I'm so grateful this place is 24 hours and in a good neighborhood because I tend to wash my clothes in the evening time. There is a front and back entrance and parking on both sides. They do take "pay range" which is basically an app you download and load money into so you don't have to worry about loose change. My biggest complaint is recently I noticed they started locking the lint removal tray for the dryers and it says on there "to be emptied end of day". I came around 8pm and the lint trap was filled and what should've took about 20 minutes to dry took double the amount. As well, the washers had visible hair and dust around the doors so whoever is in charge of cleaning the machines isn't doing a great job. Im not sure if locking the link trays is a tactic for people to spend more but an accumulation of lint is a severe fire hazard. read more

This is going to be a novel- you've been warned, haha... I am local and used to drive out to Gardena to another 24 hour laundromat for years, this place is only a few blocks away from my apartment so I was really excited when I first found out it existed about 6 months ago. I like the pay range app a lot and I appreciate that it is usually free of trash etc. That said, on multiple occasions I have felt unsafe and been harassed and asked for money incessantly by unstable homeless people who are not customers. About 3 months ago, a homeless man came in late at night and started stripping off his clothes (yes he was shirtless scrubbing armpits etc at one point) and had no problem using the laundromat communal sink to "shower" . After asking me for money and yelling at me when I said I didn't have any to offer him, he started washing and organizing his belongings in the the sink and laying it all out on an entire row of folding space for hours. I was honestly terrified when I noticed he was washing and polishing several large knives and a sledge hammer... especially because all of my clothes were just finishing up being washed and soaking wet... they hadn't even started in the dryer yet. Sadly I still have no choice but to continue to come here but when I do I have pepper spray visibly strapped on my wrist lol. read more

I frequent 18 Minute Wash when my washer/dryer breaks down or when I need to wash my comforter. I like that the facility is clean and has parking both in front and in back. they have baskets on wheels that can help cart your clothes to and from the washer and dryer. It was previously a coin-only operated laundromat, and now they have incorporated PayRange, an IOS app for laundry service. Nice because you don't have to deal with a bunch of quarters! They have small, medium, and super large washers onsite. Loads range from $2.75 to $6.50, and the dryer costs $0.25 per 7 minutes. They also offer fluff and fold service, but I've never used it. read more

It's a small laundromat and the coin machine is supposedly broken. I suspect it is to make you use the Payrange app. If you don't want to use it, get your quarters elsewhere. The large washers are $6.50 and only four of them. I don't know what is actually 18mins since I saw more time than that on some of the washers. Maybe it's 18min for one of the tiny loads that you can just handwash at home yourself. The parking lot in front is partially under construction. There is parking in the back with a few spaces in front of the laundromat. And it's narrow so watch out when you back out. read more

Owner only cares about making $$$$... Owner is ok with endangering the lives of his employees and customers.. Laundromats are considered an essential business. All businesses, particularly essential businesses, need to protect the health and safety of their customers. LA County COVID-19 signs about wearing a mask while in the business are posted at the front and rear entrances. Several people were not wearing masks and the attendant stated it wasn't her job to enforce the LA County mask requirements. When police arrived, they had the attendant call the owner. Owner did not want them to do anything about people not wearing masks. Masks being required is listed on YELP posting. This should be removed from YELP posting since owner does not require people to wear masks. Left message for the owner regarding mask wearing and owner has not returned call. Came here a few times but it was not to my liking so I stopped coming. Some machines don't work well and leave your clothes dirty, others take your money and some don't dry your clothes. Conveniently located and not a bad crowd come here is the only thing it has going for it. read more

So, I'm writing this review not so much about my own experience, but of an experience I watched another customer go through while I was here. I was waiting for someone to finish with the coin machine when a woman (who I assume worked there) starts grilling the woman who was currently using the coin machine. First, she asked us if we were together and that we both couldn't be getting quarters if we were. We were not. Then she proceeded to ask the woman in front of me how many machines she's using. The woman tried explaining that she had JUST walked in, hadn't loaded her clothes yet, and was unsure of how many machines she would need. She tried explaining this multiple times to the employee, who just didn't seem to understand the situation at all. The employee then blatantly tells the woman she's lying, and I quote: "no you're not doing your laundry here." At this point I intervene because she's actually hassling this woman, and I try to reiterate that she was in fact doing laundry here and that she just hasn't started loading machines yet. SHE STILL DIDN'T BELIEVE IT?! It took this poor woman actually going over to her laundry baskets across the laundromat and physically showing the employee her baskets before she would drop it, all without an apology. I get that there's a coin shortage, but this is NOT the way you get repeat customers. This was my first, and last time using this laundromat. read more

I just moved to the neighborhood and was happy an all night laundromat is nearby since my machine broke. The place is completely unattended so how can they claim they follow public health guidelines. There are four jumbo ($4.25) washers, four triple ($3.25) and 15 double ($1.75). 20 dryers ($0.25 for every 10 minutes). Pretty clean. Change machine takes up to $20.
