This is my hidden gem of 2024! I came across this small bagel shop while running errands and decided to give it a try. When you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to a bagel shop in NYC with the smell of fresh bagels greeting you. The bagels and cream cheese are made in-house, and you can definitely taste it from the first bite! Although I was a new customer, I couldn't help but notice how the staff greeted other frequent customers by name and asked how their day was going. You can tell this shop means a lot to the community and I can't wait to go back!

Best bagels in DFW! I'm kicking myself for waiting this long to try them. I came here on a Sunday morning and people were constantly coming through but luckily I didn't have to wait in a line. It's an order and go type of place so no tables to sit. Great to pick up on the way to work. I ordered a lox sandwich on an onion bagel, an egg and sausage sandwich, and an egg and bacon sandwich, both on everything bagels. They make it to order so the sandwiches are hot and fresh, wrapped in foil. I also grabbed some extra bagels. Had to try out their French toast, cinnamon raisin and sesame bagels for later in the week. The bagels have a nice crust without being too tough. It's the perfect bite, soft and chewy without giving my jaw a major workout. In Taiwan, we call it the right amount of chewy "QQ" texture :) I'm a sucker for an egg + sausage anything so this will be my go-to from now on but I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors and sandwiches! So thankful to have a great bagel place nearby.

Born and raised in NYC, this is the closest NY bagels you could get in DFW . We got there at 10:30am but their first batch of bagels were already all sold out so we waited 40 min for their second batch and it was worth the wait!!! Freshly baked bagels were perfection! I'm so happy we found this place.

The best Northeast style bagels in the area. And that's because the owner is from the northeast. So glad we have these guys here.

We were starving so stayed and had catfish plate and smoked turkey sandwich. This is the first time we were not super satisfied with our meals. Maybe it was because we were looking forward to brisket tacos & chicken & waffles. We had great service from Nathan! We grabbed some meat to bring home. We were very warmly greeted by a gentleman who I think must be an owner or major stakeholder. He gave us a quick history of the place and was fast to recommend the prime rib po boy sandwich. We ordered one to split, and it came with seasoned fries. The sandwich came out quickly, and the meat was tender with just the right amount of slightly spicy horseradish sauce. Yum. I definitely want to come back for the signature prime rib on a Friday or Saturday. That meatloaf sounds tempting too, and the brisket mac and cheese caught my eye. Looks like I will need to come back a few times.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.
