It was easy to return/exchange here. Cashier 1126, sorry I didn't get her name was so well versed even with the complicated return/exchange process. So thankful I was assigned to checkout through her. Given the holidays, the queue took longer than my return/exchange. In terms of selection, there are tons especially clothes and right now they have $15, $20 deals or maybe lower than those. The quality are comparable to high end brands. read more

When my office used to be in this area, I frequently go to Marshalls during my lunch break. I seemed to always find something to buy. If you have time to go through their racks, you will find some good buys. Stopped by last night after dining nearby. I enjoyed looking through different departments. Snatched several items including a small travel bag, a summer dress, a pair of shoes, and some beauty stuff. Good deals! This store however, needs some help. Things were disorganized and all over the places and in almost every isle. I think they need more employees to help clean up and organize the store to be in a better shape. ;) read more

I honestly used to love shopping here but the service lacks everytime. The staff has no care for this business whatsoever. Obviously the line takes a while at these places but I went and was behind 3 other people and waited around 25 minutes just to be called up and ignored for another few minutes until I finally ask if someone can check me out. Not all but most of the staff I've encountered have just been rude. I probably won't be coming here again after that last experience. There's a Ross right next door! read more

I particularly love going to this location because of its cleanliness and organization. Parking is also plentiful. It's located in the same plaza as Hmart and Sprouts. I've been twice here now and both times I had a great time going through all the aisles and can easily spot something that I want because they do a great job of organizing all the items. I especially like coming here for things for my 2 year old daughter. The clothes selections are super cute and I can easily spot something that I want for her. They also have really great toys at really affordable prices. For example, I was able to find her a set of The Little Mermaid beach toys, which included a small wagon, shovels, and molds for sandcastles at just $7. The shoes can be a hit or miss depending on what size you are. For example, I wear a size 6 and their selections are extremely limited. However if you are size 7 or 8, I'm sure you've hit the jackpot because they have plenty of selections. Their beauty and household items area is really great. I was able to find myself a new vanity mirror for just $12. I also bought myself some really nice sets of press on nails, including a cute Disney themed set for when I go to Disneyland with my daughter for just $6. Don't get me started on how great the kitchen area is. The clothes selection for women can also be a hit or miss. I end up selecting up to 10 items to try out and usually end up with zero or at most one. However, I will say that I've always had a pleasant experience with all of the employees at this location. i'm looking forward to returning when I want some items at an affordable prices. read more

One of the cleanest Marshalls in OC. They are refreshing store floor so often so everything looks organized and well stocked. Value wise, everything is correctly and reasonably priced! The service is always great and finally i found my favorite Ice tea that I was looking for. They have also whole bunch of Stitches product in good prices and it you have a plan to buy something for your collection this is the place to be. read more

This location separates itself from the rest by being super clean and organized. There weren't items on the ground that I usually see at other locations. The dressing room is also spacious and has lots of hooks for you to place clothes on. I like the men's fragrances aisle is stocked with brand names for a good price. There are little carts to push around so you can keep piling on items into while you shop their low prices on brand names. read more

This is the worst Marshalls in Irvine/tustin area. I went tonight Tuesday night around 4:30pm. There was a line with roughly 5 people in front of me and it took about 25 min or more before I got to check out. All because four of the staff members were busy chatting (even though two of them had their lights on signifying that their register was open, but they were too busy ringing one of their coworkers up after they had a pile of clothes and products to the side. What they did the whole time was clearance out or yellow and red tags on every single item to roughly $3-$10 and thennnnn proceeded to check out the co worker. What a scam and why on the clock. The one getting checked out had all her gear and walkie on. What a lack of care for customers. All these woman seem to be "friends or family" because they were all speaking the same language to one another and did not have a care for any of the customers time. Every customer was visibly upset as well. I would rather go to Ross next door. read more

Absolutely awful service! There were only 2 registers open for a huge line, even though there were about 6 employees behind the counter at all times. The manager on shift just stood there folding clothes and not helping out at all when the line got bigger and just kept looking over at the line. Once at checkout, they had multiple marked down items that they just took the sticker off of ans refused to sell it to me at the marked down price! Their excuse was that they sometimes accidentally mislabel items and that they do not price match, this has never happened to me at any other Marshals! I have never had someone take off a markdown tag right in front of me and then refuse to sell me the item! DO NOT COME HERE! read more

I love shopping at Marshall's and Ross and such but this one in particular is horrible. The people who work here are probably racist, if not then they are the rudest humans iv met alive. I came with a friend and when we were both at the fitting room my friend didn't understand that you can't take in a belt and I tried to explain it to him but the lady working in front of the fitting room told me to quote "go away." So I did exactly what she told and I went into the fitting room. Then. She continued to call me back saying "I did not count your clothes" and she made me stand there while she counted the singular item I brought in. Then when I hesitated for a bit before going in she told me to go away again... lastly when I came out with the singular item I had. She made me stop so she could "count the items to make sure I didn't steal anything." Idk if she's having a bad day or smth but she did not have to spread that to others. read more

This store has a decent selection of items. I visited this location earlier today, a Wednesday morning. There were several employees throughout the store stocking shelves, and most of the store is kept fairly organized and well stocked. Despite the store being so well stocked, I went into the bathroom, and sadly, that was pretty disappointing and disgusting. The wall had brown stuff splattered on the wall and the whole bathroom had a very heavy smell of urine. It's upsetting to see that only the most visible part of the store is kept "clean." I've been shopping at Marshalls for many years, but my recent experience at this location left me completely disappointed and disrespected. Two employees--Erica and Valerie--were extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. As I approached the register where the light was clearly on, I assumed the lane was open. Instead of a simple explanation, Erica snapped at me saying, "I'm not open and I haven't called your name, go back." I responded kindly, explaining I thought the light meant she was ready, but she rudely repeated herself without even looking up, more focused on what she was writing. Moments later, another register called for the next customer even though their light wasn't on. As I walked toward that register, Valerie loudly said, "No, you're not next, the other person is," even though I had clearly been waiting. When I tried to explain, she cut me off and rudely stated, "The light doesn't mean anything. We call the customer, and you're wrong." She followed with, "The customer is not always right," which was incredibly unprofessional. What made matters worse was hearing her say something disrespectful about me in Spanish to her coworker--assuming I wouldn't understand. But I did. I confronted her calmly, letting her know I understood and that her behavior was unacceptable. I asked to speak with a manager, only to find out that Erica, the original rude employee, was the manager. I was shocked. If this is the level of leadership, no wonder the team lacks basic courtesy. Marshalls has always been a favorite store, but this kind of treatment makes customers feel devalued and humiliated. I hope this review encourages retraining or closer attention to customer service, because this was unacceptable on every level. read more

Hit or miss with their products. Overall though, would not recommend as the service could be improved. The long wait lines are overwhelming. Even if you have one or two items. It does go by slow. Why do I feel frustrated and disappointed in the customer service every time I go to this location?! It's so close to my house, but the frustration is not worth it. It starts with the manager. They all carry an air of arrogance. They make it sooo hard to return. Refuse to return some items because it was over 30 days. But surprisingly, I was able to complete the return with no hassle at the South Coast location. I feel the manager directs the employees to view the customers as a nuisance instead of a welcoming attitude that I'm actually contributing to the store. They had to IRL it which is fine because it was higher end, but they began to make remarks making it seem like i stole it. The employee didn't even know how to work her own register while her, and her boss gave me attitude. They started talking in their own language, which is fine, but not in front of a customer who is asking you to communicate with them. I visit this store as often as I visit my local TJMAXX. There's always great finds at both, but at this chain, I seem to notice more of the mid to high line brands like The North Face, Guess, and Merrell shoes. All brands that I have purchased within the past few months. My man found a great GUESS jacket with hood in his size for only $52.99! Original price was $250. At the time I had a few thousand points in this app called Shopkick, which earns me rewards by walking in and with my purchases. I was able to redeem my points for a $50 gift card, so that jacket only ended up costing a few dollars! My must stop section is the snacks & food aisle. I love their sauces, spices, dried fruits and jams. Usually I end up making a purchase of one of these items, if I didn't find anything else. Sometimes the lines can be long, and it can be a hit or miss situation, if you're looking for something specific, but it's always totally worth stopping in! read more

The bathrooms are HORRIBLE!! The water in the sink isn't even operable!! Nobody seems to care. I like Marshall's but NOT this one.

Absolutely awful service and staff. They always have a horrible attitude and never want to genuinely help you. I purchased a dress for a wedding and when I got home realized it was absolutely ruined at the bottom. Had I seen it in store, I wouldn't have purchased. I brought it back the next day and was initially told they wouldn't give me a refund as "we would never sell something like this" with accompanying comments being "you should've seen this before purchasing; next time look over your items". It's not my responsibility to ensure your items are in great condition to sell. We have tried to give this location multiple chances to change our perspective, but after many bad experiences, we will not be returning. I recommend driving a little further to a different location. read more

I love they opened up a new store here. I think the selection is great but then again I love to go through the racks looking for gems.

There are never enough cashiers here but sometimes my husband finds good things so we occasionally pop in. We placed items on hold and were told to return by 9pm to purchase. To our dismay, we returned by 8:30 and all items were already back on the racks! Unacceptable. The store is messy, and dirty and many of the salespeople are unhelpful. Poorly run store overall. What a disappointing contrast to TJ Maxx in the District. Do better. read more

I made the mistake of coming back here again, but it's on my way home, and it sucks! 22 customers waiting in line with only 2 cashiers. one cashier Jouanne was taking to one of the cashiers as she was helping a customer, I called the store 2 times as I stood in line I heard the phone ringing ans nobody answered it I called back and it rang 5 times before Jouanne answered it I said you have 22 customers in line do you not have any more cashiers to help, she said not right now, we hung up and then she paged for back up cashiers and 2 more came up and then she jumped on a register, that's it work the line down and they can go back yo the floor. of I was a secret shopper you would have failed! Avoid this location at all cost. The service is absolutely horrendous and providing customer service is clearly a chapter they skip during employee training. Venus and Nooshin had an attitude the entire time they were helping and kept talking to eachother in Farsi about me and my purchase, not realizing that I speak Farsi as well and understood every remark they were making. I recommend both have a reexamination of their positions and duties. They do not seem to have the attitude, aptitude, or alertness needed to be an effective team member of Marshals, especially not in a customer service industry. read more

Sold a non functional air fryer for $80 and refuses a refund. Says we have to contact the manufacturer. It was bought less than a month ago. Our contract was not with the manufacturer it was with the store that sold it to us. Said we cant return as its been used. How do you find out something isnt working if you dont try and use it?!
