Walked into this Ross Dress for Less in Irvine to do casual shopping--came here after being in…read morecrossroads nextdoor and, left feeling like a criminal & made to be a spectacle. I was followed around the store by multiple employees and undercover shoppers, who weren't even shopping. Then, while I was entering the checkout line (nowhere near the exit), a loss prevention officer suddenly rushed up on me like I was trying to steal something or leave, despite not being near the exit/entrance. I had a cart full of visible, low-cost items and was literally about to pay. No concealment. No suspicious behavior. Just aggressive, unnecessary intimidation. Even worse, he was on a walkie-talkie watching me and clearly communicating about me in real time--based on nothing. I could hear him describing me. Staff brushed it off ("it's his job"), and management gave generic apologies without addressing the issue. I was also given conflicting information about who loss prevention even works for. This wasn't loss prevention--this was profiling and poor judgment. Do better.

The whole process from start to finish was effortless. I texted frequently with both Lexi and Morgan and we sent pictures back and forth about what I was hoping the space to look like in the two weeks leading up to the remodel. We set a low budget, and Lexi was able to fit a complete remodel within my budget. My favorite aspect of the design was the wall feature. At first we thought she was going to have to contract that feature out, which would have cost a thousand + more dollars, but then she decided she and her team could tackle it themselves, and they did a beautiful job!! I picked out some furniture pieces, and so did she. She was able to incorporate sentimental pieces into the design and even printed family photos to hang. I was shocked at how easy and quickly this whole process was. I simply found her online, told her I wanted to do a surprise redo of my husbands at home office while we were away on a 3 day Vegas trip, and she took the wheel and made it happen! I was so thankful to give my husband such a special gift- a space of his own to work in peace, and style! Thank you Lexi and your team, we love it!! Generally speaking, TJ Maxx/clothes/beauty is on the left when you enter and HomeGoods/decor/furniture is on the right. It's a combined line though, and I don't know why but it's the most brightly lit I've ever seen a checkout. They have a ton of purses and luggage too if you have time to dig. The home goods section is huge too! It is over filled so you do have to be cautious and avoid breaking stuff. Make sure all items are in tact before leaving. Overall same as any other location. The line can get long. Even when they have a lot of staff you'll wait 15-30 minutes to check out, avoid lunch time to shop if you're in a rush. I've found some good stuff here, I like to shop for little gifts for people and I'll definitely be back.

Our installer Chris from Remark Constructions was Amazing, came on time with mask, shoe booties and always had covers for his equipment so it would not mark our floors. We were able to get everything redesigned to make it just perfect. It was a really nice experience that our satisfaction was a priority to them. We absolutely love the roller blackout blinds. It took longer than expected to actually have our blinds installed, and on the very first day there was a clicking sound from one of the motors. So, I called right away, and the representative ordered a new battery, motor, and the 2nd remote, which we should've received in the first place since the blinds are in two different rooms. ‍ About a week after, the top down function completely stopped on that same blind. It took about seven weeks later to receive the motor and battery. The installer determined that it was not a motor or battery issue, and therefore was supposed to have ordered us a new blind. This got botched because he didn't submit the report but made a note instead. The 3day blinds reordered a new motor and battery, again, instead. After he left, it no longer worked. In the meantime, I have one blind in my living room that works and am hanging a tapestry right next to it for the other half of my window. I'm 55 living like I did in college. I am an elementary school teacher and have never spent this kind of money on window treatments. I was so excited to splurge on myself, so you might understand my frustration, after spending $4500 on 3 shades. We have spoken to customer service many times, but they don't handle these kinds of issues. So, I have a case manager who I have left at least 5 messages, emailed several times while also cc'ing the attorney generals for CA and my state. None of this has lead to any resolution. This has been beyond disappointing, and I wish I had never gone with 3 Day Blinds and gone with Hunter Douglas, who was only slightly more expensive in the scheme of things.

While the plants are fine, I found the overall experience not worth returning for, especially considering the prices, which feel high and not always clearly marked. Several times I only learned the final cost at the register, which creates an uncomfortable surprise at checkout. The customer service has consistently been the main issue. I was not greeted warmly, and when I asked questions or requested help, the responses felt curt and unfriendly. On a couple of occasions, I also felt ignored or met with negative body language from staff, which made the experience uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. I also found their promotions confusing and inconsistently applied. I was informed of a 20% discount for wearing a soccer jersey during the World Cup. When I came in wearing one, I was told the promotion only applied on weekends. Even though today is a holiday and the store will be closed for the Fourth of July weekend, the discount was still denied. Overall, the combination of unclear pricing, inconsistent promotions, and unwelcoming service has led me to decide not to return. I do not recommend this store.
