If you are here for the characters, the guaranteed 1:1 time with your table may make your child's day. As an adult with no kids during this dining experience, I can say the food reminds me of my good ole days of under $20 Home Town Buffet. But it's $80. Many items were dried out (gumbo, salad, bread, etc) and were not the usual Disney buffet quality I've experienced before. Prime rib was the best option there. Although it is nice for shorter serving areas for the little to help themselves, the amount I saw grabbing desserts and cookies with their bare hands from the dessert area was disgusting. Not just one unsupervised child but 4 different tables of kids gone rogue during the time I was dining. I opted to pick the cookies from the back that they could not comb their fingers over. All in all medium white noise. Slightly difficult to hear but not overly loud. The characters made great effort with each table and the smiles they brought...worth every penny for those families. For a buffet, the food was pretty good. It did get loud inside as the tables are very close together and it's a small space. Our service was top notch per usual as this is Disney. Prime rib was delicious. They have options from classic American foods like Mac. & cheese and prime rib, salmon, roasted veggies to some Mediterranean dishes, Spanish and a hint of Indian spices and some bayou food as well. They represent the cultures of the characters involved (Cinderella, Aladdin, Tiana and Maribel). Great for kids because each character will stop at your table and interact with you. read more

We came here for dinner as part of our Christmas celebration and we had a good experience. This is a meal ideal for young kids. Three princesses and a prince visit the table for introductions and photo ops. My 3 year old niece was absolutely thrilled to see and hug Cinderella, Tiana, and Maribel (sorry Aladdin). They have a buffet with lots of options. We enjoyed the prime rib, salmon, tikka masala, gumbo, and many other options. We had a character dining experience in 2021 and it was awesome...but this was fantastic!!! This experience made the trip!! The smiles on my girls faces and they talked about it every day of the trip... Makes my heart warm. We had a reservation and the app worked flawlessly. We got checked in at the host station. Seated quick and greeted quickly with a smile from Helen She informed us about how the menu items work and took our drink order - I ordered a mimosa- so cheers- that was a great thirst quencher. Eggs, sausage, Mickey waffles, a fresh fruit platter, donuts/sweet rolls,cheesy potatoes,bacon, ham, yogurt w granola. .. the bread pudding was over the top!!!!. Yummo. I left full as my stomach allowed. The kitchen did a fantastic job! Mirabel, Tiana, Cinderella, Aladdin did amazing on the character dining experience. Try the Strawberry Soup!! This is a character dining spot inside of the Grand Floridian resort. Having said that, I probably don't need to tell you that it's going to be more expensive than traditional buffets on property. But, bring your autograph book and camera, because they have some wonderful characters there! The food is very good, for a Disney buffet! I wasn't kidding, the strawberry soup is by far my favorite dish. Light, flavorful, unique... it's so good! They have substantial offerings, though, if fruit soup isn't your thing! I tried the breakfast pizza, smoked salmon with fixings, and several other items. I was surprised how much I liked the pizza; I thought it was going to be more of a novelty, but I legitimately enjoyed it! The service was stellar as well. You always hope for this at any Disney experience, but it was particularly noticeable here. For the décor, it definitely fit the Victorian era bill, though perhaps a bit too restrained with the walls. Wow! This place was definitely a treat! We wanted to find a place to use our dining plan to make the most use out of it! And this place was it! All you can eat prime rib, salmon, Tiana inspired dishes, and all of this even included either a non alcoholic beverage OR an alcoholic beverage!! We of course wanted the booze haha!! I got to try their Spicy Paloma and hubby got their French 75. What makes this place more amazing was the character interactions!! They made sure that ALL 4 make it to your table which was so nice! They all took their time to interact with our kids and had the opportunity to take photos with them as well! Service from our server was nothing short but amazing! She made sure we were happy and told us to not rush as we were approaching closing time, they won't clear out their buffet until everyone has left the restaurant which was SO nice to enjoy to it's full content! This place is located in the Grand Floridian and overall reminds me of the old architecture style from the country side but VERY clean and organized! Parking was located across the street which was weird but they offered a "shuttle/putt putt" to take you back to your parking area so you don't need to walk too far! DO NOT come here. What character experience? The princess's wave to you and that's it. They seemed to be un bothered and not wanting to spend any time at our table. Snow white that worked at 7p on 6/10 did not want to be there. Her attitude was over the top and she clearly did not want to be Snow White. Let's talk about the service. RETIRE your old workers. MY waitor bless his heart was pushing 80 years old came to my table with 20 drinks and when my god daughter tried to help him by taking her cup he snatched it away from her and dropped all of the drinks on the table. Ruining her outfit and my husband outfit. Disney needs to do better with this restaurant. The workers and the atomosphere was not magical AT ALL. The worst Disney dinning experience ever. This was a great character breakfast experience for my family and I. My girls love the princess and the frog and they got to meet Tiana dressed in her Bayou outfit. She was so kind and engaged with them really well. We also met Mirabel, Prince Ali, and Cinderella. The food was also really good. We made reservations for a party or 8 on a busy Sunday morning right before Thanksgiving, when we were guided to our tables it was the back area at 2 tables that were separated from each other which we were all a bit taken back. Our reservations specifically included there were 2 children including 1 infant and the tables were not even pushed together. Not sure why the wait staff would think we did not want to be seated together at one table. I mean at least push them together! So when we asked the host to do so the tables were unleveled making it difficult to sit our 1 year old comfortably. We were then moved to then the loud noisy dining area in the front. It was loud and difficult to talk or hear each other. You could see the characters right away which the wait staff made sure your table got to see every character however, that's probably the only positive thing I could say about this place. Food was edible, not good, definitely not great. The best thing was the tater tots which you could easily get from frozen from the store. The eggs they were wet and runny, not true eggs. I asked the server if I could order an omelette which was better but the server does not mention omelettes as an option and the only cheese option is cheddar cheese. When I requested the omelette order it seemed as though our server was annoyed by the request. The dishes seemed dirty as if they were steamed sanitized and on to the next guest. My fork was extremely bent making it not fun to eat from. For paying $60 per adult there's definitely better food options. If your child is into Cinderella or the other characters then yes sure go here otherwise skip this it's a huge let down. read more

For character dining especially buffets, the food is usually not up to par, as characters are the main attraction. I must say the buffet food here was probably the best one at Magic Kingdom area. It's very nicely decorated with portraits of all the princesses. You take pics with Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabelle, and Tiana. Our server was very nice and cleared our empty plates and made sure we get pics with all of the characters. Now for the food. Best prime rib! The creamiest mashed potatoes and so good. Delicious salmon, chicken curry, and sausage. Really liked the gumbo soup too. So many vloggers raved about their loaded potato salad and I must agree, it was really good! This restaurant is so lovely and cozy, also getting to walk through the doors to the restaurant felt very elite. However that's probably the whole GF vibe. I loved all the paintings of the characters who "had a wish" The buffet breakfast was great and fresh. I loved the strawberry soup and the breakfast pizza! All the food was outstanding and it was some of the best buffet food I've had. Everything was seasoned perfectly and very enjoyable. I even went back for seconds for the salmon, garlic sausage and Tiana's Gumbo. I highly recommend trying those items! Located inside the Grand Floridian hotel, I have mixed emotions about this experience. We did the character breakfast, and the cast members were all enchanting and amazing as expected. Truly, Aladdin, Tiana, Mirabel, and Cinderella were absolutely flawlessly in character and were great with the kids. Cinderella, in particular, was perfect with her mannerisms and in the sweet way she interacted with my nieces. Even the servers were genuinely friendly and welcoming. As for the food, the standouts were the cheesy potatoes, beefy hash browns, chicken sausage, and bread pudding. The chocolate muffin was delicious, as well, and the kids loved having gummy bears with breakfast. Unfortunately, the pork sausage was tough, and I ended up spitting it out. The egg on the eggs Benedict still had runny whites, which is always gross. As far as ambience goes, the furnishings and decor are very dated. I realize the theme is era-driven, but I've seen this done properly, in a way that feels fresh while preserving the charm. Rather than fresh, the room emits drab and granny. Glad we did it for the characters but will probably try a different restaurant next time. read more

This restaurant offers both breakfast and dinner with Disney's characters interactions, making it a delightful experience for families and Disney fans. **Pricing (as of July 2024):** - **Breakfast (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM):** $54 for adults / $34 for children - **Dinner (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM):** $66 for adults / $41 for children The characters at 1900 Park Fare are a bit different from those you might see elsewhere, featuring Aladdin, Mirabel, Princess Tiana, and Cinderella. We made our dinner reservation at 4:20 PM exactly 60 days in advance. By the day of, the app was already showing that the walk-up list was full and unavailable to join the line in person. This restaurant is great for families, but for small party like 2 of us would be arranged to be seated in the area sectioned off by three square columns. This area only has two tables either for party of 1 or 2 which we were fine with it because we were literally sitting in the center of the restaurant and could see the whole dining area. When we were seated, the server gave us a postcard and a pencil to write down a wish. During the dining, four characters gathered for interaction with all the guests, and if you've written down a wish to interact with a specific character, they would try to make it come true when they reached your table. For example, a princess might take your child on a little walk around the dining area. One thing we noticed was that while the characters did move around the restaurant frequently, they only stopped at each table ONCE for interaction and taking photos together --unlike in other character dining experiences where characters would come back multiple times for interactions. **Food:** The food was overall decent, though the selection wasn't extensive enough if it charges that much. The dessert options, however, were plentiful and mostly delicious. One standout was the Strawberry Soup--definitely worth trying! After we were stuffed, we took a stroll around the hotel to explore more. We loved this restaurant for dinner! It is all you can eat and had a variety of food selections. This tea is located on the first floor of the Grand Floridian main hotel and was easy to find. We decided to try this character dinner as well as walk around the grand Floridian. They had Tiana, Cinderella, Aladdin and MIRABEL!! All of the characters were great and we were able to take cute photos. The food was amazing and we had everything from the cheese and crackers to meatballs and mashed potatoes and desserts. We haven't been here since pre covid for the Cinderella dinner, so it was about time to visit for the wish maker theme and for breakfast as well. What a fabulous visit. The food was great and I hope it continues to be as great considering they just reopened a few weeks ago. 1900 Park Fare was shut down for a long time. It closed in March 2020 with the Covid-19 pandemic and didn't come back until April 2024! There were definitely some changes. The decor was updated, as were the characters, and the menu. I love the new paintings, high on the wall. The theme is Wishes which is really cool, but it's also really strange that Asha from Wish is not here, if that is the theme. We came for dinner in May and checked out breakfast this week. At dinner in May we had Prince Ali (Aladdin), Bayou Adventure Tiana, Mirabel, and Cinderella. At breakfast this week we had all of the same except Snow White instead of Cinderella. My problem is Tiana. I love Tiana. I love the movie. I hate this outfit. My kid was like, who's that? He didn't recognize her in that outfit. Can you please put her in any of her other outfits? She has a beautiful gown, or the blue gown she is wearing when she makes the wish, or the white flapper dress she wears in the restaurant. Why does she look like a jungle skipper? This is cross promotion gone wrong. I'm also hoping with the wish theme we can bring in and/or rotate some characters because when I think of wishes I think of Asha and Pinocchio in addition to the characters that are there. Regarding the food, we really enjoyed our dinner experience. The carving station had a really nice ham. I was very happy to see the return of the famous strawberry soup this restaurant has long been famous for. The mashed potatoes were out of this world fantastic. Sadly breakfast did not hold up as well as dinner, and I feel like it is usually the opposite at Disney buffets. Thankfully, they still had the strawberry soup. Mickey waffles are always fantastic, and the fresh fruit, yogurt, and cottage cheese were great. The cheese grits were super good, so it's not like we starved. However, the biscuits were dense. The gravy was so salty it was inedible. The bacon was also terribly salty. The eggs benedict were cold and the egg was not runny. My husband literally said yuck when he bit into it. The cinnamon pull apart bread was hard on one side and the scrambled eggs were a weird texture. Finally, our service both times was lackluster. My friends and I had breakfast here during Wine and Dine weekend and have now been to 3 character breakfast and I would rate this one probably the best out of Contemporary, and the Polynesian. Unfortunately I would still rate the breakfast meh at best. What was good : cheesy hash browns, the crispy bacon, and the bread pudding. What I would not get again: biscuit, sausage, and gravy. Croissant breakfast pizza. The chilled strawberry soup. The service was very good and we noticed if someone had a food allergy the chef would come out to the table to talk to them and go over what could be done. While everything at Disney is pricey, this is definitely on the spendy side, especially for a child....$41 plus tax and tip, coming out to $52ish....pricey even though there are characters. My son ate 2 bites of food and loaded up on gummy bears. Would I come back with a picky eater, nope, not worth it. However, I would say this is a high-quality buffet with lots of higher end options including cold shrimp, prime rib, porchetta and salmon. The salmon with the butter sauce was DELICIOUS!! I went up for more sauce for the salmon and rice (which our waitress went and got for them when she saw me walking up with my plate). I was even able to order POG juice with my dinner which I appreciated. I did try the famed "strawberry soup" which was strawberry yogurt I believe and I was taken back and off-put.
