Brought my Infiniti here for inspection, oil change and to put air in my tire after going to Precision Tune Auto Care and the to Jiffy Lube. Both places had inspections machines that were not working. 1st Choice did the inspection right away and the oil change took about 20 minutes. The inspection was $26 and a synthetic oil change was $80 for 5 quarts I waited in the cool but cluttered "lobby". The owner is very friendly. I would recommend them at least for the services I received and I will be back. read more

This place may try to scam you - This place deserves to have negative stars and be shut down Very Disappointed I myself been taking my cars to this place for YEARS - I even recommended this place to family and friends. I have brought numerous cars for oil changes and replacing stickers and light auto repairs I told my wife to take my dad's car for an oil change this morning (2013 Toyota Corolla with less than 10k miles) Keep in mind we took that same car a while ago for the same oil change and it cost $39.95 and they tried to charge her $80 for an oil change with some excuse of a NEW synthetic oil. HELLO!!! even dealerships don't charge this much!! Heck my Lexus uses synthetic oil and it cost me $50. They could at least warned people, hey last time it cost $39.95 but now we are using a NEW synthetic oil (if there's actually a new one) that will cost $80. Fortunately, my wife had to complaint and ended up paying $45 I'm not sure if this place just saw a girl taking a car to a auto place and try to scam her but definitely sounds like this is a fact!! Once I was out of town and auto shop insisted to replace big parts of engine, when I brought Van at 1s choice, they fix it with minimal charges without replacing all parts. Excellent shop. I called ahead of time, comparing prices to other shops, and decided this is the place to go. Manager is straight up, and he will not low ball you. There's usually specials on oil changes at other places, making them cheaper, but I needed a few other things done. Those people that boast a oil chage special, charged a lot more for other services, which ultimately brought me here. The guy up front told me exactly what I needed and gave me a really fair price. Only 1 star because 0 is not an option. They did an over the phone inspection on a truck that I purchased from a nearby car lot. Inspected on 2-12-2020, turned on the headlights later that day to find that the driver's headlight was out. Had tires checked & 2 of them won't pass inspection. they also put Manual for the transmission, if they had actually inspected it, they would know it is an automatic. Came here to get my car inspected last year and had no issues. Today I was turned away because my tint was "after market and too dark". After arguing with the guy at the front desk, I drove away only to see "Nissan" stamped on all of my windows. All tint was installed during the fabrication of the vehicle! Took my car next door to RAPID REPAIR AUTO CENTER and they passed my car and confirmed that the tint was legal and came stock with the car. read more

When I actually brought my Lexus back in to get the work done, I was told it would be a 3 day job, and it ended up being finished in two days. I am very disappointed with the quality of work that I received at this establishment! Matt talks a good game and seems to really care about your car issue, but I recently found out what poor work I really received from his shop. My wife's car leaked out all of the anti freeze one day so we brought it to a different shop. They showed us the hose which as previously replaced at 1st Choice Car Care maybe a year earlier. It was NOT the correct hose for her Mazda 6, but instead 3 hoses pieced together with tape. The reason why I am so upset is that she had just driven to San Antonio a week before the hose broke. Anyway, I will not bring any of my cars back to this shop for ANY service. read more
