We stopped in to have breakfast! The breakfast food was great! Coffee delicious! Had a Pomegranate Mimosa so good! Christian our server was very nice, efficient and respectful! Such a nice place we sat outside with all the water fountains! Absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend this place!
Oh my goodness, I have to tell you about my experience at 150 Sunset in El Paso--it was absolutely amazing! First off, Dillan was our server, and let me just say, he was a total rockstar! He recommended the Prickly Pear Mimosa, and wow, I'm still dreaming about it--it's a must-try. He was so patient with my indecisive friend Susan (yes, the one in the blue jeans), treating her like the queen she truly is. Dillan is amazing. We are not use to drinking but thankfully he keeps the "mimosa" secrets in house! Josh (or was it John?) also jumped in to assist, and their teamwork made the whole evening feel extra special. The food? Stunning and so delicious! I wish I had asked to meet the chef because they clearly have magic hands in the kitchen. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great vibes, amazing service, and food that's just as beautiful as it tastes!"
This is such a unique restaurant in town! For the most part, a lot of the restaurants around here have the same kind of feel. The garden patio space here gives this space a unique ambiance and the outdoor misters are a plus on hot summer days! I had an appointment to get to so we told the server we were in a bit of a time crunch. She was able to place our order and get us out of there with just enough time to get down the road! The food was beautifully plated and the best food I had on my most recent trip! I highly recommend this place - the only downside was the parking lot was a little bit of a walk from the entrance.
Such a happenin' brunch spot! This was the first meal that I had after touching down in El Paso, and damn was it delicious! I arrived around 12:30 and the place packed (as expected). They use the Yelp waitlist which is super handy since it shows how many parties are ahead of you and lets you know when your table is ready. It took about 25 minutes but there are lots of comfy seats out on their patio that you can relax in while you wait. I sat inside but their patio space is beautiful! Tons of different places to sit and they're all covered for the most part. They also have a lovely outdoor bar with bar patio seating too. Their indoor space is very open, airy, and well lit. It was also a lot cooler inside, so perfect for beating that El Paso heat. Although it was a busy Saturday afternoon, service was attentive for the most part. It was still brunch time, so I ordered the Challah French Toast with a side of bacon and a Prickly Pear mimosa. First of all, can I have a round of applause for these portion sizes puh-leeeease?! Like wow! The Challah French Toast was thick, fluffy, and topped with fresh berries. It arrived to my table lookin' picture perfect too. The bacon was good and what you'd typically suspect. But let's get into that mimosa right quick. Love the fact that they use large wine glasses instead of skinny champagne glasses to serve them up. The most, the merrier if you ask me. The Prickly Pear Mimosa had a sweet and tangy taste which was nice. Also, can you believe that it was only $3?! If I had more time to spend there, I probably would have just gotten a carafe for $18! Hella cheap! One mimosa costs about that much where I'm from, so this was an absolute steal in my eyes. It seems like a lot of locals frequent this spot which is always a pleasure to see. I chatted with a sweet lady who was sitting next to me, and she said that she comes to the Kitchen regularly for brunch. I can totally see why! A wonderful brunch was had here at the Kitchen at 150 Sunset. If you're looking for a fun brunch spot in El Paso, this is the place!
The food is always amazing. The service has gotten A LOT better. Our waitress was so professional and continually checked to see if we needed anything. She had a great attitude and we were very impressed with her (Jaqueline). The new manager is very hands-on and he's always checking on tables and helping out to set tables and make sure that everything runs smoothly. So impressed!
We went to 150 Sunset on a Sunday morning around 11am. We did use the Yelp waitlist feature, but it was actually not as busy as usual when we went so we were seated immediately. The parking is a bit of a nightmare, but the business offices next to the restaurant do allow parking for 150 Sunset on weekends and after business hours. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, but felt a tiny bit crowded. Service was alright and we had everything we needed. Nothing to write home about, but also not neglectful or rude. The food was delicious. I ordered the breakfast toastie, which had bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns on sourdough. My friends all enjoyed their food as well, including the French toast, veggie omelet, and a breakfast sandwich. Overall, I'd recommend for a casual but still really nice brunch. My only true complaint is that I didn't love their latte, but there's a coffee shop across the street so you can get your caffeine fix there.
This establishment has a lot of nice charm. Tanya was our server and she was great. Even though it was the lunch rush, she made it feel like we didn't need to wait that long. She suggested the Peach Burger, which I was reluctant about based upon the notion of goat cheese with pork belly and peaches. My colleague and I tried it. It was AMAZING. Everything just worked together. Great food and wonderful people that work there. I hope to be able to visit El Paso again in the future and dine there again.
Huge menu, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating available. No wait to be seated around Sunday brunch time. Cheap mimosas but weird serving logic - can't have one in front of you unless you have food in front of you. Ohkaaaay, what's the reasoning for this? The fact that it's Sunday? Whatever the reason, it's dated & stupid. Also, they charge extra for credit/debit payments, again dated and stupid. Food & drinks are great! Update your business policies to the 21st century Sincerely, Literally anyone with a pulse.
The manager replied to my review and I hope by colorful language he meant he understood the point that their food does not meet exquisite taste. I attached pics. In fact the menus are basic. The use of good popular ingredients with poor execution to over price a menu is theft. Use the facts I have given and adjust ingredients and develop the execution of complex flavors. If the truth hurts I feel it's your staff that is suffering and you're the problem. Do better. Adding a sauce or practicing dry and moist cooking methods are skills you can learn from watching a cooking show.
Brunch fries are delicious! The dressing on the salads for the 150 Sunset is so flavorful and fresh. We had the passionfruit martini and it is the perfect summer drink. Absolutely recommend it! I think it was a special. Our server was Adrian and he took such a great care of us! Type of service you hope for whenever you eat out. Great place for brunch!

We really appreciated that after speaking to the manager about an issue, he listened and for our trouble he gave us free dessert for the entire family. This place doubles as an event venue as well as a nursery, so it's worth it to explore. Ambiance - Rustic feel but very classy and elegant. It's no wonder many weddings take place here! Service - Quick and speedy, but I also went fairly early for Sunday brunch which meant less customers overall. Food - Had the 150 omelet and the breakfast quesadilla. Both were nothing super special but were decent and made for a great Sunday brunch. Serving size wise was a bit hefty (I actually wasn't able to finish the breakfast quesadilla!) and pricing was reasonable. I've actually been avoiding this place for the last couple of years since I didn't have a good experience food wise then, but I'm glad that I was able to give it another try! Let me first say that the decor is on point. We found this gem on yelp and it didn't disappoint. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Fantastic brunch spot! I've been here about 3 times since I've moved to El Paso and it has yet to disappoint. The mimosas are always a solid choice. I believe they have 6-7 flavors? I usually go with the grapefruit but I tried the peach last time and it didn't disappoint. The ceviche is always our go to for a starter. I will say that some times the tuna is cut a little bigger than other times we've had it, but overall it has the perfect amount of lemon. The focaccia Benedict was superb. The brisket had a lot of flavor! Last time we came we were quoted about an hour wait. It went by much quicker than that. They took our number and texted us. It was just enough time to walk over to 2Ten and enjoy a pre-brunch coffee. read more

WOW. Best patio dining experience in El Paso by far. If you didn't know, 150 Sunset is not only a kitchen, but they are also a banquet venue and are landscaping specialists. As 150 Sunset states on their menu, "Creative Food with a Healthy Twist" and I couldn't agree more. I came in for lunch and tried the Tuna Ceviche and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The Chicken Salad was a bit dry in the sandwich, despite being served in a croissant. I would like to give credit to the Tuna Ceviche. The ceviche was delicious, refreshing and the perfect summer appetizer. What made it so unique was the cucumbers. Pretty sure they could have added watermelon to this and it would have elevated this plate. read more

Who loves breakfast? Guilty as charged. The kitchen at 150 isn't just any old place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This is an entire estate...A nursery, a kitchen, a gift shop, an outdoor space, and an overall event venue. The operation itself it quite impressive. As beautiful as the property is, I'm solely here for the food. Challah French toast, when executed well, might be my favorite breakfast item of all. Unfortunately I can't say this was a good version. The toast does have a nice sear. The flavors themselves were absolutely on point. Not sure if it's nutmeg, but there is a unique ingredient is this batter that sets it apart. Unfortunately the one criticism that pretty much negates the entire dish is the challah itself. To be frank, the bread was stale. A good challah is not required to be knifed through like a piece of steak. The Kitchen has a lot going for it, so I won't be a complete grinch. Ill be willing to give it another go. read more

Where to start for this great brunch restaurant. The food is really good and the portions are that of a true meal so don't underestimate them. The service is always friendly and helpful. The ambiance is one you could hardly beat with the option to dine in or out in their beautiful garden like exterior. On their busiest days dont be surprised to do some waiting, like on the weekends. Have come here frequently since it opened. Service at lunch on a not too busy Sunday was just awful. Had to ask three times for virtually everything. Case in point, Ketchup. Wouldn't a waiter anticipate and bring ketchup along with any entree that included french fries? How about cream and sweaters when delivering coffee to the table? Nope, not here. 20 minute or longer wait for each after reminder after reminder. The person who delivered the food can't get ketchup? Says, "ask your server." Really? Doesn't consider himself a server' after serving the table plates of food. ?? Have none of these people ever eaten out at a restaurant themselves? Really poorly trained, lacking any intuition and completely clueless. Food is fine. Just don't visit when it's busy. read more

Why didn't anyone tell me this place exists in Hell Paso?!! It was my first time here last weekend after a very long hike, and I'm def going back!!! I'm taking my girlfriends here for brunch next time. It's hard to find places with mimosa around here, but this one is at the top of the list! Wow, I've tried three different flavors while waiting for our table. I think my fav is the watermelon mimosa. The food didn't disappoint too. As far as the place itself, there are a lot of sitting areas while you wait. This place has a relaxed atmosphere where you can dress casually or show up all dolled up and still blend in. I came back 1 week later after hiking Mt. Cristo Rey and had a quite a negative experience. I do not know if part of our bad experience was because we came with comfortable hiking cloths or what but the Costumer Service was terrible and our food was cold. When arrived we knew we wanted to sit outside by the TVs and after waiting to be seated I approached one of the staff cleaning the tables, she said I had to go inside to ask. I went inside they asked our whole party to come inside, made us walk all around the real to bring us all back to where we were originally at. Our waiter Robert when getting our drink order did not wait for me to finish speaking and left. I was ready to order appetizers and Mimosas. Our food arrived cold. I did not love the "Huevos Rancheros" the sweet cheese sauce do not go well with them. Breakfast Tacos also I do not recommend. Cold and the tortillas taste too much like low quality store bought. Overall, our waiter did not visit our table but once, when I requested a Mimosa he said he could not serve due to Texas law, I asked why dis the person next to me had one, he said because she had food in-front of her. I did too but I did not feel like arguing all I replied was "Well, that's interesting" and looked at my food. When he brought us the bill I immediately pulled out my card and was ready to pay. At this point I was ready to leave due to the negative experience, our waiter never came back for the bill, I had to take it to the hostess. After this experience I will likely not come back at least for a good while. I give it 2 stars because my previous positive experience and the place looks nice otherwise just 1 or none if it was possible. (Original Review 5 out of 5) The Kitchen at 159 Sunset is a lovely restaurant on the west side of El Paso Tx. The name is genius for it is the restaurant's address and makes sense because it is kinda in a hidden location. Now there are other restaurants near it and little plaza mall but it is not as open for everyone passing by the I-10 the freeway to know where it is. The concept of this restaurant rocks. Modern yet relaxed and family friendly. They have a beautiful outside garden with relaxing fountains where you may sit by to have your meal. The awesome thing about this restaurant is that it is dog friendly, you are allowed to bring your dogs and have them with you while you are having your meal. They will even bring a bowl with fresh water for them. LOVe It. Service dogs are allowed inside, the rest only outside. What it is not awesome is that even if your pet behaves indoors it is not allowed inside and thats not nice in a hot summer day. The food is delicious with perfect servings. Not huge yet not tiny. Healthy. The menu is not huge yet it covers the basics in delicious food ways. Do check before you go because they host events where they close the whole place. read more

This is our second time coming here for brunch. Came here on a Sunday and they have a different menu for that day, see picture. Restaurant is split with a large event room and restaurant. Very cute decor and nice outside seating on a patio in and out of the shade. We ordered the breakfast tacos ($10), fruit and granola bowl with steamed milk ($6), and eggs Benedict ($11). We also ordered cheesecake to go ($7). Breakfast tacos were delicious and would highly recommend. Note you have to pay $2 to get bacon on them. Granola bowl was a nice side, healthy option but nothing special, and eggs Benedict were tasty but they were very scant on hollandaise sauce. Service is friendly but a little slow but it may be because they have always been busy when we come. I'd recommend coming here. It's the best brunch place in the El Paso area that we've tried. read more

I love the place! We are coming home from Florida by driving a car and stoped by this place for lunch. Since we gained an hour from east coast we got there around 11:30. We have two dogs so we sat on patio. I ordered French toast and today's soup:green chili potato and bacon, and my husband ordered veggie omelette and a half stack of pancakes. Mine was great. Nice soup and French toast was huge and use fresh fruits. His pancake tastes nah, but his veggie omelette tastes good. It seems like a popular place so expect to wait unless you sit outside(there were heaters). The service was a bit slow and we had to ask one of waitress who started serving other group came after us. Also they served me a cup of decaf with someone's lipstick on it. That's why one less star. read more

Kitchen at 150 is one of the 1st restaurants we visited when we moved to El Paso In July of this year. The reviews and the food photography are amazing but that is it. The coffee was sadly not good, the pumpkin latte tastes nothing like pumpkin, my vanilla latte was too strong and the food was tasteless. The proportions are small and it's a shame because the restaurant itself is very nice looking and inviting. Our server was kind and understanding but the check was expensive. read more
