I visited this restaurant for the first time this weekend. It was a great experience from start to end. Great patio seating. Cocktails were good. The ahi tuna appetizer was wonderful. Full of flavor and unlike any tuna I have had before. I would definitely order it again. We also had the sea bass and the filet. The sea bass was cooked perfectly with the right amount of crust. It was very buttery as well. The accompaniments with the fish went with it perfectly. The filet was cooked perfectly with the right amount of char. We arrived and were told there would be a wait due to behind behind. We said inside seating was fine so we were sat inside. Ordered our drink, app, and entrees all at the same time. We received our app in 20 minutes, and our food 40 minutes later. Charcuterie board was ok, when we ordered my husband ordered his pork chop medium. It was more than well done, and so dry. we didn't want to wait so didn't send it back. My fingerling potatoes were BLACK, and my sea bass was over cooked also. The manager came over and removed the pork from our bill and offered dessert. We passed. Favorite spot on the lake for lunch or dinner. They have great outdoor seating with both covered and uncovered seating, nice ambiance and fresh upscale feel. Arrive by boat or car, but be ready for a walk down steps from parking. The restaurant is behind the historic lofts, and worth the walk. They have fantastic cocktails, small plates and full meals. I LOVED this place. I came here to celebrate my half birthday and it was perfect. As soon as I arrived there was parking available across the street from the restaurant. I was in crutches and I am so glad there was a golf cart available to bring me down the hill to the restaurant area. The service was great, the food was good and the scenery was beautiful. We ordered the Mussels and Fries for the appetizer and I danced from joy the entire time we ate--it was THAT good. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and my only critique is that it could've had a bit more flavor, but the fish was perfectly flaky and crispy. My friend ordered the Pork Chop and it was so delicious! Husband and I got in town and decided to go somewhere close for dinner. Walked in to the modern / industrial building and we were immediately seated on a Friday night . Ordered a cocktail that was very yummy and an order of the muscles and fries to start. Wow! we were both licking our fingers and wishing for more fries or some bread to eat up the sauce that come with this dish . Then feeling satisfied we ordered dinner, shrimp and grits and the beef short rib. Both were excellent but we were so full we had to take the leftovers to go. So sadly no room for dessert . We also had the pleasure of meeting the executive chef and the manager who were both very kind and full of knowledge of the historical building. The chef even asked what he could do better in the future. This place has only been open since June so I hope more people discover it and that it stays busy as it is unlike anything else at the lake. Reserve 1932 exceeded all expectations as the best fine dining experience we've had in over a year since the pandemic. No detail was overlooked from the ambient setting, music, drinks, service, and of course, the presentation and meal itself. As a vegetarian it is not always easy for me to find decadent options ...ones that delight and surprise the palate. The beet & goat cheese salad, tahini glazed carrots and cauliflower fritz w/ aioli we're out of this world--a league all their own. I was particularly impressed at how these simple ingredients were elevated and presented so thoughtfully without any pretense of trying to be a substitute for something else. My wife had the Chilean sea bass cooked to perfection with a spectacular flavor profile. Let's also not forget the decadent chocolate Cayane cake with pickled pear & blueberry crumble. Every bite, sublime. We have traveled much of the world and this country, and this experience belongs in our top 5 of ALL TIME. In fact, even though we were just passing through the Ozarks for a couple of days, we would be willing to visit again just to experience this decadent food once more. Stunning and memorable experience at 1932 Reserve. The food was incredible! Cauliflower for appetizer and Filet for entree was heavenly. I am a hollandaise sauce lover so I had to try with some on the side and let me tell you it was the BEST hollandaise sauce I've ever had. When you charge someone 70 dollars for a steak it better not taste like something you can cook at home and ahi tuna shouldn't taste like Indian curry. The cornbread should also have more flavor as well it was very bland. The waiter did a fine job. read more

The atmosphere of 1932 is on trend, but the food and service is a bit troubled. Our cornbread was burnt, which was clear from the top before serving. The service was lack luster; our server was distracted with other servers and the host stand for most the time. Went here on a Wednesday night and didn't know what to expect. When we parked we noticed on the sign you could call for a ride from the parking lot. We're in good shape some we took the stairs. If you struggle at all with stairs, call for the ride. Nice bar, nice indoor dining and a really nice outdoor lakeside deck. We chose the deck and it was very nice. Menu and wine list were solid. Our server was great and knew the menu and history of the restaurant and was really on top of it. We had salad which were exceptional. I had the wedge and my wife the beat salad. We also had steaks (filets) and they were also great quality and well seasoned. Food, service and experience were great. It's a place we will defiantly go back to. Dinner, a nice bottle of wine for two with gratuity was just over $200. Not cheap but really nice for a special dinner. read more

We stopped here while visiting and it was our wedding anniversary. Loved the meal was very good! I have Chilean Sea bass and the husband had lobster and Mac and cheese and the hanger steak. The bass was cooked perfectly and the sauce was a perfect match. I will order this again. The husband liked the Mac very much but would have prefer a little more lobster. Lovely place! We dined for dinner and it was was a wonderful experience. The outdoor seating over looking the lake is superb. This a wonderful addition to the restaurant scene at the Lake. We tried the steak and the Chilean sea bass and would highly recommend both. Also, be sure to try the signature smoked old fashioned. You can access via boat or car. There's a decent amount of vehicle parking, but it's up on a steep hill. There is a courtesy golf cart to drive you down to the dining area, so be on the look out for that if you need it. read more

The best fine dining at the lake. Chef has worked with the top chefs in the country, and he is also one! We had Chilean sea bass, delicious accompaniments and perfectly done, our guests had the pasta and sausage, described as excellent and the filet, described as the best ever! Grilled cornbread was very good, too. Service was excellent. It was too noisy inside and too hot outside on this July evening. First, Scott was great, he had so much personality and he made the experience great. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The beet salad was so good. So so so good. I loved it. The sliders were average sliders, I didn't dislike them, but I wouldn't spend a trip to get them again. But y'all that salad! I would make the hour trip regularly to eat that again. Went to dinner there with friends last night. Everyone really enjoyed their food, but agreed the 2.5% credit card fee was absurd. You can't walk away from this place without at least a $50 bill so placing that fee onto the customer is inappropriate, especially when the dishes are clearly overpriced to begin with. My shrimp and grits with 6 pieces of shrimp and bite sized pieces of sausage cost $33. Time to get rid of this tacky policy. read more
