Took a trip out to the burbs to try the best chicken sandwich
Christopher P.

Came here for the Eagles vs Cowboys game. The atmosphere was very lively, definitely a go to spot for sports events. I had the chicken sandwich here, it does NOT disappoint. It's definitely up there when it comes to the best tasting chicken sandwiches in the Philly/Philly suburb region. I definitely recommend it, especially if it's your first time here.

Great food, poor service! Came here on a Saturday afternoon, around 2pm. The place was definitely steady but my not overly packed. We had family members sit down first and they were told that they're short staffed. (Perfectly fine, we will order all at once and make sure we ask for everything so they're not running back and forth) The bartender came to take our order, my boyfriend and I was sharing appetizers so he ordered us the Buffalo Chicken Wings and Stella's Chicken Rolls. I then chimed in and asked whether we could have ranch and if they are able to do wings all flats, but if not it's no big deal. Immediately the bartender got a pretty unfriendly demeanor with me, and started telling me that him and is co worker is working the floor and that they are short staffed. Went on a whole spiel of who was working upstairs. It was definitely uncomfortable, all he needed was to tell me no, which I had even explained to him it's no issue if they can't. So to summarize it, do not count of good service here. I understand being extremely busy and short staffed, there was no need for the attitude. He also gave my boyfriend an attitude because he thought my boyfriend was ordering a beer when he was just looking around so he got short with him regarding what he wanted to drink. The vibe was definitely a "I'm doing you a favor by serving you". The food was on point. Even though we only ordered appetizers, both were very good. We ordered Buffalo Chicken Wings, cooked perfectly, crispy and meaty. The ranch dipping sauce was very good, I loved that it was not runny and the perfect consistency. The absolutely star of the show were the Stella's Chicken Rolls. Could eat a few plate full of those. They were filled with chicken thighs which are marinated and sautéed in hot sauce, jalapeños, and copper sharp cheese. Wow, bursting of flavors! Perfect texture for the eggrolls, I love the cheesiness and spiciness of the eggrolls. Must order!

Fast and attentive service. Excellent fresh sushi! Neighborhood favorite. We stop every time we're in Conshohocken.

Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure

Amigo Dan and I stopped here on our day of 5000 cheesesteaks. We order two drinks and a cheesesteak to split. We were told that we needed to get 2 food items. I asked what is the cheapest thing on the menu. The waiter responded, 'wings are on special.' I looked on the menu and right next to the wings was Guacamole. I ordered the Guacamole. The waiter left. The waiter returned. He said Guacamole doesn't count. I said fine we'll take the wings. The waiter left. The waiter returned. He said the wings didn't count. We left. Ironically I took my sign selfie next to a painting on their wall that said, 'Whatever the ?, Love is the answer.' Middle of the afternoon. One person there eating.

Orange crunch role

Just finished golfing and wanted a quick bite and was very satisfied with this place. It's pretty charming spot with many friendly locals. Our server was pleasant and quick. I ordered orange crunch role and it was excellent. I heard Tuesday's they have buy one special role get one free. Reason I gave this a 4 star is it nothing really surprised or excited me and it everything was expected. Will come back for sure though.

Our whole group got food poisoning from their tacos on taco night. Service wasn't great either. Won't be back.

Yes. Just go. Food, drink and vibes are all on point. The only negative is the parking but you should be able to figure that out.

I will be dreaming of these tacos. I searched birria and…read morethis is the first place that popped up. Don't let the outside fool you, it's tucked in behind a bigger building and it's inside the pizza shop but that was easily the best birria I had on the east coast. The corn tortilla was actually crispy which was a big bonus in my book with the perfect salty bite. The shredded beef was beyond bountiful; so savory and perfectly balanced with the fresh onion and melty cheese. The consume was rich with perfect notes of acidity and spice I double dipping into the hot sauce which made for a perfect bite. The green onions were killer not everyone does that super good. Barely finished 2 tacos they are stuffed! 3 tacos and a soda came to $20, well worth it. Also customer service was good, the guy at the register and cooks were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend eating here.

As the youths say, "Very 'mid' "…read more The 4.6/5 Yelp score persuaded me to try this place instead of our usual favorite, El Limon. We ordered the shrimp tacos, the veggie tacos, and a large side of guacamole. The shrimp tacos were the worst I've tried. Three tacos each with approximately one underseasoned shrimp cut into tiny pieces, topped with chopped tomato, jalapeño, onion, and a tiny bit of cilantro, drizzled with chipotle mayonnaise. The shrimp was tasteless and the portion was tiny. The pico de gallo was as average as it gets. Not to mention the tacos at El Limon come with beans and rice for the same price, these did not. I got takeout and had homemade corn salsa, pickled jalapeños, and hot sauce in my refrigerator, thank god, because these tacos needed some flavor. My boyfriend ordered the veggie tacos and didn't say much other than he disliked them and proclaimed Lili's a "one and done."

We really liked the atmosphere too. We ate the aracinis for an appetizer and for entrees we had the short rib pasta and the salmon. We would definitely come back. The one suggestion I have though is to have at least one high chair on hand. Our three year old could manage on the normal chairs but the table was a little high for her.

But then when I was looking up their burger week menu I came across the valentines menu and it looked good, so I figured I would give it try. My husband's dinner was alot better than mine so I was eating some of his, even though we always share anyway. He got the oysters with a dragonfruit sauce and they were good. I ordered crab and corn soup with grilled focaccia bread. The soup itself was fine , but it was only half a bowl and not much crab in it. I would have liked more soup instead of the bread. I gave the bread to my husband because we got a good amount of bread for the appetizer and I didn't want to fill up too much. I probably should have ordered the calamari instead , that looked pretty good. My husband's scallops with risotto was very good. Seared perfectly, creamy risotto, good flavor. Normally that is what I like to order, but I got the crab pasta because I love crab. I was disappointed In this dish. The crab tasted a little too fishy like it went bad or something. I also got a number of shells in the crab I had to spit out. I feel like they could have mixed the crab with some kind of seasoning or flavors. It seemed like they just dumped the crab right out of the can into the pasta and didn't even clean the shells out first. And they didn't even put the pasta in any kind of sauce. I would have liked maybe a creamy sauce with it. The pasta was just in like a watery garlic broth, and it broke apart and crab went all in the water and I didn't even have a spoon to pick it up. Dessert was ok. I'm glad we got the dragonfruit cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake, it was refreshing . The tiramisu wasn't bad but it was still somewhat frozen. I was kind of surprised because we are fans of the Pieri group restaurants. We have been to their sister restaurant Stonerose for burger week for a number of years now and love it. We also came to burger week at bar sera the one year and really enjoyed theirs too. I wish they did them separate weeks so we could go to both . Maybe it was just an off night tonite. Sometimes valentines menus aren't as good as their regular menu. Maybe we learned our lesson to go out the week before valentines instead for next year.

It was very hard to leave the parking lot due to it being full and cars trying to find parking. I had to back my car up to get out. Next time, I will either park closer to the entrance/exit or park on the street. The wait was about 10 mins. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating due to the temperature. The food was very good, esp. the guacamole. We got the coyote guacamole and it is probably one of the best I've ever had. It's very creamy and smooth. They give you salsa and chips for the table. The salsa does have a bit of a kick. We asked for 2 refills for the salsa and chips - they charged us the 3rd one. We also got the mix tostaditas, house traditional nachos for two (added grilled chicken), salmon taco, and fajita todos. We were too full for dessert but the dessert options look good. The service was ok. We did have to flag the server a couple of times. The decor is very interesting. I would definitely come back again.
