I had called to get my window fixed and let them know it was on the PASSENGER SIDE. The window got stuck half way up and I was very satisfied with this company the first time this happened. I called to make an appt and they said they would get someone to come by. I then remembered that I might've got two different companies to work my windows or it could've been the same. I couldn't remember so I called LB Car Glass and asked if they had worked on my PASSENGER SIDE as well because I know they worked my Driver side window back in January. The man confirmed that there was a warranty and I said "Great!". The repair man came and let me know that he never worked on the PASSENGER SIDE, so I called LB Car glass to make sure I had a warranty on that side. They said No it was only on the Driver side. Then why did you say Yes earlier? I could've called the other company to verify if they worked my PASSENGER SIDE and I'm sure they would've had a warranty on it. Felt bad for the repair guy because it wasn't his fault. I had LB Car Glass stop their work because I didn't want anything else to be done if I had a warranty elsewhere. Who ever is handling the phones/warranties needs to do better research. Not sure if its the owner or an assistant but I wont be using LB Auto Glass again unless my window breaks again on the drivers side since they worked on that side. I'll be reviewing the other window place (as soon as I find out who they are) for their crap work.

I started looking around at local shops that take Farmers. My requirements were to use all OEM trim, foam, etc. to ensure that the fit and finish looked original and to avoid another Safelite-quality 'repair'. Out of all the local OC shops I talked to, Johnny was the only one who took the time to carefully listen to my concerns. He researched all the OEM parts for me on the first phone call. If you care about the details of your car, ask for Johnny because he really understands his customers. Others on the team are just as great. They kept in touch with me even when Johnny was away for a few days. I brought my car to the shop and the team kept me informed throughout the whole process. It was a quick job but they did it right, which is not what Safelite did. Avoid Safelite and just go with this shop (they are part of the Farmers affiliate network).

However, they were the most comprehensive in their initial quote and quoted me top-tier glass. If you have a front-mounted camera for adaptive cruise control, lane assist, etc., you HAVE to have the system recalibrated after a new windshield is installed. Several quotes suggested it's an option. It's not. Signature was on top of it when I asked about the calibration and how it was performed. They always responded to my several questions as I was deciding between two different auto glass shops. Signature won out for being quick to respond and offering more for less. I finalized the appointment on a Friday, and they were able to get me in on Monday morning. Monday came, and I was there at 8:30 (FYI: It's a little tricky to find as it's a small driveway, so slow down when you get close.) The guiding me into the garage where my window was already set up, ready to go. They led me to their waiting room with a TV, coffee, etc. They came in, showed me that my camera was slightly misaligned after removing my window, and said it would hopefully be corrected when they were done. About 90 minutes later, they came and got me, said they were done, and went through the report that said my camera had been perfectly recalibrated. Taking the care home, the window looked great! In more tests, it rained the next night, so I went for a drive, and there were zero leaks around the window. I couldn't have asked for a better product or service. One final hint - pay cash if you can. They appreciate it.

But what really impressed me was that he was able to come out that same day initially between 5-6pm. I was blown away. He was in the area at 2:30 and called and inquired on our availability to have the windshield completed at 3pm. Fortunately it all worked out schedule wise and bing-bang-boom...it was completed within an hour. I was a little late to my scheduled appt, but they went right to work as I pulled up. The shop is located inside of Pick Your Part Junk Yard's parking lot. The shop was busy, cranking out one windshield job after another. Jonathan was very friendly, helpful and serviceable. The price of the windshield replacement was the best I could find in town.
