As a AAA member for over 20+ years I called them to have one brought and installed on site at my home. The company AAA sent out screwed things up really bad (Please see my review for Hope towing in San Bernardino to find out how I found Ryan.) I was desperate to get my car up and running that I just started calling random mobile mechanics I found on Yelp. Luckily the only one to call back was Ryan. I explained to him what happened and he came out that same evening, after attending a previous client. He assessed the car and gave me an honest answer. I paid him his assessment fee and figured I'd call AAA back to make things right and 5 days later and no solution and I'm still without a working vehicle. I text Ryan once again and tell him how AAA was giving me the runaround and how my car was still not fixed. He advised me on a few solutions and I decided to just purchase a battery elsewhere and have Ryan install it. This way once installed if any other issues arose Ryan would be able to give me a real-time solution and pricing. Not only did he install the battery. He went above and beyond with small details that not everyone would do. He checked the voltage and gauges. He told me the car was up and running with no major issues. He did discover a water pump leak and gave me an estimate then and there. He didn't try and price gouge me or lie and say I needed a new alternator. After the first "diagnostic" you guys did on my explorer and failed to diagnose the…read morefuses they were going to charge me $450+ for a wire diagnostic and still have to pay for the labor and parts. I fixed it myself. I then take my Hyundai accent to get my rotors and to bleed the brakes, first of all I got a better quote somewhere else and it wasn't until I mentioned that they took off like $30 plies he forgot to apply the $15 discount. After they finished I left and my brake pedal was still spongy. I came back and they said they can clean it and adjust the brake shoes for an additional $90 come to find out that whatever they did was no help at all down the street after I left the second time, nothing changed. They could've said get new brake drums and we can replace them. That $90 could've went to the brake drums and then after a few days of not noticing because I wasn't expecting an oil leak I see oil spots under the car. My Hyundai was parked for months with 0 leaks after bringing it here I magically have an oil leak possibly my transmission bc both sides are covered. I checked the engine and the blue gasket I put on isn't there and I recently put that on with a new cover. I've done work on it myself because I don't trust shops and this is another shop that has failed me twice. I wouldn't recommend them. Not to mention they had a customer that same day questioning them about their a/c program and how it was a scam bc he's a contractor and noticed something that wasn't right. Maybe they targeted me and did that so I can come back to get more work done but I'm not dumb I've worked on my own car before and have gotten before service/quote from mobile services.
