Shrimp skewer

Ordered takeout from here tonight as it was snowing pretty good and this was right by my hotel. The prime rib was very good 8.75/10 and I would definitely order again. Cooked perfectly medium rare and nice and juicy. Also $37 for a 16oz cut is pretty good in my opinion as someone from Chicago as back home you won't find a 16oz cut for under $50. Also loved that it comes with both raw horseradish and horseradish sauce, as well as au jus. I would come back here purely for the prime rib. I added on a $6 shrimp skewer which wasn't bad but the shrimp were pretty small, I'd give it a 6/10. Sides of broccoli and cauliflower were both about 3 pieces each and were ehh.

This is one of the more relaxing Hall's restaurants in Fort Wayne. It has a unique old style tavern feel. You will find many of the same menu items and tastes here that you do at the other Hall's. The Tavern is a very large restaurant. They have an attractive bar area and lots of comfortable seating. They even have a large 60 person room that could be reserved for a rehearsal or birthday dinner!! The facility is dominated by wood walls, floors and fixtures. The facility is older but in great repair and very clean. The team here was right in top of things. There were plenty of staff on this visit. All were friendly and helpful. The menu is very large and diverse. You will find many items and recipes that are common to the other Hall's restaurants. We started with onion rings. This recipe is common to Hall's. The onion piece is somewhat thin with a lot of breading. The greasy taste dominates the ring taste as there is not much seasoning flavor. The ring is fairly crispy. I ordered the popcorn shrimp salad. This was very innovative. The popcorn shrimp was very good, thoroughly cooked and moist. A nice shrimp piece coated with a crisp breading. The salad came with a cup of cocktail sauce in case you wanted to dip them. The salad part was a fairly basic salad. Fresh lettuce and side vegetables. Nothing outstanding but a good-solid choice. The honey mustard dressing was delicious. I really liked the breadstick that came with the salad. It had a soft inside with a slightly crisp outside. The crust was buttery and had a slight garlic flavor. My wife loved her Sawmill Cobb salad and the lemon-honey dressing. This homemade dressing was outstanding.

The special, steak shrimp potatoes cake with spinach and carrots .

Dude, if you eat at a place long enough you will encounter a badstafg and Thursday night was it . This, place usaly is great. Food service price it rocks . The,atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. So .. I was very disappointed with the crap I experienced . To the kitchen put salt on the steak as it cooks . To staff . Serve the food HOT .simple. One thing that they did consistently is make a very good old fashioned. And on Thursday it was very very good so 5 strars to the bar

We were passing through on our way to Michigan and stopped to have lunch - their were plenty of cars in the parking lot so that's always a good sign! Our server Tina took care of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much! We will be back if in the area!

We were hosting a special guest visiting from China, so we really wanted the evening to be perfect, and Copper Spoon delivered on every front. The food and drinks were outstanding across the board. We started with fresh oysters and delicious house breads, and our main courses--specifically the ribeyes and the salmon--were cooked to absolute perfection. As great as the food was, the absolute highlight of our evening was our waitress, Kate. She went exceptionally above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Her attentive service, warm hospitality, and professionalism truly elevated the entire night for our group. Overall, the ambience was lovely & the restaurant is beautiful inside. Would return for another dining experience... I just know to avoid this dish on my second try!

As a…read morebusiness traveler I am looking for great restaurants that are not chains and provide a feel for the town I'm in. This restaurant was recommended to me by two people. One who travels frequently for business and the other who is in town frequently with their family. Both recommended Tolon as a wonderful place to sit down and have an excellent meal. I'm happy they did. I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the hostess and asked to sit at the bar. The bartender greeted me immediately when I sat down and grabbed a bottle of water and the stainless steel cup for the water and poured me a drink. She provided me with the menu and the cocktail menu and gave me space in time to make my decisions. I went with a glass of Malbec, and the deviled eggs as a starter. My main course was another small plate: the beef short rib with polenta cake. The deviled eggs were phenomenal and had a unique flavor and we're just right sized for one. The beef short rib dish was excellent and maybe a little more than I could handle it once after the deviled eggs. Every person that brought food to me or that chatted with me while I sat at the bar was kind and welcoming.

Next time I visit Fort Wayne, it will be the first one I go to! Much of the food is locally sourced, and the chef seems to be extremely good at what he or she does. I wasn't particularly hungry so I just ordered a salad. But what I didn't realize is that the salad that they brought me was an absolute masterpiece! And it was kale! I don't even like kale! But this was fantastic. I also had the whipped feta cheese with roasted pita bread as an appetizer. This place also had the best service of any restaurant I've been to in town. This is a definite go to location!

There is soft jazz style music playing in the background. Our appetizer was delicious crab cakes. I don't even like crab, and I'd eat these as a meal! We also ordered French Onion Soup. Yall.... This. Soup. Will. Slap. Your. Tastebuds. I wanted to go back into the kitchen and crawl into the soup pot and swim around. It is soo tasty!! The flavor is bold and the cheese is thick and what a cheese pull! My mouth just watered at this! We also had a pretzel bread. It came with delicious, sweet cinnamon butter. We loved it! For our main, we ordered the steak medallions and mushroom risotto. People...... The steak was cooked PERFECTLY! It was so easy to cut, and it melted on your mouth. The seasoning was delicious! The mushroom risotto was the perfect consistency--creamy and scrumptious goodness. This dish is PHENOMENAL!!! To finish, we had a warm, moist, and delicious carrot cake with cream cheese icing, caramel drizzle, and topped with walnuts. There is cinnamon ice cream on the side. We were so happy because most times, carrot cake we order out is dry--but THIS cake was TOP NOTCH! Megan, our server, was kind and prompt. She kept our drinks filled, and she did an excellent job at timing things to come out to us. Baker Street Steakhouse is a MUST-have restaurant in Fort Wayne. You won't be sorry for going.

We were seated immediately. Nice corner booth. It was nearly empty so we had a very quiet, romantic atmosphere for his Birthday Meal. Our server, Megan, was very friendly and on top of things. The pretzel bread with cinnamon butter is very tasty. The butter is so soft and filled with cinnamon. We then ordered the filet medallions with wild mushroom risotto. We love our steaks medium rare. These were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness! The seasoning was amazing! Very delicious. The only issue was the one long strand of hair on the edge of my plate. I spoke to the server about it to make sure better care is taken in food prep in the kitchen. She said she'd talk to the manager. Husband received a free birthday dessert. He chose the warm carrot cake drizzled with caramel and walnuts with cinnamon ice cream. It was moist and so delicious. The birthday candle was a nice added bonus. Will definitely be back!
