GREAT place for brunch! The location has a great vibe, nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. It's nice to see families meet, college kids meet up with their parents, groups of girlfriends getting together, couples enjoying the ambiance. There is always a good mix of people. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Their menu items are great and have an enjoyable twist. I'm a bit hooked on their guacamole and zucchini fries. I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far. The classic burger is juicy and the beef has a great flavor. The southwest scrambler also had a great blend of flavors. I added bacon strips on the side. It did not disappoint. The flavor of the bacon was a great addition. Everything tastes better with bacon! I was simple with my drink order and had an orange mimosa (several). Great flavor. Makes it difficult to get just one. They do offer other flavors and flights along with many other cocktail choices and beer. I recently tried the steak and eggs, a new menu item. You have options when you order. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon (of course), and toast with my medium steak. The eggs were delicious and so fluffy. The flavor of the bacon went so well with the eggs and the potatoes. I like steaks. To me, the flavor of the steak was missing something compared to the rest of the plate. This has been the only time that I have not finished everything on the plate. I'm sure the seasoning of the steak will improve . I'm not saying the flavor was bad making the steak inedible. The flavor was just not to my liking. This does not stop me from returning and I still highly recommend that you stop by. I haven't gotten to the prices! I have been to brunch in many places across the country and in Texas. Sadly, many are disappointing and seem to feel that because it's "brunch" they can over charge for their plates and especially their drinks. I am so glad Nomel does not. Chilaquiles mi amorrrrrr.... yes please! I visited this weekend with a dear friend, and we had such a nice brunch! The place is modern, nicely decorated & has great service. Our server was welcoming, made nice recommendations, and was quite attentive constantly checking on us & refilling our drinks. I went with this chilaquiles divorciados recommendation- did not disappoint, I got 1 extra egg to sneak in more protein, and a caramel capuchino. My friend had the same, but with a vanilla capuchino. Good brunching at Nomel. Another spot that's close to the homestead. We popped in, tried out a few brunch-trees. They serve good coffee and Liz love the feel of the place. It was well lit, and the interior design of the furniture was functional and stylish. Our server was nice and made sure to check on us. I didn't have to ask for refills on my warm morning beverage, and neither did the kids I ordered Uno Chilaquiles, with red AND green sauce. It was not bad. The eggs were cooked to order and came out the way I asked. I enjoyed the green sauce better than the red. The beans at the bottom were pretty good too. Maybe add some crema drizzle to soften the acidic taste of the sauces. Plus I might add another protein...but the dish was plenty filling as it is. My kids enjoyed their dishes. The cream cheese toast and 'chicken and waffles' were filling and tasty. My kids really enjoyed their plates. I saw some other dis sbon their lunch menu that I would come back to try. We ordered pozole and French toast. The pozole was extremely greasy and the meat had a very disgusting taste. The French toast was like fried in a fryer, the toast was soak in grease, I squeezed a small piece and got at least half a teaspoon just from a small piece of the toast. We couldn't eat this food. We didn't ask for any discount but they didn't charged us for the pozole. Decided to finally try this place after church. Great variety of food options. Pictured are my chilaquiles and the rest of the group tried many different things from the southwest scrambler and all American breakfast. Daughter tried the chicken and waffles. Everything we tried was so delicious. Chilaquiles were both good. Just enough spice for flavor but not where they are not able to be enjoyed. Chicken and waffles are so light it was surprising. The service was fast and server was very nice. Informative with any questions we had on the menu. Great music playing in the background (80s jams). Music isn't loud enough to not carry conversation. Nomel Restaurant - A Brunch Experience Worth Repeating I've visited Nomel Restaurant twice now for brunch, and I have to say, it's quickly becoming one of my go-to spots in El Paso. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a unique twist on your typical brunch menu, this is definitely the place to check out! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming, and the service is friendly, consistent, and attentive. The staff makes sure you're well taken care of, and the atmosphere is laid-back yet inviting--perfect for a leisurely brunch with friends or family. First Visit: During my first visit with my friend Armida, I was actually a little under the weather, so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the experience as much as I would've liked. However, even with not feeling my best, I could still tell the food was incredible. We shared the truffle fries, zucchini fries, the Nomel Burger, and a club sandwich. Every dish was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous--definitely not your typical brunch fare. I ordered the Carajillo, and it was one of the best I've had in El Paso, up there with my favorite from Café Central. Armida had a virgin Bloody Mary, which she said was delicious as well. Despite being under the weather, I could tell that Nomel was a place I would return to--and I wasn't wrong! Second Visit: A couple of weeks later, I returned with my friend Yoshi, and this time, I was able to truly appreciate everything Nomel has to offer. The menu had a few updates, and I was thrilled to see that they still had the zucchini fries, which were just as crispy and delicious as before. We also tried the Honey Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and it blew me away! I don't usually like buffalo sauce because of its overpowering vinegary tang, but Nomel's version was perfectly balanced with honey, giving it a mellow heat and a slightly sweet kick. It was absolutely amazing. Yoshi went with the Nomel Burger and added an extra patty. The burger was huge, juicy, and perfectly cooked, and I loved the bacon jam they use--adds so much flavor! My son was with us too (we were heading to the pediatric clinic next door), and he had the chicken tenders & fries. While the portion was a little smaller than expected, he said the tenders tasted like his favorite wings from Track One, so that's a big win in my book! Service That Stands Out: One thing that really stands out about Nomel is the service. Even when the restaurant got busy, the manager, Marcos, stepped in and personally checked on us. He was genuinely interested in hearing feedback about our experience, and when we mentioned that their bubble waffles could be even better with a mochi-style batter, he was excited to learn more and improve. It's not every day that a restaurant manager is so engaged with customers and open to suggestions, which really made me appreciate the place even more. Final Thoughts: Nomel is in a location where previous restaurants didn't succeed, but I believe they've truly found their footing. Their focus on high-quality ingredients, excellent customer service, and a constantly evolving menu makes it a place worth returning to time and time again. The fact that they close at 4 PM for brunch but host special events in the evening is a smart way to stay busy while offering something unique for the community. Warm and welcoming. The menu is varied enough to allow for ample choices but limited enough so that each dish has a just prepared deliciousness. New local place! We were excited to try this place! We're day drinkers and drinks were great. I was a bit disappointed that the morning glory drink did not have foam as described on the drink menu. My mocha martini also did not have foam even though others did, so there was a bit inconsistency in drinks. $14-13 drinks. Bartender said they simply were not offering foam at the moment which seemed strange since they went out of their way to list foam on the drink menu. Despite this, drinks were still great! Really top tier drinks! Zuchini fries were okay. They didn't look very appealing but they were okay. Had southwest scramble and i thought it was really flavorful with the sauce. Husband had avacado toast with egg and he seemed satisfied. I dont think it was what he was used to but it was okay. Very cute place! Server was nice yet not very attentive. My waffles were good but needed more fruit, more powdered sugar and very little syrup is provided. My husband ordered the recommended chilaquiles but had no cheese and definitely lacked in flavor. Plus only served with one egg and cold. Out and about -impulse stopped at Nomel. Very good atmosphere - very clean. Reasonable prices, service was beyond reproach -and the ingredients are fresh. We were looking forward to lunching at nomel. Parking is a challenge. We were greeted immediately upon entering. Our order was delivered to our table in about 20 minutes, which I thought was a bit of a long wait for a salad and a club sandwich. My husband's sandwich looked great. I was a bit surprised by my Caesar Salad because there were NO croutons and there were grape tomatoes (halved). Never have I ever had a Caesar Salad with tomatoes. Never have I had a Caesar Salad without croutons. The wait staff were courteous and attentive, but I'm still wondering about that Caesar Salad and the 20-minute wait.
