Everything we ate was flavorful, cooked well, the spice was present but not overwhelming the rich flavors in the dishes. I haven't stopped craving their dishes since we went weeks ago now! Cashew Korma and the 65 (with baby corn!) were so good I would go back just for them. Love that they have lunch hours, and the lunch boxes. read more

Some nice pictures on the walls and warmer lighting would go a long way to create a more inviting atmosphere as it's an older space. Maybe some soft Indian music playing in the background? The dishes were quite tasty - biryani, chicken tikka, etc. Most memorably, while we were waiting for the food to be prepared (just a short wait), we chatted with the friendly young host. He graciously gave us a couple warm chais and offered us helpful menu recommendations, all while he handled phone orders coming in. I ordered mutton chettinad and naan. I expected better with the reviews this place had but to my disappointment, the dish was not authentic chettinad flavor, it was also too salty for my liking. With a perfectly thin shell and delicious filling which was the right amount of salt and spices. Tikka chicken Marsala was out of this world good! And when I asked for spicy they definitely didn't hold back! Which is exactly what I was looking for! Chicken was tender and the veggies were fresh and not mushy. Rice was beyond perfect!!! Garlic naan was fresh, fragrant and the perfect add on to our meal. Portion sizes are perfect and everything is so fresh and delicious! Service is amazing. It seems like a small family owned business which is what I love as we all need to SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!! Please go and eat here!!! I hope they stay open forever!! Wow. This restaurant has only been open 2 weeks and the food is incredible. Best Indian restaurant I've tried in the US. Only compares to meals I've had in India. We ordered several dishes and insisted on spicy. It certainly was spicy but in a good way that didn't detract from all the other flavors. The biryani and Chettinad dishes were my two favorites. Also, their Irani Chai tea was excellent. Never had that anywhere else. Helpful to have something sweet to sip with the spicy meal. Very tasty. Mostly stuck to more common dishes (butter chicken, biryani, naan, samosa) along with a few that are less so (their 555 appetizer, lamb rogan Josh). The biryani was particularly good. The lamb was different from what I'm used to, but it still was good. None of the dishes were disappointing. The only complaint I had was that they didn't get our take-out order correct. The shorted us an order of garlic naan but gave us extra samosas. So we called it good. read more

It's so good though, I'm not joking, but prepare to experience this for the next 48 hours in ways you cannot comprehend. Our family of 4 went on a journey that began mere hours after ingesting this scrumptious feast and lasted through the quiet hours of the night and into the next day. However, as this was the second time we've ordered from here it is clear no lessons were learned. The food is incredible and we will be back. Mussay finally an Indian place that actually delivers on the flavor profile in the pdx metro area. The place has a staple Indian menu for all the butter chicken and saag stuff. It does offer some unique Andhra dishes and they do stand out compared to similar offerings elsewhere. Very good food! Excellent quality, flavor and presentation. Service was good, slight delays here and there but nothing to prevent us from coming back. The one notable issue we had with the experience was completely avoidable. The staff seemed to have a practice of spraying a heavy dose of a very strong air freshener throughout the dining area. This happened twice during our visit. The smell of the spray was overwhelming, irritating and completely unnecessary. The restaurant smelled fine without it. I would kindly suggest that the spray not be used again and the dining experience would be greatly improved! read more
