Went in 2 days ago for the first time, for a nice juicy burger( what I've heard they're good for) and boy was it great!!! The only downside about my visit was the service.... I never once had a manager ask me how my food was, nobody ever came to clean a SINGLE dish off of my table( mind you I was sitting at a table for 2, so not a lot of space) there was one particular worker (Jerika) who was giving me dirty looks and rolling her eyes the entire time( I felt extremely rushed and uncomfortable from the way she was looking at me) and every time I tried acknowledging her she turned her body away and went on her phone. I made a return trip especially to try the pizza. I've seen lots of reviews saying Bubba's pizza was really good. So, I had to try it for myself. I ordered a 12 inch Deluxe 33 pizza. This was a large pizza. More than I could eat in one sitting. The crust is thin except on the outer edges. The wood fired process makes the outer crust crispy - in some spots very crispy. The bottom of the pizza was still soft and nicely baked and lightly coated with corn meal. The crust has a buttery garlic flavor which was delicious. The quantity of toppings was just right. The vegetables had a slight crisp and tasty fresh. The meats had good flavors. No strong Italian flavors. I liked the larger and thicker chunks of sausage. The pizza sauce was kind of hidden. It was hard to detect as it wasn't very plentiful. Seemingly it is slightly sweet with a mild tomato taste. Cold Pizza Test - the crust stayed moist with a slight crunch. The flavor of the toppings seemed to blend even more with time and coldness. The corn meal base flavor seemed to become even more prominent. Bubba's cold Deluxe pizza had an enjoyable taste! The side salad was nice. The greens were fresh with a limited number of side vegetables. I accepted the onion straws on top of the salad. While the onion straws had a nice taste...the number of crunchy items dominated the salad. I thought I was eating more straws than lettuce. The team here works hard. The shift manager is on the ball and keeps things moving. She is very professional and welcoming. Myranda was our waitress. She hustled and came back to check on us frequently. We appreciated her service and kindness. Just to reiterate from previous reviews. This is a large but busy place. Use the wait list feature. Otherwise you are gambling on longer wait times. Despite being very busy we were seated immediately. We did break our party of eight into two 4's. But we were in booths back to back. Waites was prompt and fortunately we ordered immediately. That proved to be a good choice because the kitchen went down shortly after. Our order was process but the other booth was not. So, while we were finished our other booth had not seen their main course yet. Our food was delicious. Everything is very tasty and fresh. Even the spinach dip. My California chicken was delicious, with just the right amount of lime. My wife ordered a tenders plate. It was all great. The reason for four stars? The consistency of the service was very questionable. We had children with us and their meal came out even before our drinks came. The place was incredibly busy. We have the app and joined the wait list. As we entered the restaurant, we overheard someone leaving who was appalled about having an hour wait....we only waited about 10 minutes. Thank you, Bubbas Waitlist! The restaurant is definitely a sports bar. Large TVs line every wall. The decor is Americana. While it's loud when it's full, it just adds to the energy of the place. Had to revisit Bubba's 33 just to make sure our first visit wasn't an exception. It was not. We have the app (I highly encourage you to get it) so we joined the waiting list. Definitely glad we did. The parking lot was full when we arrived and the wait was an hour. We were seated in about ten minutes because of the app. Our server was incredibly kind and kept our waters filled. While it was very busy, we didn't feel ignored. We were seated next to the servers stand so we could hear the banter behind us. They seemed to be enjoying themselves despite being swamped. This restaurant does have a sports bar vibe but very family friendly as well. We chose not to do a starter and each ordered the Shotgun Shrimp Po' Boy. Hubs had loaded tots as a side and I had the fire fries (these have a nice kick to them) with ranch. I'm still full five hours later. The sandwich is massive and absolutely stuffed with shrimp. It comes with its special sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. I ordered without the tomato and onion. Hubs ordered without onion. All sauces are made in house as is everything on the menu. The quality is incredible. A gift to anyone's tastebuds. We enjoyed everything we had and left excited to return. Definitely put this on your places to try. read more

Stopped in for dinner. I enjoy that I can check in on the app and then just go when it's time. We had the burger, pizza, and chicken bacon avocado. The burger was huge and tasted pretty good. I like the focaccia bread on the chicken bacon avocado sandwich. The pizza had a good flavor and good sauce. The server had the beer specials wrong so we paid a little more than we thought. My son and I were out grabbing his new glasses and decided to grab dinner while we were out. He had already tried this place about a month ago, so we decided to try it again. We got the small size onion rings to start and they were amazing! Then for dinner, I got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was AMAZING! Truly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It came with a raspberry preserves that was so delicious! My son got Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese and he said it was pretty good. Overall, the service was really good and our server took care of us very well. Loved all of the TV screens so I could keep tabs on the Olympics and the Big Ten games happening! We hardly eat at chain restaurants in FW (we like to make it a point to support local), but we wanted to try Bubba's 33 because we were told it was really good... It wasn't really good, it was really awesome. I'd describe the joint as kind of mix between a B-Dubs, Red Robin, and Rooster's (Ohio wing/sports bar chain), but exponentially better... It's got a high end sports bar vibe with a solid menu, ranging from burgers to sandwiches, to wings, to steaks, and even pizzas. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked great and our burgers and fries were absolutely fire. We got the classic cheeseburger and smash burger, and I'd put them in the same class as Bravas & Henry's (who imho have the best burgers and fries in town, but Bubba's is up there too). Plus, the restaurant is really well priced (especially as compared to other establishments in town that are straight screwing people under the auspice of "inflation")... $60 for the two burgers/fries and 4 craft beers, which included a 25% tip. As for the service, it was superior... Our server "Punkin" (yes, with an "n" not an "m"... Cool ass name) was one of the best servers we've had in a long time; really friendly, funny, prompt, attentive, etc. - You can tell Bubba's is well managed. Overall, Bubba's is 100% worth a visit... Basically just replaced Chili's with a new name but same menu. Appreciate the wide open space and how late it opens. For my orders, most of the fried food was either way too salty or way too fried. At the mass and speed the kitchen is sending out dishes, I expect them to nail it. Especially since most of the menu is fried food. read more

I decided on the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. $13.99 for a double bacon cheeseburger was very fair. They don't skimp on the meat. I ordered it medium-well but it came out more well. That was fine though because the burger was still moist and juicy. Good flavor too. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. A nice light batter and the rings were sweet and cooked perfectly. I usually don't like bigger, thicker onions rings but these were excellent. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Ft. My husband ordered the Fresh Veggie pizza, and I ordered the Wild Shroomin' Burger (minus the beef patty) with seasoned fries. We both were impressed with how delicious and well-seasoned everything was. My only complaint is that although their motto is "Food for All," they don't offer any meat alternative patties for non-meat eaters, but the Wild Shroomin' Burger (without the burger patty) was flavorful and delicious! I am extremely disappointed with my experience. My friend consumed food from this establishment the day prior to its official opening and the chicken wings lacked crispiness, instead having a gummy texture. The pizza was overcooked, lacked flavor, and had a burnt crust. On opening day, we waited in line for two hours, only to be let down. The operation was disorganized and the staff displayed rude behavior. It would have been better to provide a headcount for the first 100 people to inform those waiting in line whether they would receive a complimentary pizza box gift. The news announcement failed to mention that dining in was a requirement to receive this gift. Unfortunately, many individuals were upset and chose not to dine in. Upon reaching the front of the line, we inquired about our number and were met with rudeness by the staff, who directed us to inquire with another staff member. Both staff members said they don't know any information about the numbers. We were then informed that we needed to dine in to receive the pizza box and were advised to put our name and number into the system, which indicated a one-hour wait. After the hour had passed, we were told by two rude lady's that the pizza box gifts were no longer available, as they had been distributed to the first 100 patrons. I suggested that a headcount could have been taken to inform people waiting in line. I honestly dont believe they even had 100 pizza boxes, they just wanted the business! There was elderly people waiting in line just to be let down. They told people they had to wait in there cars if they wanted to dine in. Some people did not want to dine in due to work commitments and had planned to return later in the week. So my sister called and got on the waitlist at 5pm. Was given 1h29m-1h39m long wait. Okay. All arrived before 6:30. Got to sit down at 7:15pm. We had a party of 12 so it was two booths by the front door. Sat all the kids at one booth and all the adults at the other. Kids table got their drinks order quick. Then food ordered before our waitress would take our drink order. Finally did our drinks and food at the same time. Basically our kids were done eating by the time we got our food. I believe our kids waitress was better than ours. The food was good. A steak had to be re-grilled due to being overcooked. Everything tasted pretty. My family is currently trying to stick to only scratch made restaurants and all 5 of our party loved their food. No one else complained. The problem is the service. We finally got out of there at 8:51! Also my sister never even got her birthday dessert. I reminded her at 8:30, and my sister wanted to leave so bad she said she'd get it to go, and they had the audacity to tell us she had to eat it there. That seems atrocious to me... given you made our dinner experience completely crap due only to service! And only the adults table service! Wish I had gotten the names of the waitresses. But you won't stretch on this one rule even though between the three groups we paid about $300! Ok. Make it make sense. They apparently need more training. Or time to get better. I really want to like Bubba's 33 but the six times I have been there weren't great. I went today and ordered the fish and chips. It came with slaw. Food came out and fish was hot and delicious and the fries were room temperature. I asked if I could get hot fries and the server made me take everything off the plate onto an appetizer plate so he could return the fries. I had finished my fish and slaw when he showed up with fries that were barely warm. Same thing happened last time i was there but I said nothing. So it seems that their servers don't really care and they are unable to serve hot fries! After the server (who did not serve my food) took my order, never checked on me again. read more

Got the nachos, nothing to write home about, pretty plain. Went there to watch the Indiana/MSU basketball game and asked if they could turn up the volume so we could hear the game play-by-play. She had to ask the manager and he said no. The only thing in my opinion that they have going for them is its a new Bar in town. I don't foresee myself going back. I went to this restaurant on the day after grand opening for a late lunch. We were seated fairly quickly for a party of 4. The decor would be what you would expect for a typical sports bar. I ordered a bacon guacamole burger. It was excellent. My parents ordered a Veggie pizza which I tried also and actually liked it considering I usually would have meat on my pizza. The pizza sauce had a nice flavor and the crust was to my liking. My friend ordered a ribeye and he said it was cooked perfectly and that he preferred their seasoning compared to Texas Roadhouse. A top quality establishment with ample bar seating and large dining rooms where the menu is as big as the atmosphere! Whether you want Wings, Burgers, Steaks, Salmon, Salads or even quality Pizzas, this is the place for you and all at reasonable prices! This evening I sat at the bar, dined alone and wanted to watch some college basketball. Plenty of large TVs surround the bar and dining room so you won't strain to see a number of broadcasts, a real sports bar feel, if you can tolerate music playing rather than announcers babbling (I do not need the volume on the games but I know many sports fanatics do)! The bar service was great, servers friendly and attentive, the meal (Breaded Pork Loin Sandwich) was flavorful and VERY Large. This place is amazing. So good, we went 2 days in a row!!!! Garlic knots are freshly made with homemade dough. Cheese and marinara to dip. Great price for how much you get. My husband and I could have shared a burger as large as they are. The onion rings are the best ever. And the cookie with ice cream is served in a warm bowl. Definitely worth the wait. Or come really early. 11:30 am got us right in but 4:30 had about about a 20 minute wait. First thing to note was our server was fantastic! He was attentive and accurate with our orders. On to the rest....we went as a party of seven ages 15 to 65 years old. It was our first visit to a Bubba's 33. The outside of the store was attractive and inviting but the hard rock music choice blaring at the entrance was an indication that older folks might not enjoy this experience. Inside the store appeared very open with large viewing screens surrounding the perimeter displaying a variety of sports and entertainment shows. One thing we noticed right away was how LOUD this place was, it was difficult for our party to have conversation at a normal tone of voice. Some complained it was so loud they probably wouldn't return. On to the food item. My smash-burger was good but would order it without the "secret sauce" next time. The sauce didn't bring anything to the table but a dripping mess. The Tots and Fries that accompanied as a side were tasty and plentiful. The Chicken Tacos were a hit but the bone in wings were just average at best. The Monte Cristo was very good. We will return and look forward to trying the pizza and other menu items before deciding if Bubba's is a hit or miss.....with earplugs of course. read more
