Terrible food experience. Might as well buy and cook the same food at home. Food was raw and full of fat, barely any meat, and also very unseasoned.

This is one of the more relaxing Hall's restaurants in Fort Wayne. It has a unique old style tavern feel. You will find many of the same menu items and tastes here that you do at the other Hall's. The Tavern is a very large restaurant. They have an attractive bar area and lots of comfortable seating. They even have a large 60 person room that could be reserved for a rehearsal or birthday dinner!! The facility is dominated by wood walls, floors and fixtures. The facility is older but in great repair and very clean. The team here was right in top of things. There were plenty of staff on this visit. All were friendly and helpful. The menu is very large and diverse. You will find many items and recipes that are common to the other Hall's restaurants. We started with onion rings. This recipe is common to Hall's. The onion piece is somewhat thin with a lot of breading. The greasy taste dominates the ring taste as there is not much seasoning flavor. The ring is fairly crispy. I ordered the popcorn shrimp salad. This was very innovative. The popcorn shrimp was very good, thoroughly cooked and moist. A nice shrimp piece coated with a crisp breading. The salad came with a cup of cocktail sauce in case you wanted to dip them. The salad part was a fairly basic salad. Fresh lettuce and side vegetables. Nothing outstanding but a good-solid choice. The honey mustard dressing was delicious. I really liked the breadstick that came with the salad. It had a soft inside with a slightly crisp outside. The crust was buttery and had a slight garlic flavor. My wife loved her Sawmill Cobb salad and the lemon-honey dressing. This homemade dressing was outstanding.

Dude, if you eat at a place long enough you will encounter a badstafg and Thursday night was it . This, place usaly is great. Food service price it rocks . The,atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. So .. I was very disappointed with the crap I experienced . To the kitchen put salt on the steak as it cooks . To staff . Serve the food HOT .simple. One thing that they did consistently is make a very good old fashioned. And on Thursday it was very very good so 5 strars to the bar

We were passing through on our way to Michigan and stopped to have lunch - their were plenty of cars in the parking lot so that's always a good sign! Our server Tina took care of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much! We will be back if in the area!

Cosmos always has plenty of staff, great service and speedy food preparation. I tried the tenderloin based on recommendations from the Tenderloin FaceBook group. I ordered a breaded tenderloin. It was moderately thick - not pounded to a thin layer like a lot of tenderloins. The meat was very moist and tasty. The breading was a bit thinner than most traditonal tenderloins. It was darker in color with a saltier spice taste. The sandwich came with all the usual add ons - lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, ketchup, mustard. I really liked the sandwich!!

My wife ordered and enjoyed three eggs , hash browns and a really tasty biscuit! I, on the other hand, had the Philly steak. It was almost inedible! Instead of the traditional shaved tender steak, this one had big chunks of chewy beef and a tasteless cheese sauce on a bun that fell apart in your hands. It came with lemon rice soup that was good and outstanding French fries. The manager stopped by the table and I mentioned my disappointment. She immediately offered a substitute and I chose The Cosmo Egg Benedict that was extremely satisfying. All in all everything worked out well and I'm sure that we will return.

Salsa Grille is The Shiznat!…read more Seriously. I wish there was one closer to home. Similar to the Mexican fast-casual, you do down the assembly line, starting with what type of food item you want (tacos, burrito, a bowl, salad, etc) and add your proteins and veggies and sauces and assorted toppings as you go down the line. You've been to these places before. One of the things that stand out for me is the variety of items available. Yes, they've got chicken and beef and barbacoa, but they also have chimichurri chicken, which is an absolute stand-out item. If you're unfamiliar with chimichurri, it's chicken that's typically sautéed with finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar. That leads to a very green colour, but the taste is (insert chef's kiss here). I typically get mine in bowl but vary the toppings over time. As you go down the line and add your toppings you're basically creating your own meal. At the end of the line you're handed your meal on a tray and each order comes with a small bag of freshly made chips and you can chose from any one of about ten different types of salsa. I've tried most of them, my favorite being the tomatillo because it tastes so fresh, but they're all made fresh in store and each has its own distinct flavor. We've been to this location a number of time and the service has always been awesome and the facility has been very clean. They do a great job of keeping the dining room clean. Salsa Grille has yet to recover from Covid practices regarding the Salsa Bar, but I get that. It saddens me, but I get it. Currently your salsa is kept in 2oz soufflé cups behind the line and you have to request it at the counter. I'm sure as we move further towards Covid recovery that the Salsa Bar will return. In a world of QDoba, Moe's, Chipotle, and Salsarita, I'd take Salsa Grille over all of them. If I had the means I'd bring a Salsa Grille franchise to Louisville.

The bartender was kind and polite and quick with the service. There were only about three or four tables with people, let them during the course of my time. A few other folks came and sat at the bar. I heard it a side salad with salmon and it came out to me pretty quickly. The flavor was delicious, the salmon, well cooked, and the apple vinaigrette dressing on the salad was delightful. The biggest challenge, was a table with a few children sitting at it. This is no fault of the restaurant, and really, not even the result of my four-star rating. This is merely a statement: if your children are misbehaving and screaming and banging things on the table while other people are trying to eat their dinner, then perhaps the best option is to remove the children from the restaurant. It's always surprising to me when parents are selfish and subject everyone else in the vicinity around them to the poor behavior of their children. As a parent myself, I would never do that to other people. When you go out to a nice restaurant, you want to relax and enjoy the time not listen to tantrums from a three year old. Even the bartender in the servers were frustrated with this table. Some people even walked out after sitting down when they realize that unbelievable noise is coming from one table. Ok, soapbox time is over. Support the summit grill kitchen.

Summit Grill Kitchen & Cocktails - jumbo onion rings and supreme pizza…read more I love onion rings so I had to try the "jumbo onion rings" on the appetizer menu. It was the least expensive appetizer option at $12...and the "jumbo" sounded attractive. So why not? The rings are "jumbo"-lly bigger than most others offer. The ring is made from a large onion. The onion piece was rather thin. I was expecting a "thicker" piece - perhaps two layers thick given the size of the ring. The onion was sweeter and mild. The batter was very thin, flakey and a touch oily. It has a nice seasoning to go along with the chipotle sauce. Definitely worth a try if you like onion rings. The crust is a hand tossed style and baked to a soft crispy crust. It has a slightly sweet flavor with a mild flour taste. The sauce was not very prominent to the flavor - mild tomato sauce taste. The sauce was hidden by the pile of fresh toppings. There was a nice amount of delicious mozzarella cheese to hold the toppings together and give it a moist pizza flavor. Cold Pizza Test - the pizza was still soft and moist 24 hours later. It seems like the ingredients "marinated" and enhance the Italian flavors. The mozzarella cheese flavors tended to "pop" more. Delicious cold pizza! Overall a pizza. Dinning in is a nice experience. Beautiful facility. Casual and relaxed...though it's pretty loud. Professional and friendly service.
