We stopped by 14 North right when they opened for happy hour, and it was such a great experience! The restaurant is really nice clean, modern, and gives off an upscale Fat Tuesday's vibe with a classy twist. Parking was super easy and close by, which is always a plus. We ordered the $8 margaritas, shrimp ceviche, and shrimp tacos ($11 each). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The margaritas were perfectly mixed and so refreshing! Our bartender Mel was amazing friendly, attentive, and very sweet. She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Overall, a great spot for happy hour fun energy, great food, and even better service. We'll definitely be back!

Ok lemme go ahead and agree - upper scale Fat Tuesday. But it was what I wanted at the moment, drinks and appetizers. Stopped here with my friend after work on a late night. Apps definitely give cooked from frozen, but they were decent and tasted good. The drinks were very good. Wish I could taste the alcohol a little more. Even my mojito needed an extra umph. Overall cute atmosphere. Great location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music and then a DJ. Nice and attentive servers. Could see this place jumping for a real late night

Came here mainly for the frozen drinks and they definitely hit the spot. The live music made it even better and gave the whole place a fun vibe without feeling too over the top. Service was good, everyone was friendly, and parking was easy with plenty of spots around. Nice place to hang out for drinks in Dania Pointe.

Me +2 stopped for appetizers and a couple cocktails. We ordered Calamari, Crab Cakes and Steak Bites. Perfect amount for the 3 of us to share! Inside and outdoors seating available. It was a beautiful evening and the music was too loud to have a convo without yelling so we opted for outdoors. Server was great! Crab Cakes were yummy, but not a fan of the 2 side sauces. Steak bites, calamari and side sauces were very good though! 5 doubles and 3 apps + tip was just shy of $200 which I felt was pretty reasonable. Plenty of free garage, lot and street parking available.

I have been here plenty of times and I must admit when they first arrived to the Dania Pointe plaza, it was a much better experience- now it feels very eh. My friend and I sat at the bar and the service was quick, the bartender was okay nothing to call home about. For drinks, we both ordered a strawberry and mango daiquiri mix which was amazing so refreshing in this summer heat. You have the option to add a shooter for $4. I wasn't starving this day so for I went straight for the main and for a southwest salad and added shrimp- this was amazing! Everything about this salad was tasty. I have revisited quite a few times in between and tried other menu items however the salad remains my favorite. The inside is clean and they have a huge bathroom which I appreciated. The service overall is hit or miss. 18% is added onto your final bill as well. I would be back but probably just for drinks.

Stopped here for a late lunch after an event nearby. I loved their menu options. I tried the crab dip, fried snapper and Superman. The crab dip included warm jumbo lump crab, melted oaxaca & parmesan cheese, pickled sweet onions and jalapeños with grilled pita bread and micro cilantro. Soooo delicious and comforting. It could be eaten on its own. The daiquiri is a mix of their dania blue, piña colada and strawberry fields. Very sweet which I enjoy in a frozen drink. The fried yellowtail snapper was the star of the show!! Served with belizean rice & beans, aji verde sauce. I omitted the beans and it was still so good. The overall service was great. We sat inside but there is also an outdoor area to sit. I will definitely be returning!

    Shrimp tacos so good

Really good happy hour. Joined with some friends for Halloween. We had great service and food at great prices. The daquiris look great but I opted for a Mojito which was delicious as well. The shrimp tacos were fabulous. The truffle fries are a huge portion and quite tasty. There was a DJ playing cool beats. We loved the ambience and hung out for quite a while.

The service was good, dj was excellent and the food was just what we needed. A great late night spot with a decent ambiance. However, their website says the business closes at 2 am but they turned the lights on at 1 am and kicked everyone out at 1:30am. Even telling people with drinks we are closed but you can take your drink with you.

Food was great and happy hours pricing was very reasonable! Highly recommend for happy hour and to try all the specials!

To my shock.. food was really good! Their steak nachos BOMB!!!! Service was average but good, no complaints. Conveniently part of the improv comedy club. You need to find the best daiquiri combo for you. These sugary drinks can be a hit or miss. I always opt to add an extra shot of dark Myers rum... if you want a true buzz you'll need to add the extra shot! During the weekends it's great when they have live music or DJ. Parking is plenty and they also have a valet service for $20 till midnight. It's a great spot!

The daquiris are good but the food needs major work. However, don't let that stop you from visiting for happy hour/a night out for drinks. They have great specials & live music on certain days. The daquiris are the perfect consistency, not watery & they don't melt quickly. I always mix 2 flavors. As much as I want to like this place's food, its just not worth it. I've tried steak bites, the shrimp hot plate & the smoked crab dip skillet. The steak bites are savory but need more bread, it's overpriced for what you're getting. The shrimp hot plate was underwhelming in flavor & presentation. The smoked crab dip is strange...watery with pickled veggies that don't compliment the dish, in fact they overpower it. Reminded me more of queso than crab dip, I couldn't eat the leftovers. They play a great selection of music, have dim lighting & leave the patio & front doors open, creating a great vibe! This is conveniently located for me so I'll probably continue to visit for happy hour. I've only sat at the bar & during my most recent visit, my bartender provided great service, I wish I would've gotten her name.

Frozen drinks are wonderful. The food was pretty good. I think the conch fritters could have used a little more seasoning. But the sauce was really good. It's a nice place to eat especially outside. Our server was great.

Came here with a group of 11 - they don't take reservations, but we were lucky enough to get sat right away. They advertise themselves as a daquiri bar and are set up with all the different slush machines behind the bar - they advertise 15+ different flavors to choose from. We ended up choosing the Hurricane - I've had better, but it was still pretty good. They offer multiple different sizes of daquiris, so just make sure to specify which one you want - they'll default you to the 16oz otherwise. The restaurant is connected to a comedy club, so the food is typical of what you would expect at a comedy show. The Island Bowl w/ Jerk Chicken was decent. While I wouldn't necessarily refer to the chicken as jerk chicken, it was still tasty nonetheless. Good service here. Our service was super friendly and efficient. Overall, this is a place I would stop by if I was in the area and looking for some food and drinks. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, though.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

The cappuccino I ordered was extremely disappointing: watery and tasteless, more like diluted milk. It honestly feels like there is no proper barista who understands how to make a good cappuccino. Things only got worse -- I had to look for a server myself just to get sugar, and after asking, it still took another ~10 minutes. We waited around 25 minutes for the Philadelphia rolls, which is already quite long, but the result was even worse: there was barely any cream cheese. The taste was completely off -- just poorly made rolls with almost no filling. I visited this place about six months ago and the service was noticeably better. Now it feels like both the service and food quality have significantly declined. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

At first, I wasn't too happy -- there were no outdoor seats available and the music at the bar was super loud. We ended up sitting all the way in the back next to a wall by the bathrooms, and the vibe there was just okay. Later, we moved closer to the outside and it completely changed the experience -- I enjoyed it so much more! The drinks are a little pricey but absolutely worth it -- we had the Tikki Kill and it was delicious. The music was amazing and kept the energy up all night. The couches are super comfy, the hookah service is great (they change the charcoal without you even asking), and free parking is a huge plus. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the night even better. The only downsides are that you really need to make a reservation ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you might end up stuck at the bar or in a less atmospheric spot. Also, there are only two gender-neutral restrooms, so there can be a bit of a wait.
