We're in town for work and decided to try this place on a Tuesday, having no idea it was taco night. What a nice surprise! There is a special menu, though you can still order from the regular menu. The place was busy (seems to be a local favorite), but it is large inside (a beautiful space!) and we were seated right away. I don't often comment on drinks in a review, unless there is something really remarkable (good or bad) and the drinks we had were fantastic! The bar tender(s) here really know what they are doing. Hubby had his usual Bacardi & Coke and for once you could actually taste the rum! Very nice. I ordered Lizzy's Strawberry Lemonade and it was excellent! If you like something refreshing, this one is for you. After looking over both menus, we figured why not go with the taco Tuesday vibe and ordered tacos. Hubby went with 3 beef (ground beef, cheese and pico sauce on the side as we requested) in hard shells. I went with a steak taco (steak, cheese, onions and cilantro on a flour tortilla), one beef and the pork belly in a flour tortilla. They made a mistake and sent out a steak and cheese taco (think kind of like a Philly but with steak chunks). Our server caught it and brought me out the pork belly. The verdict? Absolutely yummy! Where we are from down south, there seems to be an Americanized Mexican place on almost every corner. You probably know the kind. We never order a "steak anything" from those places because the meat is always overdone and like shoe leather. Not here!! The steak on both of my tacos was cut in chunks and super tender. All the meat tacos came with a nice amount of cheese and it was melted (a nice touch). But the star of the show for me?? Oh my that pork belly taco!! The pork belly was crisp (not overly so) and cooked in this amazing Korean BBQ type sauce. It was topped with a pineapple salsa that really balanced the dish out. I could eat several of those 3 times a week if I could. The service was fantastic (if you are there on a Tuesday, ask for Sarah). Super friendly and the timing on the meal was perfect. We would definitely come back when in the area again, in fact we might go back another night this week to try the regular menu! read more

Arrived at 5 on a Friday (friends mtg made reservation). 5 or more employees gathered as we were seated. Minutes passed by. No connection, hello, be right there, welcome..... table near us seemed waiting also. They went and inquired of a waiter / waitress. There was comments of sorry, shift change when a waitress came to us. We ordered appetizer. Co-dinner friends arrived. We ordered dinner. It felt like we were rushed.. Hovering occurred.. desert question asked and my husband (fast eater) had not eaten 1/2 dinner.. Food was good. Joy was missing Rushed was evident Noise from outside dining increased. Bills were left on table then. Waitress hovering but no refill on drinks... Both tables on either side of us were comped for issues that occurred. All in all not a relaxing time. The food at this restaurant was excellent when we visited for the first time a few weeks ago. We just moved to the area and thought we'd try it out. Service was spectacular. We sat at the bar and have had hit or miss service at bar seating over the years at other places because they don't seem to have any process for order fulfillment and order management, but the two bartenders were amazing. They clearly enjoyed working with each other and are professionals at their jobs. They were friendly and talked with us but didn't stop to goof off at all. They kept order turns moving while making a little small talk. I really like that they didn't spend too much time with any individual at the bar and that they kept working. I can't imagine how tired they were by end of their shift! Ambiance is great. We're looking forward to trying their outdoor seating when it gets warm enough to do so. Size wise, this place can manage large groups but be sure to call in advance so they can staff accordingly. It looks like there's a banquet room and that they can also accommodate larger groups in the main area. They really hustle. The owner was nearby, checking on things as the evening wore on. He and his team are running an excellent establishment. We look forward to going again. read more

Some improvements have been made, the menu is slightly different than my last visit. We came in at 6:30 on a Saturday, and on this occasion, we made a reservation for the patio, and let it be known that we would have a trained, leashed dog with us. The staff was very accommodating, we were greeted with smiles at the door, and shown right to our table. our server was great. She made sure to take care of the important guy first, with a take out bowl of ice water, and was timely with checking up on us, as well as the support staff. The food was brought out in a timely manner, was still hot , and well made, the drink specials were done well too, and we all felt comfortable and welcome. It was a very enjoyable experience that left my fellow diners declaring that they will come back to dine again. read more

We have been here a few times and enjoy the food. Friendly and quick service. Love that tater tots are an option. (As of my last visit) They have Monday night burger specials and Taco Tuesday specials. Both are great deals and quite delicious. The only thing that keeps us from coming back more frequently -- and this is personal preference as we are not huge sports fans other than Tigers -- is that there are tvs all over the restaurant like a sports bar setting. We just avoid times when there are playoff games. That's probably a draw for a lot of folks but it's jut not our thing. read more

They have a great atmosphere here. The live music is nice but note even with a reservation we had a wait and were not guaranteed a seat on the patio (and did not get it) but you can hear the music throughout the restaurant. The live music was the only reason we drove all the way here and didn't get to see it. All our food was served hot and fresh. The egg rolls were very good! The soup was delicious. The salad was cold and crisp. The chicken pasta wasn't bad but my husband thought it tasted like the sauce was tomato soup based versus a creamy traditional red pasta sauce. The Peruvian chicken bowl was excellent. The cilantro sauce was so good and very cilantro forward which I loved! The raw tomatoes were yummy in this dish. I would definitely get this again. The cake slices are HUGE! We had more than half leftover to go. The dessert while impressive in size was not very good. The ice cream served with both was good and we would order the ice cream, however the chocolate cake was very dry without eating it with ice cream. The frosting was on the thinner side in between the layers and didn't help with the dryness. The carrot cake was okay, it had chunks of pineapple in it. The nuts were only on the outside in the frosting so thankfully didn't have to pick those out through the cake. read more

The food came out FAST, which was impressive being that it was dinner time. For my drink I got the adult capri sun. This is made with Ciroc Red Berry, Ciroc pineapple, peach Schnapps, sour mix, and lemonade. This drink was fantastic but I was disappointed to find out it doesn't come in the capri sun looking pouch that other bars serve. One of my friends had the sliders which were delicious and very filling. They have garlic aioli, onion straws, and cheddar cheese on them. My other friend ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbread, which he said was good, but pretty average. I had the ahi tuna wrap. I thought it was pretty good but wish there was a little more of the sweet lemon cabbage slaw on it. I would come back and sit on the heated patio next time! read more

We went on National Quesadilla Day where they were have a special with 3 different quesadillas. We ordered the Birria and the chicken quesadilla. Sorry, for this being late, two weeks late from my first visit. Planning on going again this week BECAUSE.... While the parking lot needs work, everything else was excellent. Clean and hospitality at its finest. We felt very welcomed walking in with the staff acknowledging us and welcoming us. Being it was a Tuesday, they did a Mexican theme from drinks to whatever Mexican entree you desire. Before the food came a trip to the bathroom was needed, very clean. Our first visit included a huge size pretzel with several dipping sauces. Delicious! Burgers were prepared as we ordered and also Delicious. (See a pattern yet?) Last night we came back and started with drinks. I ordered the Buffalo Trace Honey Old Fashioned, loved it. My daughters boyfriend had a Coors Light, on tap and a tall one at that. Wife and dughter just wanted water. For a appetizer we had a Southwest style Eggroll. Then on to dinner, Ahi Tuna rollup, Quesadilla loaded to share and a Rice bowl with steak as the protein. The sliders are good, but I had to ask for extra garlic aioli, as it was very lacking in condiments. They accommodate many dietary restrictions. Came in for Sunday brunch with my brunch crew. We were celebrating my birthday so I made it more fun by dressing up in witch costumes. The place is beautiful inside and we ended up sitting in the enclosed patio area. Nice and warm and they had a cute fall background to take pictures. We all decided on bottomless mimosas and I ordered the southern waffles. It was chicken chunks, on a waffle with an over easy egg with crumbled bacon and syrup. It was really good! Restaurants are opening back up after the lock down and are very busy. We aimed to eat elsewhere, but wait times were too long. I was super happy after our experience! This restaurant has a super laid back vibe and offers a heated patio option for seating, which is perfect for social distancing! The menu is a mix of pasta, craft burgers and bar food. There is something for everyone! I enjoyed the Steakburger with tots and was super happy with it. The burger was tasty and well prepared. You have the choice of kettle chips, tots, or fries for a side. My husband got the chips, which was a small portion compared to the tots that I ordered. The burger was so filling, though, I couldn't eat most of the tots. The service was great! We were seated fast and our particular server was very attentive. We will be back! read more

Today this place kind of fell flat, it was the burger, sorry to say it wasn't that good (dry overcooked). Well they were half off so I gave it a shot, the burgers look pretty good and they burn the top of the bun with their logo, fancy. I did also add onion straws and then I got a side of barbecue and that helped, but the burger for me today was a No-No. The pictures on Google look good, when you show up not quite the same. Sure maybe I'll give it another shot, try the patio or sit somewhere else, try something other than the burger. Hopefully it'll get to my standard of four stars that I usually go on Yelp. I'm a creature of habit which means I never get to overly adventurous especially with restaurants but their menu makes everything sound so tempting. So far I've had the stir fry twice (habit) it was good, I've also tried a salad with grilled chicken, again it was good but tonight I went a little on the wild side and ordered the Tuscan chicken ... it was perfect and will probably become my habit every time I visit 15th Street. THE BEST BRUNCH EVER!!!! Their breakfast menu is amazing, we drove from an hour away. I had the breakfast burrito which is fantastic. It had every type of breakfast meat (bacon, ham, sausage), eggs, cheese, and tortilla strips grilled inside. Then they cover it in queso cheese with plenty on the plate next to it to make sure every bite is covered. It was fantastic. My girlfriend had the fruity pebble covered waffles with blueberries and ice cream. It was fantastic. We are both full and enjoyed a delicious Irish coffee to start the day. We'll be back! Also, we sat in the large heated patio in 5 degree weather. It was super warm with us both being hot in hooded sweatshirts, and we got to soak in some natural sunlight. Route 15 is sparsely populated with restaurants heading North out of Clarkson. Well it is sparsely populated of everything, it's the country! So with a rainy evening in front of us, RW and I decided to burn through a Christmas gift card and try 15th Street Tavern. Packed on a Saturday night including the mega tent with live music. But don't be put off if they offer to seat you outside. The music is not intrusive and the tent is plenty warm. Being more drink oriented we waited at the bar which was small for a place this size and packed. A few high tops wouldn't hurt to expand the bar space and crowd. The dining area has a bit of an antiseptic look (think nice banquet hall, but nicer of course.) I'm just sayin. Now for the food and drink. It took some hanging around but RW and I secured 2 seats at the bar. Drink orders were taken pretty quickly with RW having Tito's and soda in an un exciting rocks glass with lime, and me going all hoi polloi with a Grey Goose martini on the rocks with BCO's. Both were well done and I had another Martuni just to make sure the first wasn't a fluke! It wasn't. For food we had Ahi Tuna which was great and cheese curds which also were great. Sort of City meets county fare. Oh and a passable Pinot G and Pinot N to wash it all down. We missed the music being inside but enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. $100 later we were gone. I brought company from Oregon, and we all ordered the steak burger upon my recommendation. There is something magical in that perfect burger + steak + gooey cheese + sautéed mushrooms & onions under that cheese, all held together on a toasted bun of substance! Anyway, our burgers, fries, tater tots, and coleslaw were FABULOUS, served fresh off the grill and fryer. Also fabuous was the friendly service by Mia. I also had a very tasty Bloody Mary, well-dressed with bacon, a huge green olive, and a nice length of celery with my meal. The menu lists so many delicious options, and watching the food coming out of the kitchen made me know that I MUST try other offerings at 15th Street Tavern. In the words of Arnold, "I'll be back." It was all very good. Katie: I went basic today and got a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was in small bite size pieces, just how I like it! I recently stopped by for lunch and some outdoor dining. Their patio is a huge covered greenhouse with exposed walls. There were many heaters around and the staff did a good job of keeping them going as the outdoor temperature was a chilly 28 degrees. The service and food were okay. The prices are a bit high: $11-$13 for a salad or a sandwich. They have pretty good ranch and the kettle chips are awesome. I recommend ordering a salad if you're eating outdoors because then you won't have to worry about it cooling down! Overall, a decent experience but there are probably better options in nearby Clarkston at this price point. read more
