Stopped in today for lunch, I become a regular at this establishment and I'm impressed every time I go there, Jeremy our server today was awesome, very attentive and the conversation was great too, he's an outstanding asset to the business. The food as always was delicious, and we were greeted and seated promptly as always, I cannot say enough about this place!!!!

We went here for lunch and this was my second time here. We had Bri as our server. She was kind, efficient, funny, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel like friends. Our food was delicious. The manager came by and refilled our drinks and asked how everything was while Bri was in the weeds. Everything was delicious! Big portions too! We will be back!

When I visit Fort Wayne I love to try a new restaurants. Bubbas 33 was recommended as having great burgers and margaritas. My boyfriend had a mushroom burger with an egg and I had pasta. We also ordered wings as an appetizer. We were able initially given cold wings. They took the old wings back and brought hot wings. They did not charge us. There were a few missteps with not bringing bread out and serving dry pasta. They give me extra sauce and it completely enhanced the dish. The server was very nice and accommodating. Overall, good experience. I think I will try a burger next time.

Had to revisit Bubba's 33 just to make sure our first visit wasn't an exception. It was not. We have the app (I highly encourage you to get it) so we joined the waiting list. Definitely glad we did. The parking lot was full when we arrived and the wait was an hour. We were seated in about ten minutes because of the app. Our server was incredibly kind and kept our waters filled. While it was very busy, we didn't feel ignored. We were seated next to the servers stand so we could hear the banter behind us. They seemed to be enjoying themselves despite being swamped. This restaurant does have a sports bar vibe but very family friendly as well. We chose not to do a starter and each ordered the Shotgun Shrimp Po' Boy. Hubs had loaded tots as a side and I had the fire fries (these have a nice kick to them) with ranch. I'm still full five hours later. The sandwich is massive and absolutely stuffed with shrimp. It comes with its special sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. I ordered without the tomato and onion. Hubs ordered without onion. All sauces are made in house as is everything on the menu. The quality is incredible. A gift to anyone's tastebuds. We enjoyed everything we had and left excited to return. Definitely put this on your places to try.

The place was incredibly busy. We have the app and joined the wait list. As we entered the restaurant, we overheard someone leaving who was appalled about having an hour wait....we only waited about 10 minutes. Thank you, Bubbas Waitlist! The host and our server both were very kind and helpful. Our server, Wendi, was authentic and attentive. She talked with us about the menu, kept our drinks filled, and checked in on us often. The restaurant is definitely a sports bar. Large TVs line every wall. The decor is Americana. While it's loud when it's full, it just adds to the energy of the place. My husband and I both ordered the Shotgun Shrimp Po' Boy. He had Fire Fries and I had the loaded tots. The Po' Boy was loaded with shrimp and the Shotgun sauce is delicious! Hubbys Fire Fries had quite a kick, but so good! And my loaded tots were delicious! I highly recommend you get yourselves to Bubbas 33. They make everything from scratch which makes it all even better!

The food was amazing!! I got the California chicken not with rice though but the loaded fries and the steamed broccoli was great. Maddy out server was so great!! I love it when the server is amazing. Also the ambiance of the restaurant was so beautifully decorated!! It's so inviting and and fun atmosphere!! Their are well my husband counted 18 TVs but my daughters said 17 so idk go and court for urself! lol. But also their drinks for mixed drinks are cheaper AND better than Texas Roadhouse in my opinion!!

Stopped in for dinner. I enjoy that I can check in on the app and then just go when it's time. We had the burger, pizza, and chicken bacon avocado. The burger was huge and tasted pretty good. I like the focaccia bread on the chicken bacon avocado sandwich. The pizza had a good flavor and good sauce. The server had the beer specials wrong so we paid a little more than we thought. The service was good but they hovered a little. Loved the decor inside and it was very clean.

My son and I were out grabbing his new glasses and decided to grab dinner while we were out. He had already tried this place about a month ago, so we decided to try it again. We got the small size onion rings to start and they were amazing! Then for dinner, I got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was AMAZING! Truly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It came with a raspberry preserves that was so delicious! My son got Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese and he said it was pretty good. Overall, the service was really good and our server took care of us very well. Loved all of the TV screens so I could keep tabs on the Olympics and the Big Ten games happening! Will definitely be back soon!

We hardly eat at chain restaurants in FW (we like to make it a point to support local), but we wanted to try Bubba's 33 because we were told it was really good... It wasn't really good, it was really awesome. I'd describe the joint as kind of mix between a B-Dubs, Red Robin, and Rooster's (Ohio wing/sports bar chain), but exponentially better... It's got a high end sports bar vibe with a solid menu, ranging from burgers to sandwiches, to wings, to steaks, and even pizzas. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked great and our burgers and fries were absolutely fire. We got the classic cheeseburger and smash burger, and I'd put them in the same class as Bravas & Henry's (who imho have the best burgers and fries in town, but Bubba's is up there too). Plus, the restaurant is really well priced (especially as compared to other establishments in town that are straight screwing people under the auspice of "inflation")... $60 for the two burgers/fries and 4 craft beers, which included a 25% tip. As for the service, it was superior... Our server "Punkin" (yes, with an "n" not an "m"... Cool ass name) was one of the best servers we've had in a long time; really friendly, funny, prompt, attentive, etc. - You can tell Bubba's is well managed. Overall, Bubba's is 100% worth a visit... We'll be back again for sure. PS - Use their Waitlist app, otherwise you're gonna be waiting for a while (1.5-2 hrs without using Waitlist).

Basically just replaced Chili's with a new name but same menu. Appreciate the wide open space and how late it opens. For my orders, most of the fried food was either way too salty or way too fried. At the mass and speed the kitchen is sending out dishes, I expect them to nail it. Especially since most of the menu is fried food.

Food was AMAZING! 1/2 pound burgers to die for. Crispy seasoned fries. Creamy tasty coleslaw. Everything was very good. Service was excellent! The atmosphere was fun and upbeat! Highly recommend!

Smash burger w/seasoned fries. Well seasoned burger, not drowned with sauce -was ordered as menu describes. - This is one of the best.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. We will go back and I highly recommend you check it out!

But then you're presented with this shiny chandelier, illuminating this wide chamber, and hovering over a smooth, curved bar. The sides of this huge dining space are lined with dining tables, and walls lined with artwork, making the name quite appropriate. Subtle haloes of light dot the ceiling, and the color palette of the place (besides that big ol' chandelier) is dark, cool, and easy on the eyes. I took a seat at the main bar and was served within minutes. I enjoyed some light pop, rap, and classic rock tunes bumping in the background while I sipped on a delightful Smoked Apple Reserve. Every sip was a punch of sweetness, followed by an air of smokiness, and just a splash of herby aftertaste. It was however, not the kind of drink you could chug, so I sipped slowly throughout my meal. I'll have to come back for the appetizers, as I hear they're the star of the show, but neither the flatbreads nor the traditional bar-fare excited me. Thanks to Yelp though, I learned of the Blueberry and Brie Grilled Cheese, which I'd initially dismissed due to my dislike of Brie - the cheese and her portrayal of Captain Marvel, let's be honest. But I gave it a chance and ~woah~ it was something else. First of all, it's a perfectly cooked grilled cheese, with a flaky, crunchy exterior and addictingly cheesy inside, however I was ~taken aback~ by the flavor. I think I honestly had a Ratatouille moment, where that flavor of berry compote transported me to my childhood, chowing down on blueberry pancakes on Friday morning before school. At the same time, it doesn't dominate the flavor profile - it adds a subtle and satisfying sweetness to the creamy richness of the melted Brie, and it does it oh so well. The plentiful pieces of proscuitto provided some palatable protein, while also being a contrast in flavor and feel to the Berry and Brie. The fries were a little heavy on the straight potato flavor and not so much on seasoning and salt, but some garlic aioli did the trick there. The service was superb and the atmosphere was nothing like I've experienced in this city. I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did, but I can't wait to come back to try more apps, drinks, and return to that beautiful blueberry and brie...

Ducky's - duck pin bowling is fun, but is the food good?…read more Ducky's advertises themselves as a scrap kitchen. So...it should be good, right? They don't have a very big menu. There are five entrees to go along with a small amount of burger, chicken tender and appetizer choices. I went with the burger of the month - the pizza burger. The friendly waiter said the pizza sauce was made in house from scratch. The sauce was outstanding! It was thick and sweet with a bold tomato paste taste. The bun was soft and slightly grilled with a buttery flavor - very nice! It is odd that the burger is served in halves and vertical. The burger patty was very thin and cooked to a medium well done consistency - I would prefer medium rare but they didn't ask my preference. I thought the burger was over cooked and a bit tough/crunchy on the edges. It did have and nice high quality meat flavoring as it is sourced locally. The burger was covered with grilled pepperoni. This added a nice "pizza" flavor when combined with a nice bedding of mozzarella cheese. My wife really liked her chicken tenders. They were nice and moist. The breading was unique, tasty and crispy. She said the fries were very good while the best part might have been the house fry dipping sauce. That sauce was a nice combination of southwest and traditional meat flavorings. The side salad, to replace the fries, was fresh yet very small. The salad came in a half-ball type dish that was slightly larger than half a baseball. The half ball was actually unstable to eat out of. I had to cup the bowl with one hand to keep it from tipping over. The salad had a few side tomato and pepper parts added. There just isn't much room for things in this small of a dish. We decided to try the strawberry bread pudding for dessert. This was a fantastic dish! The breading was basically two pieces of fried French toast. It was soft on the inside with a cinnamon swirl and strawberry pieces. The breading was drizzled with a thin moderately sweet strawberry flavored syrup. The syrup was accompanied by some fresh whipped cream also bathed in syrup. Overall, Ducky's does have good food. They have a limited menu at moderately expensive prices. My preference would be to sit down and enjoy the scratch made items versus squeezing them in while you bowl. Also consider dinning at Ducky's and walking across the street the Pearl Arts Center for a program.

Big Eyed Fish on Wells Street - when you have a craving for Fish & Stroh style fish and tarter…read moresauce Yes, I know that I could go to Stroh to get this old time flavor. However, Big Eyed Fish is pretty good fish in its own right, local...and flavored like the taste I remember from the past. We visited the Big Eyed Fish location on Well's street. They have an express shop located on Huegenard Road and another dine in location at Leo Crossing. This location has been in service since 2003. It has a nice diner feel with super friendly service. You can find parking on the street or in the lot behind the store. The inside is rather large and works well for parties up to about 8 diners. There is a small bar and TV's if that is your thing. They also have a big and varied menu including breakfast items. Here is a run down of the food items: -Fried Fish: the white fish fillet is thin and fried with a thin breading. The fish is moist and tender. It will flake apart with a fork or by hand. The breading has a slight amount of seasoning and isn't very oily to taste. It has a taste similar to the Fish & Stroh style if you are familiar with that. The fillets are not very filling. For an extra $3...I went with the all you can eat option. Delicious fish! -Tarter Sauce: I love tarter sauce. In fact I might order fish to go with my tarter sauce - lol. This mayo based sauce is reasonably thick, somewhat sweet and has a hint of pickle flavoring. It's creamy and makes a perfect complement to the fried fish flavor. -Baked Beans: this side really surprised me. The bean is small and contained hamburger pieces. The sauce had a slight BBQ flavor but not enough to classify it as a BBQ baked bean dish. The meat flavor was a nice add to the smooth tomato spiced sauce. Delicious!! -Cole Slaw: I kind of use KFC as the standard for Cole Slaw. This is very similar. The slaw pieces are cut very small with only one kind of slaw. Seemingly no additives - just slaw. The sauce is mayo based, a bit more sweet along with a hint of vinegar. I loved this side too! -Hush Puppies: these balls are pretty small in diameter. The inside is very modista and sweet with that southern style corn bread taste. The outside is thicker, a bit oily to taste and has a mild corn bread taste/texture. These are probably some of the best hush puppies I've had in my southern raised life.
