and just made the whole drink. They brought out fresh bread to start and it was so good (always a win in my book). For dinner, we went with the lobster with potato and broccolini and it was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were just on point. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was easily one of our favorite dinners on the trip. We were able to find street parking right upfront, but it can get tricky. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and by a beautiful view of the houses on the hills. The view and vibe alone deserve 5 stars. The issue we had was the wait time. We waited close to an hour for our food. If we weren't so hungry and tired after a day of exploring, we would have just cancelled the order and left. We tried the shrimp appetizer and it just didn't up meeting expectations based on the menu description. My friend had the mahi sandwich while I had the mahi entree with mashed potatoes and plantains. The mahi in the sandwich was a bit dry, but my entree was pretty good. However, definitely not worth the one-hour wait or the cost. We had a pretty large party with us, and they put together a table for us pretty quickly. However we were warned that the wait after our order would be longer than usual because of our size and accomodation. (Nothing a few bottles of wine couldn't fix!) The bar was stocked with basic essentials, nothing over the top but lovely enough to get everyone a cocktail or preferred beer/wine. The food menu had a good variety for everyone to have something interesting they could eat! Not everything came out perfectly, or even at the same time, but they were willing to accommodate everyone's needs and fixed a wrong order very, very quickly for us! Everyone who had ordered the mahi and salmon loved it, it felt fresh and zesty paired with onions and peppers. The shrimp dish was lovely and mild, as was the tamarind chicken. They were willing to accommodate some specific needs and made plain grilled chicken for someone who needed it. The rasta pasta had a bit of a little bit of spice to it, which was fun for an island take on pasta as a vegetarian option. They did have a vegan option with a veggie burger that came in a pita. The sides were all great, the fries and mashed potatoes were amazing, and the rice/beans were good as well. Unfortunately because we sat down close to 8, some menu items on the dessert menu were out. This lead us to the rum cake, which came out WARM and was absolutely delicious! If we stayed nearby again or needed a meal close to town, I would consider this a cute and reliable restaurant.

I was skeptical at first, but I ended up loving it. For the main course, we had the Filet Mignon ($68). The menu mentioned that it was served with honey spiced asparagus but instead came with carrots. It also came with mashed potatoes and a coconut green peppercorn sauce. The menu basically featured an array of proteins (chicken, shrimp, wings, salmon, etc) and sauces (jerk, creole, teriyaki, and the special shama sauce) you can pair it with. Sadly they no longer serve curry goat and they were out of oxtail the day we went. Each order also comes with choice of 2 sides. I ordered the jerk salmon with side of rice and peas and plantains.
