    BBQ and Sushi

We had the sushi and bbq dinner experience. I loved the torched salmon it was delicious and I also really enjoyed their thinly sliced marinated beef the most! It had a sweet soy marinade and it was fatty and cooked super quickly! I also enjoyed their corn cheese a lot! The servers were amazing at watching over our table and making sure that our orders came out quickly and that our finished plates were cleared away. The interior felt like a great place to have a party! It was clean and the setup was nice.

The food tastes great, there were lots of choices specially for the sushi rolls, it was really tasty. It is our go to sushi buffet every time we crave for sushi. The service was fast and efficient. A must try sushi buffet.

168 Sushi is a popular destination for those seeking a high-energy, all-you-can-eat experience. Known for its extensive menu, it goes beyond just sushi to include a wide array of Thai, Korean, and Chinese dishes. The iPad ordering system is a standout feature, allowing for fast, seamless service that keeps the food coming fresh to your table. While the atmosphere is lively and casual--perfect for large groups or families--it can get quite loud during peak hours. Overall, it's a reliable spot for diners prioritizing quantity, variety, and speed in a modern setting

We came here on a weekday for their AYCE dinner menu and were happy with the variety of options on their menu and the quality of the food. They offer Winter Special menu which includes "Japanese-style BBQ Tiger Prawn Skewers" (1 per person) and "Torched wagyu Sushi with Hollandaise, Black Truffle & Caviar". They also have salad bar including seaweed salad, sweet corn, tomato, romaine, variety of dressing and desert bar which includes tiramisu, mango pudding, mango drink, ice cream and a vegan option. We ordered shrimp tempura, salmon teriyaki, beef teriyaki, green dragon roll, red dragon roll, spicy salmon roll and sashimi. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. There's also a private room available for private events; which adds to the positive atmosphere.

We came here to try their AYCE menu. Really like how you can directly order from the IPad. They have a wide variety of selections. Their sashimis are so fresh and good portion size. They always have a full stock app and dessert bar. It's was really good to go there for some quick bites while waiting for our other food to arrive. They also include sodas as a part of the price. Really recommend coming here, as it is one of the better sushi ayce. The service here is okay. Nothing too special or unusual. The atmosphere is good. Typical restaurant vibe. It has a large seating area. You can also see robots serving customers.

Very great value, especially if you go during the lunch special. The sushi had a high ratio of rice and cheap fillers like tempura flakes much like any AYCE sushi spot, however their beef and seafood items were all wonderful and fresh. I was quite surprised that their galbi was cooked to perfection and their salmon sashimi came in nice thick slices and were very lean and tender. I would certainly come back to this place, don't sleep on their desserts. They have a SHAVED ICE MACHINE with awesome topping like lychee jelly and red bean. I liked to add their tasty icecream/desserts on top of the shaved ice to make a sort of halo-halo/bingsoo. I left super happy, i recommend coming here with friends and taking the entire time limit, not a bad deal at all.

Visited 168 Sushi for their anniversary promotion that's been going on weekday lunches which was under $30 for AYCE lunch. The selection is a bit more limited but gave it a try since it was my first time here. AYCE Sushi: The quality was decent for the price we paid for. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary but wouldn't complain. The service was quick to get your orders in. Overall, I had an alright experience here. I wouldn't go out of my way to 168 sushi but it's an alright option if you happen to be in the area and craving some sushi.

This was my first time ever having torch sushi and I was so excited . The torch salmon was great. The pressed sushi was also good. I really enjoyed the sashimi and for specialty rolls the 168 roll was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was my friend's first time having sushi and she inhaled it . The special Wagyu Sushi was so good; Melt in your mouth. Minus the asparagus in it . Texturally I didn't like . But that's my personal prefernece. Also, the best takoyaki I've had from a sushi joint. Lots of options for everyone. I liked the salad bar as an option. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely go back. Normally I pick the sushi restaurants but I'm glad she suggested we go here.

The food is really good and the variety is great for the price you are paying, service really just depends on the day you go, sometimes it's great sometimes it's okay. The place is not very small but not very big, tidy for the most and a great place to come if you want to try many things!

    Watson C.

In terms of affordable all-you-can-eat options, this restaurant is of very high quality. The sushi has good quality, and the vegetable tempura is also well-prepared. The prices are really reasonable, and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try. 以平價all you can eat嚟講,呢間店舖非常高質。佢壽司quality唔錯,蔬菜天婦羅亦都處理得好好。價錢真係非常抵,高度推薦大家嚟試吓。

168 used to be our frequent location for Japanese AYCE. Recently we revisited the place again and it's still very nice place for sushi and sashimi. Ice creams are very good too, especially like the green tea and vanilla flavour here. They also have salad bar which you can help yourself. The live vibe here is very nice too.Menu items are offering a variety of options. Service is above average Chinese restaurants, recommended since they are having an anniversary special price right now, good value for the price!

This has been one of my very first sushi experiences here in Toronto. For those who enjoy visual and tactile experiences like seeing the food and getting what you want on their salad+dessert bars, it keeps this traditional component of this buffet experience. As they adapt to modern day innovation, they integrate the use of a tablet where customers can order their stuff and the food can be delivered by a robot. When I visited last week, I noticed that they have a shaved ice cream station wherein you can create your own dessert with toppings and sauces. Also, they have fruit punch and peach drinks too.

Tried this place on a weekend lunch and place was half full. This place blew up on social media for its cheap price so I am glad I was able to get to try. They don't offer sashimi for lunch menu, which is understandable, but they do have a TON of other Chinese and Thai dishes like sweet and sour pork and even DIM SUM which you can order from the AYCE menu. I found this to be a unique take on AYCE for the restaurant which definitely makes it a favorable option for those who aren't huge on sushi and would like to try a variety of cuisine. The quality of the food is on par, nothing noteworthy. Worth coming back due to the sheer variety of food options. Needless to say, I was left feeling

We were also informed it would take about 20 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 40-45 minutes due to the lunchtime rush. Totally understandable though, and the manager was very apologetic and even gave us a $5 coupon for our next visit along with our box. When the food arrived, the presentation of the tasting box was absolutely WOW.. it was so beautifully done. We were honestly just too hungry at that point to admire it for long. Unfortunately, I noticed the first roll I picked still had cucumber in it, and when we flagged it, the staff immediately looked into it. It turned out there was a miscommunication about the substitution, and most of the rolls in the box had cucumber. The manager personally came over, apologized, explained everything, and immediately took care of it by offering to remake the box without cucumber and providing a full refund, which really went above and beyond. Despite the hiccup, the service and care from the team really stood out. Mistakes happen, especially during busy lunch hours, but the way the team responded made a big difference. For example, the black cod is usually feel heavy with the miso based sauce, but they added some acidity to the sauce and they made the black cod taste rich and light (not to mention the black cod was perfectly cooked); traditionally the Brussels Sprouts would be finished by tossing balsamic vinegar over it. Sometimes that would still feel heavy. Instead, they tossed it with strawberry vinaigrette. So the acidity is very light and not too sweet. We finished our meal with the Yokai Signature Maki. Yes, they SHOULD be proud of this Maki enough to put their name on it. They hit it on the nail with the taste profile. I have a zero tolerance with spiciness, so they put the spicy mayo on the side, and I encouraged my wife to dip the Maki with it. She confirmed my suspicion that the spicy mayo took the maki to another level. We definitely will come to try other dishes. Edit: they comped us a slice of Matcha Cheesecake. While it is still not my cup of tea, but I was very impressed with how good it taste. My "dislike" is with cheesecakes because they feel heavy. Though it is still on the heavy side for me, but as soon as I spoon in a bit of the strawberry sauce, it just lightened up the whole thing.
