Yay we finally got our hibachi fix! It's been a while, haven't been here yet but not only was the service great, the food was too!! We came in at 4pm it happened to be $8 sushi rolls!! The kids loved their Teriyaki Chicken plates and we loved our dinners too!! We left full and happy!!

Ninja has upped its sushi game! There is a new sushi chef in town, a transplant from New York, Stanley. We sat at the sushi bar, he actually came out, introduced himself and asked what kind of sushi we liked. We ordered yellowtail and salmon sashimi. WOW! The fish was so fresh, it melted in my mouth! The scallop nigiri was super good too. We asked Stanley to make us two of his favorite rolls. I now have a new favorite roll or should I say sandwich!? It's not on the menu and it's like nothing I have ever had. I can't even tell you what was in it, but it blew my mind, I ordered a second! I've struggled with consistently good sushi in Southern Utah, but tonight, at Ninja we had some of the best, fresh fish I've ever had! And this makes me very happy!!! Thank you Stanley and staff (who were all very friendly and attentive especially for how busy it was) for a great night and good food!

I came here for a bday dinner and this place is NOT it. Food is not it... some dishes came out was undercooked, noodle dishes were under seasoned and appeared thrown together sloppily. Chicken was dry. The ONE star is there service. Our server was amazing and she was VERY friendly and checked on us. I think the chef and kitchen staff are not experienced...

Ninja is a teppan and sushi restaurant. Their menu is extensive both with dinner entrees and sushi rolls, and the hibachi/teppan area is in the back of the restaurant so we weren't able to see it but it sounded pretty lively. I was hoping we could still order from the teppan menu even if we weren't seated at that table, but we weren't offered that option. Perhaps if you ask. I kept it simple with the Chicken Katsu. The chicken was delicious, perfectly breaded, super moist inside and stayed crisp outside. My side order of Yakisoba noodles, or fried noodles, were too sweet for my taste but were a large portion for the price. The atmosphere is a little drab and doesn't seem super clean. Overall it was an a-ok experience with good food.

Food***was average. It may be because we are used to the sushi back at home in PA but nothing screams off my plate either. The only wine they offer are Sutter Home products and I am not a fan of Sutter Home and wished they offered more brands. service*** it was average maybe a little below. Waitress didn't check in on us often enough. Ambiance *** typical sushi ambiance. Nothing screams out. We sat at the sushi bar and couldn't help but notice a huge rack of supplies like paper towels and take out containers that could be hidden behind a curtain or something like that. I thought it would have been a dressier place but shorts and T shirts are fine.

Excellent sushi and great service. They have a wide variety of sushi and nice tepenyakki areas to eat

    Bento

I ordered the sashimi bento the Fish was a bit slimy and old, the box looked half empty, I ordered 2 orders of surf clam nigiri I ate one piece and the second one had a bad taste I spit out of my mouth the other order I didn't even eat or my sashimi and Cali roll, I will never go back there I'll stay driving to Kabuto Sushi in St George

A new note in the door. Third time this has happened.

We had the brisket platter and the sampler. The brisket platter came with two sides and we picked the funeral potatoes and mac n cheese. The brisket was decent and the sampler was the star of the show! The ribs were well done and the pulled pork was exceptional. The brisket for both dishes were very dry and needed to be doused with subtantial amounts of bbq. Overall, brisket platter is not worth it but the sampler is! Service is top tier here!

Example: the Menu shows "seasoned" fries as a side and Pork Master as a Sandwich choice. Neither are still offered in Cedar City. The Online Ordering link offers quite a different list of item in comparison to the Menu link, and has very few item descriptions. Just name and price mostly. I had always ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork sandwich but the gal on the phone kept referencing a smaller pork sandwich which I didn't think I ordered but I ended up with an order for the Mini Pork Sandwich being placed for me. It was the size of a hamburger and was good. My husband usually ordered the Pork Master sandwich but that exists only on the incorrect Menu link. He ended up ordering the Smoked Brisket Melt which he said was okay. The differing links also confuse you as to what sides are offered with the entrees. When asked what side I wanted with the Pork Sandwich I was offered with only fries or tots. That was not what I thought I saw in their online order form which showed more options - several new ones and missing some of their previous offerings. I told the gal this and she agreed to give me the mashed potatoes - this time. So that sounds like they are not an option with the Mini Pork sandwich. We both ended up with mashed potatoes as the sides since we'd had poor experiences with how the sides end up after the ride home. The tater tots lose their crunch during the 10 minute ride home and arrive home soggier than you'd get in the restaurant. Pork Belly's in Cedar City had also discontinued the delicious seasoned french fry . Instead they offer plain fries which were disappointing on a prior order. The mashed potatoes needed a little salt (I'm am not a person who salts restaurant food). Maybe they had some garlic in them? They charge a 7% To Go fee. The original owners are long gone and under the new management, my husband is over ordering anything from this Pork Belly's now. Too many of the favorites that kept us coming back are gone and now only exist online in their historic Menu link. TIme to BBQ elsewhere.

So go with a date, friend, link, etc.. The service was quick! Got my food quicker than usual and that was pretty impressive! Spicy edamame: It was good, but it was not at all spicy. However, the sauce they used for it? I'd recommend using it on a bed of rice. It alone is the bomb dot com! Imma need that recipe LoL Hot & Sour soup: It was so good. Just the right balance! The serving size is just enough for you to enjoy. But do have this with the meal and take spoonfuls here and there! It can be come overwhelming if you just eat the soup alone Pork in garlic sauce: It honestly wasn't that at all great in my opinion. I expected something more on the saltier side but it was overwhelmingly sweet! So if you're a diabetic STAY AWAY from this. Eel Nigri: Hands down the best! It was tender, flavorful, soft, and decadent Tuna Nigri: I absolutely did not like this. It did not taste fresh....it had a very metallic taste as if it was freezer burnt! So huge no. I am in no business to say what food is fresh and frozen simply because I can't see the import, but it was most definitely not fresh. Overall, the service is impeccable, the staff are always on it and I appreciate the service. I would probably order something else next time. Total came out to $42.64 was it worth it? If they took off the tuna nigiri then yes. But it's aight.
